I don't know how anyone watching recent games can't appreciate we've improved with him on the pitch. What's Kramaric done to deserve his place? Nothing yet.

Kramaric shouldn't walk into the team based on his price tag. He has to earn his spot and he hasn't done that yet. These aren't the games where we can test things, we need tried and trusted. The record striker should have been the player who was your first choice. The first player on the team-sheet, especially given our position. He is the player who you trusted, you played, and had faith in. He SHOULDNT have been a kid who might take three months to adjust..we don't have time! Bizarre management, whatever today's score. I fully expected Kramaric to start today's game.

It's hard to be patient when you're last place but we have to work Kramaric in slowly. I just can't see Schlupp and Mahrez not starting, but if it's not working or if Mahrez can't go 90, we will see Albrighton. I agree. We havent got the games to bed Krammy in. Albrighton is very unlucky not to start. Not done anything wrong at all.

Getting shafted by Manchester United away from home is hardly an account for Kramaric / Ulloa who were powerless with a midfield less effective than Cambridge United. And a cameo vs Stoke City after very little match fitness preparation.. Kramaric hasn't even played 90 minutes of football yet and he's being dropped for ..poor form..?? or because Nugent is a better fit dropping in to the hole today? If it's the case then I'd rather see a combination of Nugent behind Kramaric and drop Ulloa, especially when Albrighton isn't starting.

I fully expected Kramaric to start today's game. We paid the money we did because he's a kid. If he was 28 (Ulloa's age) then we wouldn't have paid anywhere near 9m. Ulloa is our main striker and he's scored most of our goals this season. Kramaric needs to prove himself first, dropping a proven scorer for someone that isn't would be mental. We've tried Kramaric in that hole that Nugent occupies and it hasn't worked. Kramaric will get another chance in the second half when he comes off the bench. He needs to take it.

Tried and trusted that failed to get anything at Palace and failed to win against Burnley, Sunderland and WBA at home? No ta. Predictable Pearson strikes again. It's baffling. We need something different. Palace now know exactly what they're up against. There's no surprises in that selection whatsoever. The only surprise is in who isn't included.

Kramaric has been dropped because Nugent is the better fit, yes. Kramaric doesn't get in ahead of Ulloa...yet. Simple. He needs to prove himself and he hasn't in his games against Spurs and United where we improved hugely when he was taken off.

Nothing yet. We're improved with someone playing that role, definitely, we're tactically better in that shape. Without the ball, Nugent has worked hard and harried in that slot. Vardy, as energetic as he is, doesn't operate in the same way. Definitely. With you there. But with the ball? He's diabolical. Amount of times he gives it away, makes nothing happen, slows down play, etc. His shooting is shit, his passing is shit. I really liberties guy in the championship, probably one of my favourite players last year. I'm not anti Nugent in any childish sense, he's just out of his depth. Either Kramaric is better and needs gametime to settle and improve us or he's shit and a massive waste of money. Either way I'm very disappointed with the selection. (watch him score the winner now )

Xen Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 For Kramaric, the lad desperately needs his first goal to kick-start his leicester career. For whatever reason it's not happened yet, but having him on the bench to start off with may actually help the lad. I'd wager that NP has already decided he's going to introduce him towards the 70 minute mark after Schlupp, Mahrez and Nuge have tired the Palace defense out. This'll give Kramaric (and Albrighton, who'll probably come on for Mahrez), more time on the ball and better opportunities to create/convert chances, and hopefully one of them will stick. Happy with the rest of the side, particularly if it's 4-2-3-1 with Nuge dropping back into the '3'.
cc_star Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Do people not realise that you don't finish the game with the same 11 that's starts it and quite often in tightly fought games a sub will make the difference As long as Nugent is on the pitch, things should happen, because whatever his individual ability (or not) the team plays with higher tempo when he's playing My only worry is Cambiasso, would much rather Hammond be involved Maybe Cambiasso & Kram on later when flicks and guile can make the difference, not for the first 60 when workrate is often the difference

Nugent has done nothing all season pal, you can sing his praise about how better we look with him on the pitch which at times his link play has been decent but he's there to score goals which he hasn't done all season. Nugent has shown all season that he can't finish, we need goals we have a goal scorer sitting on the bench.

Of course it's a contributing factor, but Nugent came on and had a much better game than Kramaric did. You'd be a buffoon to suggest otherwise.
