J.Lisemore Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 All that spirit created last year is well and truly gone. If you ask me, I don't think the players are playing for the manager.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 The silence when Lawrence came on says it all.
Buce Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 An absolute clusterfvck of tactical ineptitude from Nigel Pearson. One of the weirdest formations I've ever seen in professional football. Only the three centre backs and two midfielders appeared to half a defined role. The rest of the players looked lost and confused. It's enough that Pearson decided he'd experiment with his formation again in such an important game, but to do it so bizarrely is just inexplicable and unforgivable. His smile at hearing the boos at the final whistle tells it's own story. Sack him. This. Pearson has to go.
Benji Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 We (Leicester) didnt win, we (Ireland for me) lost in the 6 nations, girlfriend ( my girlfriend) is on the blob today. Not the best weekend I've ever had... The first two should cause you enough anger to trooper on with the third.
bovril Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 All that spirit created last year is well and truly gone. If you ask me, I don't think the players are playing for the manager. I think they are, which is possibly the problem!
Legend_in_blue Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 How can you take off De laet and keep 3 central defenders on against one man after they went down to 10? Dear me. The guy is paid a 7 figure salary and he makes these clueless decisions. I'm livid with him. It's that bad it's almost as if he is deliberately making these stupid decisions just to **** everyone off.
placidcasual Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 The players and Pearson were aware that this was pretty much the last chance right? Spineless gits. The lot of them
Guest MarshallForEngland Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Can't blame Pearson for that display. He played the attacking formation and players you have all been demanding, they just put on a pretty uninspiring performance. Hull defended deeply at times, even more so after the red card. The reason we seem to do better against bigger teams is because they play attacking football and leave lots of spaces around the park, which Hull were never going to do.
The Guvnor Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 We are shit and deserve to go down, I cannot see how Kramaric and Ulloa are any better than Vardy and Nugent !couldn't care less if those two fvck off with a few others.

I think this is true, unfortunately. We'd have been better off playing Nugent and Vardy all season.
JAPANFOX1 Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 The REAL kicker for me is that Pearson shows no remorse and embarassment for constantly feeding us this shit on a weekly basis. If he was such a decent man and could really "take care of himself" then why not do the honorable thing (especially in the eyes of our Thai owners) and resign?
The Horse's Mouth Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 That Lawrence sub was just utterly bizarre, i still can't get my head round it
TheUltimateWinner Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Hoof ball with Vardy upfront always works. Still don't know where Mahrez was playing. Can't play with a two in midfield, so many often we went forward, stopped and went sideways or back. Atleast Morgan wasn't that bad today.

No one had a clue where they were playing. Shambolic tactics in a must win game. Hull were there for the taking and Pearson bottled it and went for safety first as usual.
cullenfox Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Time to say goodbye and good luck to Pearson as our last chance of staying up goes out the door. Now looking certain we'll be heading right back down to our old friend the championship.

Then tactically inept (or maybe tactically arrogant) to respond to the situation in front of him.

I suppose Villa can't blame Sherwood for winning at Sunderland or West Brom can't blame Pulis for being manager of the month.....
EGBFitness Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 I think it's harsh to say we won't win again this season... We will beat QPR last game of the season to make us all believe during the summer that we will bounce back straight the way
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 No attacking threat whatsoever. On decisions like this if Pearson was sacked i wouldn't be unhappy. Such turgid and hopeless football.

And I also blame him for the pathetic season we've had.
