Grewks Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Im not though am I? Falling out with fans, falling out with the local radio station and now a touchline wrestling match with a player. The pressure got to him... he was unstable! Whether you like it or not, he was doing more harm to the club than good, both on the field and image wise. I agree he has been superb for us in the past, but you cant keep riding on those successes forever! Crying about it wont change anything! Falling out with fans? You mean Fan..no plural. Local radio station? All the players should be sacked as well then? Touchline wrestling? He was having a joke with him FFS!

I agree he has been superb for us in the past, but you cant keep riding on those successes forever! Crying about it wont change anything! Oh give me a break, unstable? Told a fan who'd been giving him disgusting personal abuse for god knows how long to **** off (rightly so). Falling out with a talentless tosser of a radio host who'd been craving his sacking for months, and a bit of a daft wrestle with a player that had bundled him over. Jesus what is football coming to in this country.
Simmo86 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Woeful decision. Gutted Thanks for everything Nige.
Guest Col city fan Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Thinking about it and hand on heart, I'm actually quite relieved really. I just hope we can get in the right man to play according to some set system. A philosophy if you like. Most of us who have cared to look (apologies to Mark w and Matt P) have realised that our tactical selections and team choices have been all over the bloody place this season. Hopefully now we can adopt a style of play that suits this tough division and can get the players playing it. I still think it's funny timing though. If it was going to happen it should have been around Christmas time. Being a City fan is never dull.
Master Fox Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Judging by everyone's comments, it's clearly the best thing to do. The majority of our fans are wrong on just about everything. Signs are promising. Southampton sacked Adkins in similar fashion.
Happy Fox Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Did not expect that! Well I wish NP well plenty of championship clubs would consider him as their manager, lets hope the Thais appoint someone that can keep us up.
Grewks Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Remember. We haven't just lost Pearson. We've lost the entire setup. Just the players left now......****ing stupid decision.
kingfox Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 When it comes to the Premier League then past success is irrelevant, if you don't deliver your manager is either getting sacked, your teams getting relegated or both. Thousands & thousands of fans will be gutted, but that's the way football is, owners stated their plans while in the Premier League, and Pearson hasn't delivered them.
MooseBreath Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 blatant mistakes like what The diamond formation. Not playing Mahrez for substantial periods early in our bad run. Playing strikers on the wing. Ulloa off Albrighton on. Not buying a new left back. Not buying a new left winger. Constantly chopping and changing the midfield partnership. Abusing fans. Strangling opposition players. Just off the top of my head.

Guest Cujek Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 http://news.ladbrokes.com/betting/next-leicester-city-manager-odds I hope this is a joke, please Thai's no more clown managers.
yorkie1999 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Who will do the picking? They don't have the knowledge of football to make a decision. Director of football has gone, so they will need advice. They'l ask Pearson who he thinks the next manager should be, while they're handing over his 2million quid compo cheque.
Grewks Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 I honestly bet the forest fans are gutted.... If they had waited a few more days they would of had an excellent manager.
Monsell1976 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 I'm lost... why give him January and then sack him soon after ? strange decision indeed, this gives us much less chance of survival nowCan they sack him for free for miss conduct?, I don't know, right decision for me, to late though
richard80014 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 No, I stopped reading after I saw "Pearsonite" as I knew it was going to be some boring drivel about how anyone who wasn't frothing at the mouth for him to be sacked was someone who blindly followed everything he did without thinking that he made some terrible mistakes this season (which he definitely did) You have correctly described all the Pearson lovers and their attitudes. He is no longer a LCFC manager so he is in the past. Come on now and support your club if you claim to be a real fan. Will you all now stop birating our great club and get behind the new manager - I doubt it
foxinsox Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Goodbye Nigel. I wish you well in your next job. It was inevitable though after recent results.

ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Gutted to see it end like this, stupid timing as well!
FoxyPalace.com Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 blatant mistakes like what Losing every game!
Kierzz Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 I'm just worried James Pearson might leave as well

He was so slow to adapt... yet this was clear months ago and I though the Thais were going to give him time to improve and become a better manager - there must have been a tiff (re macarthur? Kramich)... I wonder if they have a plan B even? worst of it is stringer is still in his job!

I find it amazing that our fans have such a low opinion of our club and their expectations are so low that the loss of ONE MAN and it appears it is the end of the world.. perhaps in there lies the seeds of our failure this season.
