AKCJ Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 He's a giant sack of shit. Only the 9 goals this season. Awful.
ADK Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 I don't think you can blame the fans when we play like that. We were crap. Pearson had a mare.

cjslcfc Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 yeah because he tells them to misplace passes doesnt he. He does, however, put them in a formation where attacking options are limited and technically poor players are forced to try and play their way out of trouble. Both are to blame. Pearson set us up completely wrongly today and the players also massively under-performed
Dan Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Genuinely cannot wait for this season to end now. Bored of it. Same old building your hopes up to shoot them down. Pathetic, disgusting performance. Villa were shit and we were shitter. Thoroughly embarrassed.
Bayfox Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 abject. not sure I can say much more. if we go down. I wanted to go down with an fa cup final appearance to go with it. I really can't make my mind up if as a team we are just that little bit short. or if pearson really is to blame. for example. kasper delaet morgan drinkwater king vardy nuge to mention a few just not stepped up. I genuinely believe they aren't good enough. that said pearson should have known. or learnt really quickly.

No desire or passion.. Disgusting!!!!!
cjslcfc Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Mahrez played like a player who knows he's on his way out in the summer.. No desire or passion.. Disgusting!!!!! I dunno about that. He's still young and inconsistent. He was phenomenal vs. Palace and on Tuesday. One thing about him is he throws in one of these performances every now and again. Still the club's best and most talented player at this time.
Silverdaz Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Disappointed, the best chance we've had to win the cup for a while! The whole team performance was poor and the decision making from Pearson was worse! At least Kramaric scored win the cup with Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool still in it right Ill have some of what you are on mate
Sunbury Fox Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 I think having the 3 CBs is not the problem. O'Neill played it for years with great success. With the right wing backs it can actually be an attacking formation. The problem is Pearson's choice of full backs. He should be deploying Schlupp and RDL, not the ageing Konch and the utterly useless QPR reject (which says all you need to know). The other problem today was that it was 3v2 in midfield. And Villa, unlike Arsenal, used one of those midfielders (Delph) as a second marker on Mahrez, which left us with zero creativity. I'd try this v Everton: Hamer Was Huth Upson RDL James Drinky Cambi Schlupp Mahrez Kram

ADK Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 yeah because he tells them to misplace passes doesnt he. A good manager needs to be able to react and change the outcome of a match. It's like being dealt a bad hand in poker. That's not your fault, but if you play every hand correctly you may well win the game. We were well on top in the first half yet for some reason we went to pieces in the second half and were being dominated. The manager needed to make changes. Our right-hand side (Simpson and Mahrez) were weak for the entire match and a decent manager would have made a change early in the second half and brought on Liam Moore at right back or Marc Albrighton in place of Mahrez. Instead he changes to a 4-4-2 which was pointless because there is no point in an extra striker when you aren't able to move the ball forward. At the same time it means the opposition are only more likely to find space and convert their domination into a goal, which sure enough is what happened. It wasn't surprising that Simpson had a mare for their goal as he was consistently shit for the entire game. Schwarzer made another error in the goal, again this wasn't bad luck on the part of the manager as he's proven he's rubbish in goal.
hackneyfox Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 I know I sound like a broken record but ffs the majority of our fans are pathetic.Whinging and moaning about this and that. How about getting behind the team, that 2nd half was embarrassing considering our numbers today. I'd agree that the second half was pathetic but I'm talking about the team and Pearson's reaction, or lack of, to that performance.
st albans fox Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Delph was tasked with doubling up on mahrez. A decent tactician would have made things difficult by making jeff swap wings with RM. Then Delph would have had to play on the wrong side for him. Maybe not all the time but change back and forth when the game goes dead. Give them something to think about!!! Was just too easy for a side so low on confidence. and when they changed their tactics at half time, we didn't respond with intelligence. I presume that's what bothers most on here. A lack of tactical nouse once the game is underway.

Schwarzer's mistake is Pearson's fault? Have a word ffs.
LJS Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Schwarzer's error today might not have been Pearson's fault directly, but picking him after the cock ups he has already made in his short time with us certainly is.
eastendfox Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 I'd agree that if you play 5 at the back, RDL and Schlupp are the best bets for wing backs. Not sure about Drinkwater, as I feel the team does better with Hammond in it, which I would never have said before this season, and the real issue for me is that Kramaric looks too lightweight to play up front on him own. Basically though I think we lack sufficient quality going forward regardless of who plays - we just can't keep the ball in too many games, and the second half today was utterly shocking.
VLC86 Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Until we drop Morgan were going nowhere fast If you forget that down isn't anywhere then yep, true.
ADK Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Sorry, but you're talking utter shite. Schwarzer's mistake is Pearson's fault? Have a word ffs. You don't think a manager shares some of the fault for picking and persisting with poor players?

Harry - LCFC Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 win the cup with Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool still in it right Ill have some of what you are on mate
chicagofox Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Can somebody please tell me. What exactly are Pearson's good points?
Donut Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Sorry, but you're talking utter shite. Schwarzer's mistake is Pearson's fault? Have a word ffs. Who bought him and picked him? Yeah.
chicagofox Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Schwarzer's mistake was not Pearson's fault. The fact that he was on the pitch to make that mistake was entirely Pearson's fault. Nobody else picked the team.
