RedSoxUK Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 For me, Albrighton had to start today. You don't leave your better, attacking and defensive players on the bench unless they're in the bad books, and even then you have to ask why that is. Give the lad a break, he's already proved himself. Other than that, I would have liked to have seen RDL start, More than capable of winning today.
bovril Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Albrighton to come on in the 80th min when were 0-2 down? Probably. 65th. Pearson always makes subs in the 65th.
Guest Bilo Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Not sure I like Kramaric being dropped to the bench, but Nugent and Ulloa hasn't been a disastrous combination in the past. I'd expect Ulloa to be off first for Kram Dog if it isn't working for him.
walkerleeds Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 He clearly isn't?! He's better than Schlupp. Wait, are you actually serious?
whoareyaaa Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 stupid decsion to bench kammy what's he actually thinking Nugent or Kram? ****ing obvious especially with Marhez back in the side clueless from a Pearson fan
cjslcfc Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 I came in the thread expecting people to be fairly happy. Personally, I think it's a decent team. Would have liked to see Kramaric start but I can see why nugent does. Mahrez is better than Albrighton, who can feel a little unlucky not to start, and de laet looked so confused last week going forwards on the left. Not sure why some are so shocked or appalled by the team selection...
Merging Cultures Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Decent team, I think it will create some chances. 60 mins put on Kramaric for Ulloa. Hopefully Morgan and Konch perform so we don't have to replace them.
lgfualol Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 What happens if Wes or Was gets injured? We keep a clean sheet. This is meant as a joke
MikeyT Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 What happens if Wes or Was gets injured? Konchesky to centre half and Schlupp to left back.

Our better attacking players are on the pitch, sorry but Schlupp and Mahrez have both shown themselves as good enough.
shailen Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 What happens if Wes or Was gets injured? Konchesky moves to CB and De laet LB
Master Fox Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 It really bothers me Mogran starts every week. Let alone being captain of the team.
Guest Col city fan Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Whatever the outcome of today's game, I simply don't get why you would go out and break the club's record transfer fee on a striker...and then not play him in the biggest game in the clubs recent history. I guess someone will come up with some obscure answer, but that, simply is bizarre. What is he being 'saved' for..you don't get a more important game than this?
chicagofox Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 That's exactly mine except De Laet for Konchesky and Kramarić for Ulloa./quote] So it's not exactly yours.
Guest Bilo Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 It really bothers me Mogran starts every week. Let alone being captain of the team. I honestly think his place will be under threat when Huth is back.
Babylon Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 stupid decsion to bench kammy what's he actually thinking Nugent or Kram? ****ing obvious especially with Marhez back in the side clueless from a Pearson fan Picking a team not on price tag but on recent performances seems more than sensible to me.
Troop3r Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 He starts Kramaric away, where he is forced to play as a fking defender and where Messi couldnt make a difference, and now when he might get some space and balls, he puts him on bench? I dont understand..
Guest Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Personally think that Mahrez is the better attacker compared to Albrighton and more likely to score a goal but Albrighton is a much better crosser and cover player. Happy with both but would have liked Albrigthon to start and Mahrez to come on as sub if we can't score.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 It really bothers me Mogran starts every week. Let alone being captain of the team. Better than Liam, proof will be when Huth is available.
Brooksy Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 I honestly think his place will be under threat when Huth is back. Hopefully but I can't see NP dropping the captain.
CollinsLCFC Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 I do have to admit, as much as I am disappointed to see Albrighton on the bench yet again, if he did decide to put Albrighton on and drop Schlupp/Mahrez, it would be very unfair and spark a lot of negativity. I will stick to my guns about Kramaric though, I think it would be a great game for him to prove himself.
cjslcfc Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 I honestly think his place will be under threat when Huth is back. Bloody hope so. Huth has to start with his experience and ability and Was has been by far the better of the pair
RedSoxUK Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Our better attacking players are on the pitch, sorry but Schlupp and Mahrez have both shown themselves as good enough. Schlupp occasionally does, and Mahrez is our best player yes - but I'd rather have Mahrez / Albrighton combination with Albrighton proving in his cameo's he's desrvent of a start, especially after Schlupp's embarrassing display at Old Trafford. I would have moved Mahrez and Schlupp over to the left, and let Albrighton start on the right.
justfoxes Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Disappointed PEARSON has left Kramaric out of the starting line up with MAHREZ back just the right player to put the ball in the right place for him to pop 1 or 2 in would have probably had him in place of Nugent ! James for DD KONCH back hopefully will play a much better game today,But it looks like PEARSON is going for a physical presence up front ! Come on city lets go for it 3 points today please !
GH1 Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 I would have started Kramaric, he needs game time in this league
