Nigel Pearson remains First Team Manager

Rob Dorsett just tweeter: #lcfc statement confirms Pearson will take charge of team at Arsenal. There was board level discussion over his future, but now some clarity

Can we believe anything he says?

The club have come out and stated they isn't any foundation to the reports, this means he is just trying to make himself not look like a complete idiot... so coming up with some other bollocks ...

Absolutely elated with the news! What a roller coaster of an evening!  :nigel:

Nigel, the owners, and the players are all learning at this level (it's just as new to them as it is to a lot of our fans).  If we stay up great, if not then we go again next year where I have complete and utter faith that the staff will have learnt from their mistakes.

COME ON YOU FOXES!!!  :scarf:

he's had an absolute mare. Pearson's smoked out the snakes and now we can get a siege mentality and stay up

It seems like Pearson has had the dreaded vote of confidence. He is hanging onto his job by a thread.

This story would have never originated if that wasnt the case.

This seems to point to the source of the rumours being pretty close to the man himself. There does seem to have been a bit more to this than just a bit of a mistake by Sky.

Members of Pearson’s staff had been informed that he had left the club, 24 hours after he grabbed Crystal Palace midfielder James McArthur by the throat.

4 points from safety with 42 left to play for.

If we finish more than 20 points away from safety then maybe I'd agree with you.
