Vardinhio Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 I feel sorry for all you guys crying like little girls on here. Yes we should have won and it was a bad result. However, we got at Hull when they went down to ten men, we were bossing the game and going for it. This is the premier league and we are the new kids like QPR and Burnley, guess where they are in the league? Players were working their socks off but it just wasn't happening. If we had won 1-0 then none of you would be on here calling Pearson and his decisions. If Lawrence scores then he's your hero! Football is a game of fine margins and at the moment they are not going our way. For now why not just accept that despite our best efforts it just isn't happening. Collectively we are not good enough, sacking Pearson now will not change that! Take pride that a lot of these players are the same guys you were cheering with only 9 months ago and give them backing until the end of the season.....then we go again! #ficklefans #shortmemories #disloyalsupporters
cullenfox Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Would like to see the back of Pearson right about now. Decisions made this season have been appalling. Can't see him changing his mind-set for the championship.
Guest MarshallForEngland Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 yawn yawn, excuses excuse what about the other teams that have beaten hull at home It takes an unspeakable level of sanctimony to deliver such a shite and irrelevant point with the words 'yawn yawn'. The quality of discussion on here is genuinely awful sometimes. What do you mean 'what about the other teams'? Different days, different pressures, different grounds, different fans, different players, different everything. Probably to do with the fact that Pearson wasn't managing them though right? Honestly, wtf has it got to do with us what other teams have done ainst Hull?
Mike Oxlong Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 We must be the only club not to have got the new manager bounce with Pearson Mark iii

Guest MarshallForEngland Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Some of you need to learn that emoticons don't constitute a cogent argument.
Spicer Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 It wasn't the result today, it was the performance. We played with no tempo or drive, we looked like a team that knows it is relegated.

Guest Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 As depressed as I feel I'd still like to say I've enjoyed the experience and I love Leicester City.

Loyalty has cost us this year. Loyalty to the Manager, and his Loyalty o certain players. Just because you can't see the club for Nige in your eyeline, don't go making judgements on the rest of us. Leicester shouldn't have won today, as you state. We were sh*t. Take those blue tinted specs off. as for Short memories? That's what they are - Memories. Living in the past doesn't do alot for your future. It's not rocket-science.
Mike Oxlong Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 I'm actually looking forward to the cricket season. That's how fed up I feel.
RowlattsFox Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Taking off de Laet was wrong, Lawrence did ok but he didn't play out wide do we lost all width on the right hand side. At the end of the day the players are not good enough, and pearson failed to rectify that in January. At least on other games we have missed chabces, we barely created anything yoday in the biggest game of the season and played tactics right into hulls hands.
promised land Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Saw MON talking to Top after the game in the stands, interesting. Unless someone's mates uncles missus brothers redecorated his flat in the last month it won't happen. Or someone has seen him at the Marriott hotel.

Fine margins? Pah!

Merging Cultures Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 There are no excuses for today's performance. Those trying to find positives are ridiculously deluded. We couldn't win against a 10 man Hull city with the ref on our side. Awful. Not one of the players looked like they wanted to win the game until the last 10 mins, as per usual. That is disgusting. We looked slow, lacking in ideas, and only capable of hoofing the ball.
RedSoxUK Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 The criticisms of Lawrence today are laughable to be honest. I thought Schwarzer had his best game and did well to keep a clean sheet, Lawrence improved on his last appearances greatly, Morgan's positioning was probably his best all season, and showed a greater intent to get forward and find players than he usually does, and I thought Vardy was superb today, same formation, same team vs Tottenham. Only downside (other than not putting the ball in the back of the net) was Schlupp's position leaving him almost redundant for most parts of the game, would have liked to have seen him in attacking positions more, VERY unlucky with his shot which Ulloa prevented from going in, which was going in... Fine margins again.

lcfcliam Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Anybody else see the hull fans scrapping with each other towards the end????
Patrick Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Awful game. If the owners would have had the guts to sack Pearson in December then maybe we wouldn't be in this mess.
Guest MarshallForEngland Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 What I don't get is the people who are angrily obsessed with technicalities, tactics and managerial behaviour are the people who have been saying for weeks that we are already down. If you believed that, why would a 70th minute sub in such a poor match make you angry at all? Surely you are already resigned to the fact that it has no effect on the outcome of our season?
