tom27111 Posted 17 February 2015 Posted 17 February 2015 If Jeff Schlupp knows what hit him on Sunday after that tackle? "What the hell, did I just get laid?"
StanSP Posted 17 February 2015 Posted 17 February 2015 It took you 2 days to think of that? Sign out mate.
Richard Posted 17 February 2015 Posted 17 February 2015 https://vine.co/v/OPVmYiJ7WW3 obviously that cvnt Clark was involved
Dan Posted 17 February 2015 Posted 17 February 2015 I'm sure the ref would've waved play on if we'd done that to one of their players. Surely that's excessive force?
tom27111 Posted 17 February 2015 Author Posted 17 February 2015 It took you 2 days to think of that? Sign out mate. That's the irony, It's probably taken him two days to work out what happened xxx
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 I don't know who I want to turn up in the obituaries first, Clark or Hutton. Both massive pieces of shit.
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 Anyone who argues that that is anything but a great challenge is why football is soft as shit these days.
Guest Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 Great challenge. Been impressed by Clark a lot in the games we've played against them. Fully committed player. Reckon he'd be worshiped here.
AKCJ Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 In all seriousness it's one of them where he gets 2% of the ball and 98% the player. Clark has played the man, using excessive force. It's a foul, despite what it was like "in the old days". Pretty cowardly challenge too. He's not even looking where he's going. Fair play to Schlupp for not reacting, i'd have been furious.

ozleicester Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 That is one solid tackle, im in two minds about it. If our lads had done it a few times this season, we might not be where we are. actually no, fvck it.. no two minds, thats a blinder of a tackle, fully committed, eyes on and wins the ball, and its near halfway, so if things didnt work out, not a goalscoring opportunity. Great tackle.
19ninety9 Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 It was just nice to see a player on the end of a good tackle and not milk a penalty, Commentators even mentioned the fact Shlupp just got up and kept running.. respect
tom27111 Posted 18 February 2015 Author Posted 18 February 2015 Jeff still is'nt quite sure what hit him................
tom27111 Posted 18 February 2015 Author Posted 18 February 2015 Exactly. I love Jeff, but **** me.....................
CosbehFox Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 I went nuts at it. Simply for the inconsistence, James sent off for a 50/50 challenge. Not even a dickie bird about a dangerous tackle.
st albans fox Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 James only sent off for the reaction of their players. It isn't their fault that we are soooooo naive at this level. You may not like that kind of behaviour but if we fall short by a point and villa are a place above us, that James sending off could be the reason. No surprise to me that Riyad was quiet after Delph got at him a few times early on and jeff probably took some time to get over that challenge too. we should get used to the lesser teams taking a more physical approach out wide, after seeing that game. Maybe that offers an insight into how Riyad would get on if he was played more centrally where things are a bit more feisty.
TOMBlcfc Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 I can't comment on whether it was fair or not as i have the strong opinion that Clark is an utter twat
Bamba's Babes Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 It was a beautiful tackle. I had no problem with it. Football needs more of that.
Carl the Llama Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 Looks like he goes over the ball, gets the player, then catches the ball with his trailing leg. If so that's a foul surely?

Watch some Graeme Souness tackles if you think that's excessive. The game has well and truly gone soft.
Callabinho Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 It's a good old fashioned ball and man tackle, however I'm very surprised he let it go in this day and age, would have definitely been a foul at the KP, possibly more too.
Soar Fox Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 Did Schlupp's brain fall out at the same time? Don't think he had one before.
