cambridgefox Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 I'm just worried James Pearson might leave as wellBrilliant.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Someone start a poll. Right decision or not?YesI meant the poll
Fox92 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Does slaven bilic manage anyone? Besiktas, I believe.
EGBFitness Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Gotta say I'm a little shocked with the timing of his sacking. Being bottom of the league and constantly being reminded of 'fine margins' was wearing thin but with only 4 points away from safety and giving him the transfer window, this announcement seems a little odd. Would like to hear the real reason for sacking and hope club don't announce a standard statement with no info- was it the McCarthy incident? Poor Team/Tactics, Somethinf happened behind scenes or has the owners got someone else in line? Personally would love to see MON back even on deal till end of season. Hope we don't get someone in like Warnock who will wreck the team/club
Deucalion Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 He doesn't seem like a man to give up. He walked out before when he felt he wasn't wanted.
ADK Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Radio 5 reckon he walked out. Going to QPR or Newcastle?
FremantleFox Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Have a read of SydenhamFox at 7.05pm. Good post, pretty much got it in a nutshell.'Legend' has become a term used too easily these days. Pearson is not a LCFC legend, he's been a very good manager for this club, up to a certain level. Promotion from L1 was not difficult and if you remember was helped a lot by Manderic's backing - allowing Pearson to keep any of the championship players he wanted and not just sell them off (yes, we were awful during the relegation year, granted). The Championship campaigns under Pearson we sometimes very good and sometimes pretty ordinary.Since the summer, unfortunately Pearson has shown his hand in two damaging ways; a) his player recruitment has been poor (we needed 4 or 5 key signings to strengthen areas of the team that you could anticipate would be lacking at Prem level - and he just didn't do this in the summer and b) he didn't learn and develop as a Prem manager during the course of the season. It was all a bit samey and easy for the opposition to get the better of us.Personally, I think the more we struggled, the more he seemed to want to give off this macho bravado, demonstrated in his rather pointless and foolish display with the Palace player on Sat. That moment, summed it up, as did his completely unneccesary refusal to communicate with our local radio station. Whatever you might think about the RL presenters etc, as a manager, you have a professional duty to work with local media to communicate with fans. This is just standard in modern sport, in an age of social media and 24 hour coverage. His actions penalised the fans, not the radio station.Martin O'Neill can be classed as a legend here. He did not build a team that lumbered at the bottom of the Prem after he got us promoted, far from it. Jimmy Bloomfield, another possible candidate for this accolade given the fantastic side he put together here. Arthur Rowley, absolutely a legend . . . and so on. Nigel Pearson?? No.
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Going to QPR or Newcastle? Can you imagine Pearson in a job where can't sign who he wants or has to put up with interference in team selection?
MattGamble92 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Welcome to the Leicester circus. Reopening after the 2008 closure

No. Pearson is a legend. As far as I am concerned, this squad has far more potential than any in the O'Neill era. We just needed time.
The Doctor Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Fairwell prem and roll on league one and another decade of shite...
SMX11 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 He walked out before when he felt he wasn't wanted. He felt undermined, i assume most would leave in those circumstances.
Deucalion Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Radio 5 report that Pearson left YESTERDAY after having a meltdown post-match.
Buzzell Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Gutted that we will now have to get rid of the Pearson smiley's.
Foxylady64 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Pearson is a legend. As far as I am concerned, this squad has far more potential than any in the O'Neill era. We just needed time. time......we can't extend the season just for Pearson
Pst Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 BOLLOCKS! So they only played for Pearson, and not the club? Are you on drugs? Pathetic twerp. What a twat you are.
inckley fox Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Pearson is a legend. As far as I am concerned, this squad has far more potential than any in the O'Neill era. We just needed time. You repeatedly undermine the whole pro-Pearson argument with nonsense like this.
MC Prussian Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Still haven't read any news article confirming this. As it stands, it's merely a rumour. Right? Personally, I hope it's a very sick joke. Regardless of where we are now, we can still push for a decent finish. The timing of this sacking would be horrific. Which manager can turn it around in this short period of time? Whom have the owners lined up then? Who realistically would want to come here? So, still counting the minutes and hours until this story is debunked...
KFS Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Radio 5 report that Pearson left YESTERDAY after having a meltdown post-match. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha omg
breadandcheesebrother Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Has there been confirmation from the club? (Yes I'm in denial).
stuartn27 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Legand think that's way over the top He was good at the lower levels Premier league not upto it
