Was getting relegated under Adams not stability? The same manager who got us up in the first place, stayed the whole of the premier league season and had the aim of getting us back up again.

Look what happened then.

Nobody answered my question earlier so I ask again.

How do we know that Kramaric is Premier League standard?

Not saying he isn't or won't be but its a massive gamble to bring in someone who has never played in this country and expect him to fly....he may take a long time to settle and indeed may not settle at all...I hope I'm wrong but I'm just being realistic

We don't but with his record.

A He would cost 50mil if he had done it in the prem

B proven he would never have come to us

C No bigger risk than any player you bring in.

Even a proven prem player don't mean he would perform for us.

Akinbadbuy scored for Wolves lucky to hit a barn door for us.

Whatever they do not all work out.

Micky Adams filled the team with old men and bought poorly in the championship. You cannot compare the two, particularly when we haven't been relegated......yet at least.

Yet Adams made more of a fight of staying up than we are currently and got promoted in one season under awful constraints. I honestly don't think we will be in any better shape than we were under Adams.

If we go down, we'll have an over haul if it's Pearson or another. Some will get poached and we will need to freshen things up. Going down will be disastrous, whether it's the same manager or not.

And who knows, this season may have really put the owners off attempting to do it all again. Who knows where that would leave us.

We're doomed

Doomed I tell you!!....my opinion hasn't changed...if anything weve come out of this transfer window far better than our rivals.

Burnley have an unhinged Ings and miised out on Dorrans potentially to a Championship team

QPR don't know their ass from their elbow and want to swap a loan player they've had five minutes but can't!!

Hull missed out on Lennon and have just paid out compensation for a player they've just loaned out to the Florist and now the sheep shaggers and...

Palace got Zaha (but he was already there) on a permanent and signed a coupke of nobodies

Villa....the less said the better

We're doomed

At this point last season was you saying we would not go up?

Really don't get this.

3 pts off automatic promotion you would all be saying we can do it.

3 pts from safety with 15 games to go we are down.

lol lol pre pair to eat your words.

Over the past decade, Prem clubs buying in the Jan window haven't been more successful in staying up. In 2005 Fulham didn't buy & escaped relegation. But Derby in '08 & Cardiff last season bought 7/8 & still went down.

We're doomed

This.....a centre back who's not good enough for Stoke, unproven croat and a goalie...Great.we are bottom of the table.....We are done.If this what we we're waiting for for the last ten years then i might not bother next season.

I'm not pished either way because I wasn't expecting much more after the Kram deal. Pleased with Huth, disapointed about no CM. However I do think shutting up shop at 9pm and fookin off home shows a lack of intent. Shows how difficult it must have been and how badly we really have struggled to get anyone in.

Where's all the posters who were banging on and on over the last 10 days about how there's plenty of time, not to panic and all the deals are done in the last 12 hours....

Are we surprised ? not at all pearson fails to deliver yet again I said weeks ago this would happen and its proved to be the case 3 signings on the cards and he brings in 1 it almost confirms our relegation 2 transfer windows and he's fsiled once again the last chance you had at our football club , come May pack your stuff and go !!!

You do realise it's not Pearson's job to do the deals to bring the players in?

Despite popular belief, transfers are so complex these days (especially in Jan) and we've not managed to do the deals. It's not as straight forward as it is on Football Manager!

I'm sure Pearson is as frustrated as we all are but it is what it is and we've just got to deal with it and get ready for the fight ahead.

Yes our transfer business has been disappointing but by the sounds of it, you and a few others on here have already thrown the towel in & given up on survival which is pretty shameful tbh.

If I'd offered you the position we're in now at any point over the past 10 yrs you're a liar if you say you wouldn't of snapped my hand off!

Stop with the negativity, back your team, have some belief and for gods sake SHOW SOME FIGHTING SPIRIT!!

The team is getting full backing in the stadium - all that counts.

Fans can write what they want on a forum, only a problem when it creeps into the stadium, which it hasn't yet imo.

We know our squad for the rest of the season now. Our closest relegation rivals haven't done great business. We have a squad capable of staying up. We might succeed and we might not.Either way as fans the best way we can support the cause is to get behind, the team, get behind the manager and play our part in promoting a positive atmosphere that supports what everyone at the club is trying to do!

Doing otherwise will not help the team achieve this. For those who moan, please do so quietly. You may not be happy. You may not feel we have the right Management team but If you love your club, you will support them as like them or not they are trying to achieve what you want them to achieve.Doing the opposite will undermine what they and you want.... to stay up

West Brom .... Carlton Cole deal fallen through.

Hull - No deals?

Burnley no moves in or out.

Villa - No deals??

Although I'm disappointed we didn't get a creative Midfielder and a left back we've at least got Huth and Kramaric in.

So for me the bottom of the table looks like this come May .....

QPR

West Brom / LCFC

LCFC / West Brom

Hull

Villa

Burnley

Ah poor Nigel is frustrated. Well he can f...

Please explain the 'complexity' of buying players 'these days'. If it's not too complex.
