Strokes Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 It took this squad 12 months to learn how to win in the championship.Yeah that's how long it takes pal.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 Realistically they are. compared to expectation, of course they are. What's expectation got to do with it? Fact; they are better off than us.
yorkie1999 Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 We don't get atmospheres because we havnt got any rivals. Even the one bit of atmosphere created by the performing monkeys that do a little dance for the away fans to laugh at has stopped.
David Hankey Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 I can never understand why the King Power Stadium was built withe the 'Family Stand' next to the away supporters area. As for Vanilla having a "far worse season than us" I'd prefer to be in their position!!
Fox92 Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 The Holte End is far superior to any part of our ground.

David Hankey Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 to stop crowd trouble. Ah, I knew there was a reason. Obviously, it was nothing to do with putting foul mouthed yobs next to kids.
m4DD0gg Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 You have to remember that villa park is an old school ground and the holte end holds i think 11K. The new bowl type grounds from B&Q are shit in terms of atmosphere.
davieG Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 Leicester City ✔ @OfficialFOXES As a result of fan pressure the North Stand will be renamed the Spion Kop Family Stand.

Countesthorpe Fox 1884 Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 On the flip side it's worked wonders at Derby. would be nice even if the club could trial it for a cup game next year perhaps?
Ashley Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 Personally I believe we should shorten our away end. You know the big access tunnel thing well the barriers that separate the home fans and away fans should be moved to the edge of the tunnel.. away end start there and go round into L Block. Obviously if this happened L Block would be over in the 'kop'. It's worked wonders at Derby. Oh and I'm N/P Block already and in the summer... The sun in your eyes is awful. The club won't have it due to potential trouble reasons too.
LCFC FOX Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 I'm actually jealous of how Derby are right now, they've got one of the best atmospheres in the country at home now. The position of the fans does help
Sharpe's Fox Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 Offset the whole ground 100 metres on a bearing of 240 degrees I say, would improve the atmosphere no end.
blueharmie Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 You lot are stupid. Lcfc don't care a out the fans or who's louder. Been like this for ten odd years. The real days are gone. I saw them. This plastic prawn sarnie atmosphere has killed football. Enjoy the game middle class and sky.
tcrofts Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 Surprised nobody's mentioned this before. What about changing the goal music as well?
Dan Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 would be nice even if the club could trial it for a cup game next year perhaps? Cup games are easier to do anything like that anyway. Don't think it would have the desired effect. The fact you can now go from the Family Stand to the Fanstore at half time means it won't happen anyway. Our ground layout is absolute rubbish and won't change.
Ollie93 Posted 9 March 2015 Posted 9 March 2015 Pretty sure the position of the 'Kop' on every ground is on the South side of the stadium? Due to he term coming from a war in South Africa or something, so that's why it won't change.

Ollie93 Posted 9 March 2015 Posted 9 March 2015 Its the Battle of Spion kop during the boer war. That's the one, so therefore it wouldnt make sense to move it?
Voll Blau Posted 9 March 2015 Posted 9 March 2015 Why should "the club" have to do anything. If people moved there en masse there's nowt they could do. To be honest though, if you need to be stood 30 yards away from someone from a different part of the country to actually sing then it probably says more about you than it does about the stand itself.
cc_star Posted 9 March 2015 Posted 9 March 2015 I'm actually jealous of how Derby are right now, they've got one of the best atmospheres in the country at home now. The position of the fans does help Baseball ground always rocked too Half our ground is full of over-expectant twats, no I'm not on about that we should be expecting more than bottom of the Prem... I'm on about people moaning & overwhelming sense of negativity from some... even during record breaking Championship last season.
SystonFox Posted 9 March 2015 Posted 9 March 2015 Derby have the best home support in the league? Because they renamed a stand? What even???!!?!?! Do they still give free season tickets with mobile phone deals
