ScouseFox Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 yeah that Lawrence sub is the weirdest (and worst) thing nige's done since his last weird bad decision. poor kid. felt so sorry for him.
Nuge Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 theyre offering it to martin until end of the season. itk.
Guest MarshallForEngland Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 You forgot to mention different weather Well I said 'different everything' and last time I looked the weather was included in 'everything'.
ScouseFox Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Sounded decent on the stream today, agree with the rest tho it was awful, it was either quiet or groans and boos. when Lawrence came on, took a shaky first touch and overran a ball there was so many moans, poor kid must've been ruined within 10 seconds.
lestajigs Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 What I don't get is the people who are angrily obsessed with technicalities, tactics and managerial behaviour are the people who have been saying for weeks that we are already down. If you believed that, why would a 70th minute sub in such a poor match make you angry at all? Surely you are already resigned to the fact that it has no effect on the outcome of our season?Would we, or would we of not stayed up with pulis?
RedSoxUK Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Jesus, reading that you would of thought we won 4-0. Hull missed two sitters...fine margins What's the point in dwelling? We didn't lose 0 - 2, if you can't hang on to anything positive from that, then why even be a Leicester fan - if people are going to ignore any positives at all then they might as well not bother going, or watching for the remainder of the season. The players have not lost hope yet, and they won't until they're relegated. We do not have the same body language of Queens Park Rangers.
v6rat Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Good old Pearson, doesn't know why we didn't create more.
Guest MarshallForEngland Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Would we or would we not stayed up with pulis? Would we or would we not stayed up with pulis? My crystal ball only does future hypotheticals, not past ones. What a ridiculous question (and one that literally has nothing to do with anything I said). Sometimes I think we are being trolled by an organised gang of football satirists who pretend to be unbearably stupid and see how people react.
Brooksy Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Unless someone's mates uncles missus brothers redecorated his flat in the last month it won't happen. Or someone has seen him at the Marriott hotel. I'd tell you but I've been sworn to secrecy.
Vardinhio Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Absolutely 100% **** off. Loyalty has cost us this year. Loyalty to the Manager, and his Loyalty o certain players. Just because you can't see the club for Nige in your eyeline, don't go making judgements on the rest of us. Leicester shouldn't have won today, as you state. We were sh*t. Take those blue tinted specs off. as for Short memories? That's what they are - Memories. Living in the past doesn't do alot for your future. It's not rocket-science. No blue tinted specs on me my friend. We are a promoted side and we are competing in most games, unfortunately coming just on the wrong side of results. The players are clearly giving it their all, you only have to watch some of the shambolic displays of a team like QPR if you want to see a bunch of over-paid mercenaries. As for memories being memories...that's exactly what's wrong with sso many of our fans. We have no god given right to play premier league football. If you can't take pride in a team being built, progressing and sometimes failing then you may aswell go support Man City or welcome back the Sven era. If you all want to indulge in a hate filled campaign against our team and manager who has bought us so many happy days then I feel for you. Maybe just maybe you will get what you want and I hope it works out. One thing I can promise is that any change will be too late to affect our fate this season anyhow and so rather than moaning I'll think positively and go grab a beer!

MooseBreath Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 How was it Pearson's fault? The tactics and team selection are solely Pearson's responsibility. I spent 95 minutes trying to figure out what formation we were playing, and the best way I can describe it was an asymmetrical 3-1-3-1-1-1 with at times five of the outfield players playing out of position. I've honestly never seen anything like it. It was a total mess. The normal questions persist over the continued inclusion of schwarzer, Morgan and Schlupp, who was so bad in the first half that I literally laughed out loud on a couple of occasions. The normal questions persist over our inability to take a set piece, something that we should have but clearly haven't been working on in training. James' early corner was another laugh out loud moment. The subs, playing Tom Lawrence, a central attacking midfielder, as a right wing back. What the hell was that. Bringing Nugent on with a few minutes left. Taking Kramaric off. They were all questionable at the time and yet again proved ultimately to be ineffective.

ozleicester Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 We have been unlucky, but you make your own luck, from the streams ive seen, there are almost zero games where we have played like a premiership side. Even the "manu game" we didnt play like a prem team, we played like a championship side chasing a one off win. Disapointing, that we did not buy well, left us where we are. We also didnt go out attacking enough.. EVER! someone said in another thread when i said this, they said at least we didnt get thrashed.. to be fair, goal average is irrelevant without points

We pissed the championship last year. No one wanted champions League but 4 wins all season in a very average premier league is not acceptable.

RowlattsFox Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Our biggest problem and has been all season has been keeping the ball. Even today, someone shit like hull still look more composed on the ball. Our best player last year, the player who dictated so much of our play as hardly got a look in, Danny drinkwater.
ScouseFox Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 blame the manager he should not be exposing the "poor kid" in such a vital game at that stage.. I already did...
RedSoxUK Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 The only positive I saw was that we might have learnt to play the ref. There were no positives. The players probably havnt lost all hope but Pearson has gone. "I thought Schwarzer had his best game and did well to keep a clean sheet, Lawrence improved on his last appearances greatly, Morgan's positioning was probably his best all season, and showed a greater intent to get forward and find players than he usually does, and I thought Vardy was superb today." And those saying 'blah blah muh Nugent', the sacrifice from the 11 for Nugent would've been Vardy and he was our stand out player for once.
kingfox Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Defensively decent thought Huth & Upson both had good solid games, De Laet looked decent also. However from midfield to attack, it seemed like Cambiasso & Vardy were the only players up for the task. Those two were seriously let down by the other players around them, James had a poor game while Kramaric & Mahrez were shocking. Riyad Mahrez is overrated, he played like Paul Gallagher today scared of going in for headers & tackles. The same old shit we've had to endure since September, boring & negative football with no ideas in the final third.
SecretPro Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 One of the worst things about our current predicament is that it's too late to expect anyone to save us. If someone had come in 5/6 games ago and kept us up, we wouldn't have all the Pearson apologists on here after horrifying displays like today. Now I have to put up with 'you don't know that if we had bought someone else in we would have stayed up' bullshit. I don't even like Pulis, never really have, but I would have put down a hefty wager on him getting more points out of us that Pearson if he had come in at the right time.
