ZeljkoKalac1 Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 I see where you're coming from, but on paper, and that's what counts, we are the worst team in the league. A decent run and it can easily change
ithuriel Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 League does not lie, fair enough the team tries to play football but the squad we have is lacking in enough Prem quality.
foxfanazer Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 I thought we were by far the greatest team the world has ever seen?
ithuriel Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 We were, cant be the best all the while though, it gets tiring.
Guest Cujek Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 If the referee's werent so bad we wouldnt be bottom, no free kick against Burnley, 2 more points, Laughable 2 penalties against Liverpool 2 more points, blatant penalty against Spurs not given, 1 more point. And thats not taking into account the other games ref;s have made a complete balls up, Rob Green not being sent off springs to mind. We are not the worst team in this league, not by a long way. but we have had some very poor individual, isolated errors that have led to goals and some very poor finishing. Aside from Swansea, second half against stoke and that bloody Villa game, where we made them look loads better than they are, we have done ok, just with the afore mentioned mistakes in front of both goals going against us.
MC Prussian Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 If you take a look at the table, it's us. Having said that, we're only that far away from moving above the relegation zone. If you've seen our performances and some of the teams we've played against, my pick would be Aston Villa.
indierich06 Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Obviously it's not all about league position, or by that criteria Dortmund would be one of the worst teams in the Bundesliga - they're obviously not and they're clearly underperforming. I think you can certainly make a case that we're not the worst side in the league - you certainly couldn't get a fag paper among all the teams round the bottom.
indierich06 Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 All these people talking about the league table - so if we beat United and move out of the relegation spots, we'll have magically become a better team overnight?
Jakemoore Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 No, we are not. We create so many chances, we just need to take more of them. I'm convinced that we are good enough to stay up because I'm certain that there are three worse teams than us. Fingers crossed we start to score more goals!
Unabomber Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Nah you got Burnley, QPR, Villa, Hull, Newcastle before us imo.
Guest Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Table doesn't lie. It doesn't tell the truth either. When people start hearing tables talk they need psychiatric treatment
Finnaldo Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 To be honest in terms of individual quality we probably are one of the worst teams. But then again so would Burnley. I think it's more about the team synergy and togetherness which when shown has worked wonders for us, if we can manage to stabilise that then I think we could lift ourselves off bottom.
shailen Posted 25 April 2015 Author Posted 25 April 2015 WE ARE NOT THE WORST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE !!!!!!!
Bristol fox .... Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 I know you wont believe us I know you wont believe us I know you wont believe us The foxes never quit
Suffolk exile Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Stupid - ridiculous. We are simply not the worst team. The table doesn't lie!
shailen Posted 25 April 2015 Author Posted 25 April 2015 I think over the full season, Sunderland have been the worst side in the league. They have been on the end of some heavy defeats, and whenever I have seen them they look poor.

Guest Col city fan Posted 26 April 2015 Posted 26 April 2015 The worst team in the league currently I think is Newcastle. They could just avoid getting right into trouble. If so, they will be bloody lucky. Geordie fans....be careful what you wish for.

Geordie fans....be careful what you wish for. They looked awful when we beat them down here earlier in the season and their own fans turned on them like nothing I have ever seen. The Newcy players went to applaud their fans in the away section at the end and decided against it due to the aggro, the caretaker manager went over anyway and got some right grief. Hopefully they can be that bad again next weekend.

Jon the Hat Posted 27 April 2015 Posted 27 April 2015 Really hope we give Newcastle a twatting at the weekend. That would be fun.
Guest Posted 27 April 2015 Posted 27 April 2015 Really hope we give Newcastle a twatting at the weekend. That would be fun. It'd be even better if we beat them.
Finnegan Posted 27 April 2015 Posted 27 April 2015 The worst team in the league will be bottom once everybody has played each other twice. Fairly confident it'll be Burnley or QPR, both of whom are dreadful and have been worse than us all year. We had our tough games first, we've got our easier games now. Just as straight forward as that. Said months ago Burnley are shit and lo and behold. We're unlucky not to have taken six points off them, as it is we've taken four and they're below us in the table. End of.

Geordie fans....be careful what you wish for. I agree, Newcastle are a poor side with a terrible attitude. I posted this back in January and got shouted down. http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/topic/98886-really-interesting-article/?p=3267763 I still don't think they are out of the relegation fight.
