LCFCSOULBOY Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 After today's game at Villa I cannot imagine there can be no more defenders for his managerial tactics. If Little Owner does not want to sack him, then should he be Man enough to resign? Instead of slagging me off for this question. Please take the time to compose your slagging to make it a little more thoughtful.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Would you want to resign if you were in his position? Tactics today inexcusable but what he has built off the field as well as on it over a considerable time period isn't something I'd (nor he, I'd expect) walk away from easily. I'm still "Pearson in" but today has ****ed me off, considerably.
johnny the fox Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 In any major job or industry the man in charge should not be learning on the job.. he failed to motivate his employee's today against a makeshift man in the opposite dugout. he sounded like a broken record in his interview.. but had no constructive answers Im afraid.. but the owners want him.... so that's good enough for me...
Haydos Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Why would he? Only someone gutless with no faith in their own ability would resign in his position. Absolutely no reason to.
GaelicFox Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Waiting for the pay cheque And why not everyone else does
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Of course he won't resign, getting sacked would be much more beneficial financially!
kingfox Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Hopefully he falls off his bike and requires knee surgery like Redknapp.

okie fox Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Pearson won't resign, he got a new contract last summer.
LCFCSOULBOY Posted 15 February 2015 Author Posted 15 February 2015 Glad to see some still have a sense of humour
ronnup Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 I think after last year he at least deserves his pay off.
Stadt Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Pearson is proud of what he's done here, he's totally turned the club around, why would he walk away?
sulfoxide Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Look at what Tim Sherwood achieved for Villa at half time. Just think what he could have done for us over a few weeks/months
LCFCSOULBOY Posted 15 February 2015 Author Posted 15 February 2015 Still can't understand how he has defenders after today. The defenders on here should be kitted up and sent out on the field. Couldn't do any worse. Oh but wait. I bet they would play just has bad after they get their woeful tactics
hackneyfox Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Pearson is proud of what he's done here, he's totally turned the club around, why would he walk away? He turned the club around and now he's turned it round again. we're back where we were before with a major rebuild of the side needed.
the-blue-wildabeast Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Far to stubborn, but for me should after a full apology for this seasons shambled.

Please take the time to compose your slagging to make it a little more thoughtful. The formation worked against Arsenal and we're facing similarly tough opposition the next few weeks. He may have used the game today to get the same players to get more used to that formation, knowing full well it might not be the best suited tactic against Villa. Then again, we've played Villa twice this season and not looked better than them, so what harm was there in trying something different? Surely his approach shows that he is trying what he can to gain an advantage, and today it didn't pay off like it did against Arsenal. He makes the change with Ulloa and bang we concede. It's a lose-lose situation for him. He made a positive change and got punished. Should he have kept the back five? If he did and we held out in a drab draw, he would have been flamed as well.

Pen 3 Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 i doubt he could do that to PL standard, would probably end up in a "friendly" tussle with the CEO and Chairman as he handed it in. On the way out he'd gurn like he always does, rescind it, look at the assembled press pack and say "don't worry about me, I can look after myself" as he jumps into the owner's 'copter enroute to that nice restaurant in Ludlow....god we were crap today!
Stadt Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 He turned the club around and now he's turned it round again. we're back where we were before with a major rebuild of the side needed. What a mid table championship side with shit, overpaid championship players? No mate.
