sylofox Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 Couldn't put it better myself. Why? He has an exit in the summer. Say's who have you seen his contract.
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 Worried about the lack of options in midfield creativity wise if James/cambiasso are injured! Of course as well our left back situation having no one decent to play there. I think we've truly ****ed up not getting a left back in Martin Olsson going WBA.. would have been ideal
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 Why does my post draw from you such an extreme response? Would paying some higher wages to Capoue for instance until the end of the season really cause us to go bust? Of course not. Is he a quality player that could in fact assist us in staying up? Yes, definitely. What's wrong with that? Sell your soul to the devil in return for a quick result - or stick by the principles that have done us right so far, even if it has taken a little longer? Would going down with the squad we currently have be the worst thing that could happen to us? Might a bit of yo-yoing be the better way for the club to build to where we want it to be?
Fox 4 Life Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 Martin Olsson going WBA.. would have been ideal Agreed would have been happy with that. Good signing for a rival
Finn Claw II Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 He's bought a premiership quality CB and a premiership quality attacker. Let's not quite condemned ourselves to relegation yet. The damage was done during the slump, crap tactics and odd team selections. The team may yet scrape survival.
kingfox Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 Relegation it is then. Best draw up a list for the Championship, starting with Jonny Howson.

We're DOOOOOOOMED.
Spanner73 Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 pulls is pulling them in at west brom who have an appetite and ambition to stay up I think it's abysmsl what is going on at our club I'm sorry he's got to go !!

MikeyT Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 Confimed on SSN that no business will be done by us.
AKCJ Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 All I wanted was a left back. We've needed one for the best part of a year now and we've not been linked with one. Olssen from Norwich is supposedly going to WBA for 4m. Why not challenge that?

5waller5 Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 That's it according to the Sky reporter at the training ground. No more business. Not enough, for me, unfortunately. Let's hope I'm wrong!
chapero82 Posted 2 February 2015 Author Posted 2 February 2015 We need to win 8 out of 13 games we need to go on some run to stay up
RowlattsFox Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 Since when did Olsson become the saviour? He's been part of relegated squads for the past 2 seasons I think. Also he's going as part of the Dorrans deal. I'm disappointed we've not signed a left back but I think we should have signed one in the summer.
stillwater Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 Marvellous, no desire on the pitch and no desire to get deals done and bring in the much needed players we can all see we need. Lack of ambition from the Thais or nobody wanting to come and play for a manager that is so far out of his depth it's becoming embarrassing.
Bettsj2 Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 Sell your soul to the devil in return for a quick result - or stick by the principles that have done us right so far, even if it has taken a little longer? Would going down with the squad we currently have be the worst thing that could happen to us? Might a bit of yo-yoing be the better way for the club to build to where we want it to be? Assuming the players stay. If we went down I could see James, Hammond, Cambiasso, Ulloa, Nugent, Was, Knocky, Mahrez and Kasper moving on. Going down would be a very bad thing.
Monsell1976 Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 Think the club are playing it safe, not going to risk a big outlay incase we go down. Would have liked them to take a risk in the loan market, paying a bit more in wages to bring in better quality, and they go back in the summer, but being bottom who would really want to sign for us.
AKCJ Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 We need to win 8 out of 13 games we need to go on some run to stay up We're aiming to stay up not win the league. 8 wins is more than enough. We're 3 points off ffs.
Dan Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 Well if that's all then I can't say I'm particularly confident. I think we've had an OK month, but it could've been better. We've still got an absolutely glaring weakness at left back. I'd love Konchesky to prove me wrong but he won't. He hasn't got the technique.
Spanner73 Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 Take your anger out on the " arrogant one " !!
