Guest Col city fan Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 After a bizarre night where so many seemingly took the news of Nigel not being sacked with the same rapture as they would the birth of their first child, let's get back to the football. Will the off - field joy mirror the performance tomorrow? I'm going 4-0 to the Gunners. Cmon. .Let's have it....
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 I think it'll be the first time we are thrashed, or the first comfortable win (2-0 up and see the game out).
kingcarr21 Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 After defeat against Spurs Wenger will want Arsenal to come back with a bang. I cant see anything other than an Arsenal win. 3-0
lgfualol Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 3-1 to the Gooners Ozil, Cazorla (pen) and Giroud (header). Cambiasso with ours. Nigel to strangle Ozil and make his eyes more froggy.
LCCFox96 Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 We will probably lose but I want the team to put in a fighting performance, scrap for everything, battle for each 50:50, drive forward in attack as a show of faith in the manager that started them. Same from the fans, another loud and rocking away end! Even if we knick a point down there, in light of recent form and results, that'll do very nicely indeed!
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Similar game to Utd, or we'll hold out for good forty-sixty mins before cracking. Won't lose by more than three. I'll say 3-1/0 to them
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 With all the guff that has gone on recently it's time to take stock and once again firmly get behind the lads (and manager). Hoping for a win obviously, however I really do fear the worst so going to guess at 4-1 to Arsenal
One Legged Beaver Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 3-0 down at half time. Then Nige performs his signature move of being reborn out of the ashes and we win the game 3-6. (I reckon we'll lose 5-0)
Silverdaz Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 2 -1 City with Huth scoring on his debut after maiming Giroud as well
suffolk fox Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Last nights bizarre events to have the desired effect in de stabilizing the club 5 0 them
Socks Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 4 or 5 nil to the Gunners easy. They will batter us like they battered villa we're going down
cc_star Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 I think off the back of their Spurs defeat they'll be the first team this season to hand us a thrashing and Arsenal will win by 3+ goals I don't think we can read to much into it... happens to many teams throughout the season, even Chelsea, Man Utd and Arsenal themselves The following games I think we'll get something from

The Pearson out brigade were just as elated when they thought he was gone.2-0 Gooners
kingcarr21 Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Im interested to see what formations people would go for. Now Huth is available and i also believe Upson is available do we go with 5 at the back and try and hit Arsenal on the counter? Schwarzer De Laet Was Huth Wes Konch Mahrez Cambiasso Schluup Kramaric Ulloa Or would the pace of Vardy be better? The way hes played this season id sooner stick to playing Kramaric and Ulloa and use Vardy/Nuge as sub. When Kramaric came on against Palace you can see in his quick pass and movement he is different class to Nuge/Vardy. Perhaps 5-3-2 leaves us well short in midfield. Arsenals midfield would lay siege on us so maybe a 4-5-1/4-1-4-1 of Schwarzer Simpson Was Wes Konch Hammond Mahrez James Cambiasso Schluup Kramaric Now ive wrote it down i quite like the look of a 4-1-4-1 away at Arsenal. Depends which way you want to play it. Do we play Mahrez and Schluup who like to cut inside and would feed Kramaric or do we play Ulloa up top and perhaps play Albrighton instead of Mahrez and tell Schluup to attack the wing more. Either way it will be a very difficult game as i fear a backlash and will still stick to my 3-0 Arsenal prediction. But with all thats happened over the weekend it may galvanise the team and pull off a shock result. It wouldnt surprise me one bit if we lose Pearson gets sacked after the farce over the weekend.
Socks Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Schwarzer Simpson Was HUTH DE LAET Hammond Mahrez James Cambiasso Schluup Kramaric As per Kingcarr21s set up apart from 2 changes, they are going to come at us fast down the right
Max Power Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 They'll be smarting after saturday and we're the worst team in the league. 3 or 4-0, maybe more if BIG NIGE plays 2 in midfield.
Benguin Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 ...............Hamer................... .....Huth...Wasyl...Upson......... ..RDL.....................Konchesky .......Cambiasso...James....... ..Albrighton................Mahrez.. .................Kramaric................
