GK - Buce, fill the goal.

RB - Finnegan, the Japanese school girl supporters are located in that area of the ground. Thank me later pal.

LB - Rincewind (captain) (defensive talisman) (throughballs) (NASA) (communicates via poety)

CM - ScouseFox, a serious position needs a serious player who doesn't mess around making funny jokes

CF - ozleicester, needs to be upfront as his defences are often penetrated at the back

It's 5-a-side

I''ll do a 5-a-side of sensible posters:

GK: Col City Fan (as he never gives an inch)

harry LCFC

Mark W

Wookie

Fox92

The Doctor

That's a side you'd definitely set up as contain on FM

I really hope Wookie tracks runners from midfield.

Manager: Alf Bentley - Solid analyst, likeable bloke.

GK: Col - Catches everything first, it's why he always has to quote himself.

RB: MattP - Solid on the right.

CB: Grandad - Tough at the back.

CB: Scousefox - Being from Liverpool I must assume he's also tough.

LB: Oz - Provides flair on the left from the rear.

CDM: Babylon - A steady head to control the middle of the park.
CDM: Finners - Ditto but more likely to wind up opponents.

RW: Una - Would combine well with:
CAM: Wookie - To provide chances for ST
LW: Ken - Most proven left-winger on FT.

ST: Destiny's Child - FT's top scorer.

Subs:

Thracian - Impact sub.

The Doctor - He has a picture of a velociraptor and I like that. cambridgefox - he has the right sort of attitude to fit in with the rest of the squad.

ttfn - So reliable

Matt - Motorbikes are cool.

Mike Oxlong - I don't get to say that often.

Stan - Flair sub.

Webbo - Nice.

Edit: It has come to my attention that The Doctor does not in fact have a picture of a velociraptor.  I am now accepting trials for the final substitute slot.

Ha,I get velociraptors and HL confused.

Now there are several types of subs, ones that are pissed off if they don't get on( not me) or the ones a few rows back that fook about giving each other dead arms and giggling like girls who don't want to play(more like me)

Manager - Thracian, since his squash experience will turn them into a team of world-beaters, but I'd put Finnegan in charge of transfers so we end up with Carlos Fierro rather than Louis Dodds.

GK: MarshallForEngland - steady and a good analyst of keepers.

RB: MC Prussian - reliable poster, not going to pull up trees but a solid rating every time

CB: Babylon - solid poster and good at fighting off morons

CB: Moosebreath - got that tough streak: likely to be sent off regularly for moments of stupidity but could harangue strikers into submission
LB: Facecloth - see Babylon

CDM: Col City Fan - because he won't shut up about this position

RM: Webbo - generally the more considered and cultured version of the right wingers on here

CM: Haydos - very good at finding the balance in arguments, so should be good at linking all areas of the team

LM: Tffn - sensible, reliable defensively but can go on the offensive on occasion

CAM: Ric Flair - you need flair for this position, and he's got it in his name. Also his genius bordering on insanity makes him a perfect maradona clone

ST: Corky - you need someone who's going to cause controversy and problems, and who else but Corky?

Five a side

Sharpes Fox (goes under the radar but he can do surreal and serious with equal skill)

Zingari (tendency to go missing though)

Jonaldinho (must be good with that name)

Me (obviously I want to play)

MarkW (seems lightweight but if the opposition says something about Pearson he'll go flying in, studs showing)

Manager - the Doctor (got to be the most tolerant of failure, we could miss six open goals and he'd still tell us we're getting there!)

Chairman - Baltimore Blue (connections)

Can't play lads (convenient since I've not been picked) having injured an ankle moving a train set table from

conservatory to living room yesterday.

I'll kick back on the physio table and keep picking up my money for nothing. Sweet.

I forgot TPH. He's a grafter, no doubt.

Sorry. Injury is going to keep me out. I'm happy to be the squad member wheeled out to state how together we all are and how hard we are working after the inevitable defeat. I refuse though to state that we are giving anything more than 100% effort - and if I've spotted anyone at less than 100% I will be pointing It out.

There's a few posters that knock around that I think are very good but don't post very often, 21CF and AdamN to name some.
