foxinsox Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 No especially poor performances. Ineffective with the final ball. No idea why Kramaric was in midfield when he came on. Crystal Palace were nothing special, just wiyh a bit better game plan. Their finishing was poor too.
Saxondale Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Simpson an absolute useless pranny yet again. I can't believe some dweebs rate him.
The Doctor Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Schwarzer - 7 - more assured with crosses than anyone else, nothing he could really do about the goal but his distribution was better to boot. Simpson - 2 - had a nightmare defending against Zaha, was awful in picking passes and was at fault for the goal with his laziness and not bothering to prevent the corner Wes - 5 - Ok, but looks like he's running out of steam Was - 5 - Ok, hardly troubled by them Konch - 4 - got forward a bit but wasteful. Mahrez - 7 - Really missed him, very creative and should have had a few assists to his name Cambiasso - 6 - Ok, some clever play and didn't really let palace do too much James - 6 - same as Cambiasso Schlupp - 4 - like a lost puppy today Nugent - 6 - unlucky with the header, should have scored the one-v-one, but did ok Ulloa - 4 - control lacking, didn't hold the ball up and didn't threaten Subs: Albrighton - 5 - didn't offer much justification for starting in the future Kramaric - 6 - ok, should have won a penalty when he got bundled over, but fed off scraps for the most part Vardy - not on long enough to rate Pearson - 5 - set up was fine, can't really blame him for Simpsons constant brain farts when he'd been reasonably solid prior to this Palace -3 - offered nothing, second best for most of the match and deserved nothing - robbed the points by luck, not strategy Mason - 2 - poor, let Zaha dive to his hearts content, missed the foul on Kramaric, but just being a bit shit is an improvement on most refs in this division
kingfox Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Schwarzer 6 - Hardly had anything to do, kicking much better than Hamer Simpson 4 - Just backs off & backs off, surprised he doesn't fall over his feet Morgan 4 - As soon as he clashed heads with Dann, he had an absolute shocker Wasilewski 7 - Yet again best defender, good blocks, good headers, not scared to bring the ball out, decent Konchesky 5 - Has played worse this season, but a pretty average performance Mahrez 7 - Our most dangerous player going forward, tried to make things happen James 6 - Average performance, wanted him to show more bite when fighting for second balls Cambiasso 6 - Some of his passing was majestic at times, but that chance where he decided to pass it was diabolical Schlupp 5 - One or two good bits of play, but apart from that he was fairly poor Nugent 6 - Decent in parts, worked hard as usual & linked well enough especially first half Ulloa 5 - Thought he wasn't bad first half considering Palace defenders tried to maul him, but second half was a bad display Honourable mention to Albrighton who yet again delivered some excellent crosses.
Adster Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Dont care about anyone else. Danny Simpson - 0. The most pathetic, lacklustre and incompetent performance from any player I've ever seen from any player in any game ever. Didn't make a single winning challenge against Zaha, and when he tried he fouled him. Even when he tried to hoof the ball he sliced at it. He didn't win any headers against any of their players and didn't do nothing getting up the pitch. He was absolutely pathetic and if he doesn't get dropped after that Nigel needs his head testing.
TOMBlcfc Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 James MOTM, him and cambiasso looked like a great improvement over king and drinky. Ulloa in particular had a shocker. Couldn't see their goal from where i was so can't comment on who was at fault
MooseBreath Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Schwarzer 5 - didn't make a save Simpson 2 - was ran ragged by Zaha and was too lazy to prevent the corner that led to their goal Was 7 - solid Wes 3 - disaster waiting to happen Konch 5 - did nothing particularly wrong but offered nothing positive either Mahrez 8 - A gifted player on great form, struggled when palace parked the bus understandably, if only he hadn't have been dropped by Pearson so regularly earlier in the season. Cambiasso 6 - solid without inspiring James 6 - likewise Schlupp 2 - he only gets more than 1 because he had a shot that was the result of some nice control, other than that this was Schlupp at his worst, genuinely looking like a Sunday league player Ulloa 3 - impotent Nugent 3 - failed at crucial moments Subs NA - the game was already lost Nige 1 - awful Palace 3 - marginally less crap than us Ref 6 - didn't notice too much of him either way Pearson - stay, only because what's the point now, and it might be fun to see him actually snap and do something ridiculous as he very nearly did today with his hands around McArthur's throat.

He had a great match! Quality nutmeg, four or five chances created and dominance on the ball. IMO he is one if four players in the squad that should have no objections raised whatsoever about starting a match.
Benguin Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Schwarzer - not bad, didn't have to do too much 5 Simpson - Like him, awful today tho 4 Wes - lacked a little quality today 5 Was - consistently strong 6 Konchesky - better than usual 5 Mahrez - missed him 7 Cambiasso - missed even more 8 James - missed him but not the best today 5 Schlupp - not to good today 5 Nugent - good first half, no contesting for the ball second half, missed some easy chances 5 Ulloa - didn't know he was playing 4 Albrighton- start him for christs sake!!!! 8 Kramaric - weak but quality on ball 6 Vardy - better than his recent form 5 Ref might as well have put a yellow shirt on
sdb Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Mostly 6's. Mahrez 7. Simpson had a poor 10 mins and was so-so for 80 & everyone gives him 2's and 3's
Dan Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Unless stated otherwise, they were given a five; Simpson - 3. Abject. So many basic errors it was unreal. Morgan - 4. A trier, but not good enough for this level I'm afraid. Huth on Tuesday. Mahrez - 6. Very good first half but a bit off in the second. Cambiasso - 6. He's far, far too good for us. Schlupp - 3. Hilariously bad. That was a pre-Christmas display. Ulloa - 1. Worst display I've seen from a Leicester player this season. Actually lost for words at how awful he was. Pearson - 3. Selection wrong again, lack of ideas when behind again, lost again. He's looking more and more out of his depth every week I'm afraid. I've voted stay, but I very nearly didn't. I'm struggling to defend the bloke anymore. I said the day I called for Pearson to go was the day where I felt he'd stopped taking us forward - today, I'm seriously worried that it's become the case. He repeated his mistakes yet again. Ref - 3. Shit as hell but the least I expect. There's no way referees are unbiased where Leicester are concerned and I'd love to know why. I'm not having it. Palace - 4. Just another West Brom/Stoke kind of side. Nothing special what so ever but you don't need to be against the most impotent side in the league.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Schwarzer - 4 - Had little to do and when called upon, they scored. Reasonable distribution. Simpson - 2 - Awful. Wes - 2 - Awful. Was - 6 - Get him and Huth playing together. Konchesky - 5 - Did not all too much wrong, still hoofing. James - 5 - Some good tackles and energy. Cambiasso - 5 - Tired (as expected) towards the end but along with Mahrez appears to be the only person with an ounce of composure in the side. Should've scored. Mahrez - 6 - Lively, good to have him back. Schlupp - 3 - Hit a shot backwards. BACKWARDS. Nuge - 4 - Marked down for the misses but was always causing problems and kept attacks running in the first period. Should've scored. Ulloa - 2 - Awful.
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 I feel their should be a zero button made just for Danny Simpson's performance today. Zaha made him look like a 12 year old and his distribution is worse than Konch.
ADK Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Schwarzer -6 Simpson - 6 Was - 6 Wes - 6 Konch - 6 Mahrez - 7 James - 6 Cambiasso - 7 Schlupp - 6 Nugent - 6 Ulloa - 5 Albrighton - 6 Kramaric - 5 Vardy - 6 Pearson - 6 Ref - 6 Palace - 5
dbtcity Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 I honestly must watch a different cambiasso to everyone else as I see an old man who's legs have gone, sees a pass others don't..... yes thats because it's not there, to slow, weak in the tackle offers no cover for whoever plays in the middle with him and constantly just let's people run off him!!! I will probably get shot down but if he was a no name we snapped up from Italy he wouldn't get half the love in he gets he'd be getting hammered
theessexfox Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Schwarzer - 6 Simpson - 5 - Poor Morgan - 5 Wasilewski - 6 Konchesky - 6 Mahrez - 7 - Superb first half, took the p out of Zaha James - 6 - Best midfielder we have Cambiasso - 6 Schlupp - 4 Nugent - 6 - No coincidence we create so much with him on but needs to finish Ulloa - 2 - Woeful touch Albrighton - 5 Kramaric - 5 Vardy - 6 Pearson - 6 - Didn't do much wrong (who picks teams based on transfer fees?) Palace - 6 - Did what they had to do, started well then looked vulnerable Ref - 3 - Poor
Leicesterpool Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Simpson had a stinker today, I thought he may have gone off at half time he was that bad, Zaha was running rings round him. Most of the team I gave a six as you can't fault the effort today, the team were just unlucky once again. Man Of The Match was difficult as nobody really stood out, though If I had to give it to somebody I'd give it to Wasilewski as I thought once again he didn't put a foot wrong and looked solid.
Claridge Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Schwarzer - 6 Simpson - 5 - Poor Morgan - 5 Wasilewski - 6 Konchesky - 6 Mahrez - 7 - Superb first half, took the p out of Zaha James - 6 - Best midfielder we have Cambiasso - 6 Schlupp - 4 Nugent - 6 - No coincidence we create so much with him on but needs to finish Ulloa - 2 - Woeful touch Albrighton - 5 Kramaric - 5 Vardy - 6 Pearson - 6 - Didn't do much wrong (who picks teams based on transfer fees?) Palace - 6 - Did what they had to do, started well then looked vulnerable Ref - 3 - Poor James being the best midfielder we have is why we are bottom of the league. Creates nothing most games
theessexfox Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 James being the best midfielder we have is why we are bottom of the league. Creates nothing most games Since when was the role of a CM predominantly to create? He always looks for the ball, keeps it ticking over, is strong and clever, he's a very good player imo. Stepped up far better than Drinky.
Spicer Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Mark-6 Simpson-4 Was-5 Morgan-5 Konch-4 Mahrez-5 James-6 Cambiasso-6 Schlupp-6 Nugent-5 Ulloa-4 All subs-6 Both our full backs got torn apart today. The CB's both made mistakes. I thought Mahrez didn't do much, on the other wing Schlupp looked like he didn't want to be there(maybe he pissed not being at the Africa Cup of Nations as Ghana are in the final). James and Cambiasso were decent in midfield. Nugent should of scored and was unlucky hitting the post, but he had two golden opportunities and screwed them up, the stupid chip thing he did, and when he went round the keeper he was to slow and wasted the opportunity. Ulloa was the worst player on the pitch.
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Schwarzer - 7 - MUCH improved distribution on that awful Hamer. Good on crosses. Solid and like hm. Simpson - 2 - awful shocking performance. struggles to control the ball and gets scared when put under any sort of pressure. doesn't get forward. not solid at the back. Horrible. I'd releasehim just based on today Wes - 4 - not the sort of guy you can trust in the PL.Committed and thats the best you can say. Was - 5 - Best of the defenders. Not saying much. Left exposed by others Konch - 4 - OK defensively but his passing is woeful and so one footed Mahrez - 8 - Yeah, good and inventive performance, pacy and direct. Can get to the byline as well as cutting in which is nice. Cambiasso - 6 - So lightweight these days. His 1 touch passing and spreading play wide is good James - 7 - As usual pick of the midfielders, but just has too much to do with those around him. Asking him to be our creative force as well as keeping possession and shielding the back four is a joke, poor guy. Schlupp - 3 - touch of a rapist. I'll never be convinced by him Nugent - 6 - Good linking up and is always lively. Let down by being too one footed and lacking composure Ulloa - 3 - Can;t control a ball, hold up play and needs too many touches. I've been saying this for months and getting criticised and I'm the one who is right. Play Kram with Nuge please. Subs: Albrighton - 5 Too lightweight to stamp himself on a game. When the team are on top he is useful, not so much chasing a game Kramaric - 6 Has quality clear to see. Needs to get used to PL style, at the moment he is a bit predictable Vardy 5 - bursts of pace useful but didn't really do much apart from shooting from a tight angle when he should have pulled it back Pearson - 7 - got the right team and tactics. Played Cambs and James which was right. Encourages passing football. Piled attacking players on. We're just not good enough - what more can the poor bloke do? Palace - 4 - good on the break otherwise mediocre. Expected more. Mason - 2 - had no control from start to finish, made questionable decisions both for and against us, almost at random
Silverdaz Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Cant believe Cambiasso is getting a high rating especially after that change Nugent served up to him on a plate but han on its Cambiasso so he cant do any wrong
