Nigel Pearson remains First Team Manager

This 'the fans are almost unanimously behind him'

I don't know anyone that wants to keep him, only talking about 40 or 50 fans but literally nobody thinks he should stay.

have you been to any games this season?! I'm not talking about what you an a few mates think at the pub, I'm talking about 30k at home games and thousands who travel away making banners singing his name and fully supporting him.

I'd say in pubs or on here it's comfortably pro pearson, and when you go to games you realise it's probably about 99% pro pearson. with good reason.

Conversely, I know no one who wants him to go at the moment, maybe sometime ago or at some point in the future, but now? Bizarre, at best!

What does either point prove?

Same, everyone I physically speak to wants him to stay. As do I (though thats not cut and dry)

But what if I base my opinions on some knobend callers to a joke of a local radio station and a clown who they employ, who's not even up to his own job never mind discussing someone else's

Why can't "Pearson haters" and "pearsonites" come together and form a formidable Leicester city fanbase? Rather than arguing amongst ourselves? Thats what other teams fans are for!

Pearson makes mistakes, Pearson got us here. Ones things for sure, when he does go Leicester city will still be here and we will all still be Leicester city fans.

I go to games, 7 of us sit together and all of us want him gone. Other people we know and talk to in the symphony rooms want him gone.

All those I know personally on Bentleys want him gone.

I know we're in a minority but there seemed to be a few more on here who wanted him gone post Palace.

It certainly isn't 99% at games.

That's probably the least surprising thing I've ever read on FT

No surprise but doesn't change the fact that I don't know anyone personally who wants him to stay. There are posters on BR who want him to stay as there are some on here who want him gone.

**** off and die

What does this man have to do before this Forum will sit up and take note. His team selections are poor. The team don't have a clue to how they should be playing. The 'plan' and how we are playing is clearly changing game to game. The football we are playing is average at best...

If we were 'unlucky' as I keep being told we would be putting in better performances than I've sat and watched. Blindly following someone who can't even manage himself with credibility is stupid!

If you lot want to support a championship side why don't you trundle up the M1 to the Forest!!! Because I know for one I'm fed up watching and listening to this manager do nothing more than trundle through the months until we end up back at square one!!!

Don't you think he deserves more time given he got us here after picking us up at our lowest point? Would the new manager have meant Cambiasso hit the ball first time on Saturday?

For about the 1000 time, he is not that type of players. We've been told this over and over and over again by fans who have seen him play regularly. He drops deep and wide to involve himself in play, he's not a sit on the shoulder and hang around the box for 90 minutes type player.

But that position is on the pitch, not the bench.

Why do people assume that changing our manager of 3 and a bit years would lead to chopping and changing managers constantly? That is a blind assumption with no reasoning. What if we employed a good manager who went on to do a good job?

We did that with Pearson when some people thought we should have kept Holloway. We can't just keep Pearson until he dies of old age because we've appointed some crap managers in the past.

Time..... LMFAO....... We have 3 months left of the season... If we were a couple off the bottom and a point here or there then yes BUT we are only still in this race because the teams around us are shit not because we are picking points up!

I'd forgot we'd list to villa and Liverpool this year

Off to #LCFC to see Pearson. As reported in today's @DailyMirror he remains in charge but club have considered other options so on thin ice

No shit.  I would disappointed if they had not.

I wonder if they'd already sounded someone out who was interested, then when it came down to it... they turned us down, so the board had to quickly reverse the wheels they'd set in motion

I am completely torn about this, on the one side I love Nige and he has done so much for this football club. If he left would key players also move on? We have to realistically expect relegation and he has proven he can get us out of the championship (in some style!).

The other half of me is saying he looks out of depth in this league, overthinking lineups and not making changes when required - seriously what is up with the guaranteed 65th minute sub? Starting Kram on the bench was mind boggling at home versus a team we could beat. A big part of the reason we were so good last year was the consistency in the side, this year every week he seems to tinker with the lineup. After 24 games how can he not know his best team?!

It does seem people are happy to be relegated if it means Pearson stays in charge.

Not happy to go down but who available will keep this team up now.
