martyn Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Hoof, Hull win header, Hull pick up 2nd ball. Repeat ad nauseam. No urgency, No quality. You wouldn't know it was a do or die game from the way we approached it.
RedSoxUK Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Are you all blind??Tom Lawrence for RDL was the RIGHT substitution at the RIGHT time. He was one of the few positives to take away for the future, did more in his few passes and shots than Ulloa / Kramaric et al - the right creative, nippy player we needed - unfortunately we didn't get a goal, but he worked well down that right side, stop complaining just because we didn't find the net today.
Nuge Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Saw MON talking to Top after the game in the stands, interesting.
st albans fox Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 We were never gonna win today, feel sorry for who ever had any faith in us today!! So that's now, Sunderland, west brom, Stoke palace and now hull, at home we couldn't beat any of them, cannot see another win all season!!! PEARSON you complete twat Beat them ? We didn't score against any of them! Strange tactics today We were so poor that hull decided the best way to hold out for a draw against 11 was to play two up top!
Swarles Barkley Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Countless number of poor decisions mad by pearson today. For me playing kramaric and vardy in the completely wrong position for the first half was truly amazing Kramaric our most deadly striker is playing left wing ffs. Vardy showed second half what damage he can do from that position so why not first half!!!
Lambert09 Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Thought Schlupp, Vards and Morgan all had decent games... other then that not that many positives.

Wheres he been all season then? Hes too lightweight and offers very little. Probably would of been more effective to play De Laet in his position and save a sub.

I agree. People just using it as another stick to beat Pearson with. Lawrence was popping up and creating space.
lestajigs Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Saw MON talking to Top after the game in the stands, interesting. Really
BoneDog Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 If I was manager I'm sure we would have performed better today. They probably would have even had a better crack at it without a manager. F*&k this.
Guest MarshallForEngland Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 @ the angry gimps highlighting text that enrages them. How was it Pearson's fault? I am not even pro-Pearson so you can't just dismiss me as a 'Pearsonite'. The man has many flaws but not every single bad thing that happens is causally linked to him ffs. He played a reasonably attacking formation from the start, like you have all been demanding, and his subs came on much earlier than they often do. Lawrence instead of Nuge, is that honestly what today's result is about?
SecretPro Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Saw MON talking to Top after the game in the stands, interesting. Don't start this. I can't take it.

He didn't seem to understand what his role was though. Against ten he should have been staying wide but he kept drifting infield and the rhs was empty
Brooksy Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Saw MON talking to Top after the game in the stands, interesting. Saw this aswell mate. Can't see him coming back but you never know.
Oldfox67 Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Comments like this make me smile, talk about blue tinted spectacles! He failed to bring in sufficient quality pre-season, consistently fails to inspire players at crucial times, has little tacticalintelligence, he simply lacks the hallmarks of a premier league manager.
Happy Fox Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 MON was probably telling Top that Ireland is tax free..

Mental - Lawrence is so fragile and runs straight into his opponent, that is, if his first touch allows him to run with the ball. He is a youth team player and should certainly not be coming on in such a high-stakes game at such a high-stakes time. Poor decision.
Collymore Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Probably He was always looking to push us forward but his passing was rather dire again and offers no final product He's not played for 12 years and probably didn't have any match fitness. I actually thought early in the game he was only running at 70% of his true pace, which is still enough to cause problems of course.... A de Laet with zero game time 80 mins into a game with 30% pace is a dangerous proposition. I thought Lawrence was perfect. Hull wouldn't have considered him playing a part and they wouldn't have planned/ Hindsight has proved me wrong though...
ScouseFox Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 that was awful in every way. cannot think of one positive for the team, ref, crowd, manager, hull, football at all, life itself. that was pathetic.
EGBFitness Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Saw MON talking to Top after the game in the stands, interesting. Never going to happened. He won't comeback
Steven Posted 14 March 2015 Author Posted 14 March 2015 Can't blame Pearson for that display. He played the attacking formation and players you have all been demanding, they just put on a pretty uninspiring performance. Hull defended deeply at times, even more so after the red card. The reason we seem to do better against bigger teams is because they play attacking football and leave lots of spaces around the park, which Hull were never going to do.
I am Rod Hull Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 that was awful in every way. cannot think of one positive for the team, ref, crowd, manager, hull, football at all, life itself. that was pathetic. Sounded decent on the stream today, agree with the rest tho
Donut Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 that was awful in every way. cannot think of one positive for the team, ref, crowd, manager, hull, football at all, life itself. that was pathetic. Surely the ref was a positive today. Did more to help us win than any of the players in blue. Stellar display. Still couldnt win. And people have the audacity to say referees have cost us this season, that ref was the biggest homer ive ever seen.
