Marky mark Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Has he done enough for a regular start He looked a class act to me I can see him staring for the rest of the season
AKCJ Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Dunno much about him to be fair. I do know that Mark Schwarzer played well today though
ealingfox Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Appalling effort for the penalty and Christ knows what he was playing at for that Paulinho chance. Hamer stays for me.
Danizen Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 That save from Lamela was great. I don't think Schmeichel or Hamer would have got there.
Zapp Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 I dont believe Hamer has done anything to warrant being dropped. But good to know we dont have to worry if he gets sent off or injured.
Nalis Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 His distribution is in a different class to Kasper and Hamer.
Babylon Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Appalling effort for the penalty and Christ knows what he was playing at for that Paulinho chance. I think moaning about him going the wrong way at a penalty is stretching it a bit.
Kitchandro Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 That save from Lamela was great. I don't think Schmeichel or Hamer would have got there. Routine save if it's the one on the highlights. It looks acrobatic but keepers should have things covered from that angle and distance. It curled early so was within reach.
Babylon Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Routine save if it's the one on the highlights. It looks acrobatic but keepers should have things covered from that angle and distance. It curled early so was within reach. Yup... looked standard to me. Can he kick the ball in a straight line and not straight to their player, that's the question.
ealingfox Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Agree about the Lamela save, looked fairly routine to me. It is arguable that even semi-competent distribution could be enough to get him in, even if he was slightly behind in several other areas.
Itsthejoeker Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Some people are so far up Hamer's arse they can't even admit this guy played well and made a cracking save
theessexfox Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Genuinely was thinking he was MOTM until the last 10 minutes (still may be), kept us in it with some solid saves and looked in no trouble.
Grewks Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Some people are so far up Hamer's arse they can't even admit this guy played well and made a cracking save it was a simple save for any professional goalkeeper.... The fact he even palmed it up and away, instead of getting just fingertips, shows how realitively straightforward it was.
Brizzle Fox Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 He seemed to be able to kick the ball in the direction he actually wanted it to go. He's in for me!
Manwell Pablo Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Some people are so far up Hamer's arse they can't even admit this guy played well and made a cracking save I don't rate hamer as a prem league keeper at all and I'd be very worried if any of our three keepers hadn't made that stop.
ealingfox Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 I'd have been furious if I'd let that Lamela shot in myself from that position let alone a professional goalkeeper.
ADK Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Thought he was ok but nothing exceptional. Those who don't rate Hamer will probably say Schwarzer was excellent though.
GaelicFox Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 His kicks arrive where he wants them to go his organisation of the defence at set pieces was focuses and dominant, he made a fantastic save and above all is a better keeper than the other two at this stage, the other two will become better keepers for Mark being around, he starts against united 100%
Guest ttfn Posted 25 January 2015 Posted 25 January 2015 To be honest it was nice to see a goalkeeper who was alright at everything rather than brilliant at specific parts of goalkeeping and a total mess at other parts.
Nalis Posted 25 January 2015 Posted 25 January 2015 To be honest it was nice to see a goalkeeper who was alright at everything rather than brilliant at specific parts of goalkeeping and a total mess at other parts. Pretty much sums it up. Felt he has more presence than Kasper or Hamer.
Ross-Kemp Posted 25 January 2015 Posted 25 January 2015 His distribution was fantastic. Quick throws, kicks that went to our players.
teblin Posted 25 January 2015 Posted 25 January 2015 I get the feeling he will be first choice. Else why would he have left Chelsea?
