Guest MarshallForEngland Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 Nice gesture. Would it happen if one of our defenders did this? Stuttgart also bottom of the league.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 I think the manager and players have been supported by the majority throughout the season...
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 Not going on what's on here. But it's no surprise how aggressive and confrontational some people can be with a keyboard in front of them, don't get much of it down the KP.

Easy on here I bet most hide in the corner of there local too. Well if old enough to be in there local lol
lee7 Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 Definitely wouldn't happen! The players never come within 20 yards of the fans at full time.
m4DD0gg Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 More like can you see city players getting that close to the fans....erm nope. Half of them dont give a ****.
Fox92 Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 Players coming over to the fans wouldn't happen.
walkerleeds Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 For all his criticism on here, you've got to say Konchesky consistently applauds the support noticeably more than the others. Good to see.
MooseBreath Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 We wouldn't do that because we're not noncy Europeans.
C-man Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 We wouldn't do that because we're not noncy Europeans. Yep. European fans are renowned for being Class A nonces as opposed to the British replica-wearing, silent-sitting, live-tweeting bundles of masculinity.
cc_star Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 More like can you see city players getting that close to the fans....erm nope. Half of them dont give a ****. More likely payers will get booed while warming up... No wonder they don't give a ****
Monsell1976 Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 I think the manager and players have been supported by the majority throughout the season...This, and would our manager and players mingle with the fans, in a humble way like their players.
MooseBreath Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 Yep. European fans are renowned for being Class A nonces as opposed to the British replica-wearing, silent-sitting, live-tweeting bundles of masculinity. To be honest I haven't even watched the video, just looked at the title and the title image and it looks like they're getting all emotional with the players. Stiff upper lip would dictate that we wouldn't want any of that over here.
Langley Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 I think that the majority of us would have done this with Knockaert at the Watford Play-off game if he came over.
Babylon Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 This, and would our manager and players mingle with the fans, in a humble way like their players. They wouldn't be allowed.... you'd have stewards and health and safety moving them on.
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 To be honest, I think our fans have shown great patience and support to the manager and the team this season given how we've been rooted to the bottom of the table for so long and lost so many games. Would love for us to set the precedent of being loyal to the manager and team and for it to pay off.
Babylon Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 Would love for us to set the precedent of being loyal to the manager and team and for it to pay off. You could say it already has once I suppose!
gerrytaggart Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 No way.....I was the only one who hugged and kissed and held Kermorgant when he needed some love. I regret it now though.
Kitchandro Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 More likely payers will get booed while warming up... No wonder they don't give a **** Here we go, the players are such victims aren't they?
AyewJoking Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 they were possibly his friends/family??? I think if Morgan did the same after scoring the own goal that sent us down our fans would be sympathetic towards him. they definitely wouldnt push him away and tell him to fúck off.
Fox Ulike Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 More like can you see city players getting that close to the fans....erm nope. Half of them dont give a ****. I don't think that's true. I think the players do care about the fans, but unfortunately the club would probably end up in trouble for 'inciting the crowd' if our players did that. It's a great gesture from Stuttgart though, and a real shame that such behaviour is actively discouraged over here. I noticed even this weekend just gone some neon-coated jobsworth pushing John Jo Shelvey away from the Swansea fans as he tried to celebrate the winning goal against Man United with them. I always used to think that the very BEST thing about football games was when a player scored a great goal and then would run to the fans and celebrate with them. I remember Robbie Savage jumping into the Kop end after scoring a goal once... That's a yellow card now. This is by far the most stupid rule in football.
Danno Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 Could never happen in English football as you can't even go near your own fans without some fat old stewart twat pushing you away. What are we going to do stab our own player or something?
Babylon Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 What are we going to do stab our own player or something? Having read this forum I'd be wearing stab vests underneath my shirt if I was them
