iamafox Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Really don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing. If we had sacked Pearson earlier in the season I would have said the former. Yesterday I said I had resigned myself to relegation, without the retrospective knowledge of what has transpired just now. I'm still not convinced that we will stay up anyway, unless we see an unlikely miracle. We'll be stuck with the same players for the rest of the season with the transfer window closed. The interesting thing for me is who do we bring in next? How will the players respond? I'm concerned that their heads will drop, so we need to bring in someone who will give them a kick up their backsides.
seenitall Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Too little too late but at last a step forward...get a grip Pearsonites, this is well overdue
Fox92 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 its the right decision Tom, we are still Leicester City and bigger than the manager But the better alternatives for manager are .... ?
Babylon Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Too little too late but at last a step forward...get a grip Pearsonites, this is well overdueSays the man who said he'd never get us promoted...
Mad Dog Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Horrible decision, and that'll be us out of the top flight for another decade. There is nothing to gain at this stage of the season, and everything to lose. Gutted.
Guest Col city fan Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Says the man who said he'd never get us promoted... Sounds like sour grapes. He's hardly bathed himself in glory this season has he. True though, SenItall hardly gives a balanced view on things.
seenitall Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Says the man who said he'd never get us promoted... Well he fluked that after four seasons but let's face it, to what end if we were going straight back down - Darlington beckons for him and good riddance - time for the blues to get someone of stature
harpendenfox Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Where is Mr Random Silly when we need him? Jeff?
jock2612 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Not an NP fan but timing is odd just after the transfer window unless the club have a someone in mind and have to move fast (Sherwood????) I think mistakes were made in the summer but how much was NP and how much was the DOF we will never know.I thought the club,by sacking Robinson, had decided in favor of NP.There is no doubt he has led the club back from the brink but the owners have given the club vast amounts of money and a secure long term future and it is in them i trust. Lets not forget they remained faithful to NP even when receiving abuse from club sponsors. The club is always bigger than an individual.
seenitall Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 I still maintain that had we got someone decent after Sven then we could have gone up a lot sooner and better equipped - the four year contracts and giving his lads a chance at this level showed him for what he was, not up to it.
Foxylady64 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 But the better alternatives for manager are .... ?how about Tim Sherwood?
Webbo Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 how about Tim Sherwood? He's going to QPR isn't he?
Foxylady64 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 He's going to QPR isn't he?not official though is it
TheUltimateWinner Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Awful timing, awful decision, he's been questionable at times, but even I would have stuck with him until the end of the season. Any change now is only going to have a negative set on players who loved playing under their previous manager.
skmanuk Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 If the owners seriously sacked Pearson for 1) Telling a rude **** of a fan to **** off, and 2) having a laugh with MacArthur (laughing,) then our owners are deluded. It's you who are deluded, the guy was off his trolley!
Leicester_Loyal Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 I still maintain that had we got someone decent after Sven then we could have gone up a lot sooner and better equipped - the four year contracts and giving his lads a chance at this level showed him for what he was, not up to it. You're embarrassing, really embarrassing.
Lets Be having You Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 I have supported city for 42 years I have seen fans throw stuff at mangers shout obscenities at them and throw things at them but none of those managers told a supporter to **** of and die, even if he was out of order for what he shouted at Pearson. 9th from a possible 57 is a disgrace. grabbing an player round the neck even if it was a joke and then not letting him get back on the pitch grabbing at his sleeve is a disgrace. then is interview after the game was bizzare quote i know i how to look after myself. i don't think the owners had any other option i wish him well and thank him for his hard work he did to get us back to the promised land. but unfortunately he seemed out of his depth and i fear for his health with the pressure, he had obviously lost the plot

gazzer Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 excellent if true!! now the healing can begin . . .
ousefox Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 http://i.instagram.com/p/nQ8A3hSkZO/?modal=true Seeing that proper depressed me
The Doctor Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 ****, this will give stringer a way back into the club won't it?
Babylon Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Sounds like sour grapes. He's hardly bathed himself in glory this season has he. True though, SenItall hardly gives a balanced view on things. It sounds like someone pointing out that he has been wrong over and over again. As the old saying goes a broken clock is right twice a day, inevitable Pearson would go at some point.
Guest LCFC_World Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 The stories of something kicking off after the game are the only thing that makes sense. And in the tunnel cam video they only showed before the game...
