bovril Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 Why oh why did I watch the video. RIP poor man. Yeah, think I'll steer clear of that one.
Guest MattP Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 I watched it as well, I do it to try and understand the evil of it. The most distressing thing for me was the pure joy in the faces of the perpetrators. Such enjoyment from inflicting such horror. Even the Nazi's weren't laughing and joking while they killed their victims.
bovril Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 Really don't want to think about it.Remember watching the original wicker man when younger and thinking it would be the worst way to go.. It sounds flippant but that was the first thing that came to my mind when I heard it. That ending really fvcked me up. At least with that you could remind yourself it was a film.
Danno Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 saddam hussein would have sorted these bast#rds out... some times in this wonderful world we do need dictators to keep the lid on all this stuff.... Did you know that there are 7000 NATO troops still in the Balkans keeping a lid on that lot !!!
Unabomber Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 Yes, why? I saw a still image and that was enough. Read an article by Piers Morgan and it made me think about it, I wanted to witness the evil that occurs on our Earth first hand so I could aware myself on the horrors.

Even the Nazi's weren't laughing and joking while they killed their victims. I honestly think that these are the modern day equivalent. Ideological dogma based on purity of belief (and race, to a degree), mixed with absolute willingness to kill and enjoy the killing of those who don't share it (I think the Nazis took more satisfaction than joy in their killing, but it's the same). Thankfully they don't have a powerful industrial nation state with a vast military backbone to fuel them. That being said, they need to be dealt with.
Bayfox Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 what a lot of effort they put into that 15 mins before hand. I'm not sure if my head believes whay it's just witnessed. how he has the bottle to just stand there and not give them the pleasure of him begging I don't know. I know they won't show mercy. but my natural reaction would still be to plead. not sure I will be travelling that way round the world anytime soon. us and the yanks and any other right minded nations should show that to our forces and send them out to wipe the ****ers out. horrible horrible bastards. just want to go home and cuddle my kids now. what a world they may have to grow up in sadly.
Unabomber Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 not sure I will be travelling that way round the world anytime soon. Yeah absolutely no chance that i'll beheading over there at all.

I think the Nazis saw what they were doing as a necessity,I watched an ISIS execution video of about 50 people a few weeks ago and again the delight was what struck me the most about it. They were taking photos, laughing and seemingly delighted about what they were about to do. Even in horrific war time the Communists, Western allies or Nazis wouldn't deliberately shoot and injure people providing aid, let alone take one hostage and chop his head off to show the World. There are two things that really worry me, how much support they are getting - from 35,000 to 100,000 soldiers now according to various neutral observers within a year. The other is of course how our own country reacts when we get one of these attacks on our own soil, which is inevitable at some point.

Danno Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 I agree. At least he was controlling people who wanted to uprise.Yeah at least he was torturing children and commiting genocide on Kurds.
Bayfox Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 Yeah absolutely no chance that i'll beheading over there at all. beheading really.
Fox92 Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 Yeah at least he was torturing children and commiting genocide on Kurds. Not saying that's right but I believe we didn't have mass murderers and powers like Isis though did we?
Danno Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 Not saying that's right but I believe we didn't have mass murderers and powers like Isis though did we?Well we had Sadam Hussain..
Fox92 Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 Well we had Sadam Hussain.. We also had Tony Blair...
Lionator Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 Putin has got to have something up his sleeve... When ISIS beheaded two Russians a few weeks back, the purpurtrators had mysteriously been killed within three days. Eastern countries such as Russia, China and Japan only have their own interests at heart so are very very unlikely to want to intervene.
MikeyT Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 Sorry it's from the Daily Fail. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2938746/PIERS-MORGAN-Watching-ISIS-burn-man-alive-abominable-thing-seen-Muslim-won-t-stand-barbarians-watch-too.html?ito=social-facebook
Ghost Troop Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 I think we all agree a barbaric act, with no justification in any form. But, those of you who want us to intervene on the ground, to send in our troops should ask themselves if they would go and fight, put themselves in harms way? Or send their sons (or daughters) to stand toe to toe with these fighters and slug it out? Its not COD, combat is frightening, sickening and dirty. War is a bloody, confusing, horrible mess to be avoided wherever possible. We should not send our young men to fight without understanding just how painful it will be and be prepared to do something ourselves in their support. Its easy fighting from your armchair.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 Could never bring myself to watch it, the same way I was intrigued but not intrigued enough to click play on Three Guys One Hammer. Both sound like things you can't ever unsee.
ScouseFox Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 i went to watch the vid but then "kim kardashian gets nude again" was a related story (not sure how it's related, anyone know?) so i opted for that instead. the still was enough to get the idea and that was ****ed up enough for me, poor fella. edit - the second line is about the murder, not kim k's nudes.
Buzzell Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 I remember watching the Kenneth Bigley beheading video back in the day. That shit gave me nightmares for days.
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 I remember watching the Kenneth Bigley beheading video back in the day. That shit gave me nightmares for days. I made the mistake of watching the beheading of Eugene Armstrong, the first of 2 Americans murdered before Bigley, which is the most graphic and horrific thing you are ever likely to see, that guy being burned is nothing on it. His head was cut off with essentially a small butcher's knife and it took ages, while he squealed like a pig. Swear it almost gave me psychosis. If things are that diffcult to watch then just how must it feelto be in the victim's position, pure terror and then crushing pain. Poor poor victims and it makes you want to see ISIS brutally wiped out, absolute Fooking c***s

Swear it took about 5 minutes to decapitate him whilst he screamed in pain. Horrible video.
