lgfualol Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Vardy MOTM for me. Schwarzer second as he saved us from losing with a couple good saves. Everyone else 5s/6s apart frm the Nugent whom I gave N/A
Guest ttfn Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Schwarzer 7 - a couple of good stops. De Laet 6 - meh Morgan 4 - some people were saying it's the best they've seen him play in a while? I thought he looked ponderous and got bullied by N'Doye. Huth 7 - decent. Seemed to be playing as a sweeper at times. Upson 6 - ok Schlupp 5 - ok going forward, looked like he had no idea what he was doing positionally. James 6 - energetic but too slow on the ball. Cambiasso 4 - thought he was poor yesterday tbh. Barely had a kick in the first 20 minutes. Mahrez 4 - no good centrally, it's counter-intuitive to have him starting from the centre when he's so dangerous cutting in. Kramaric 4 - wasted on the wing Vardy 7 - the only forward player (probably from either side) to emerge with any credit. Subs: Ulloa 4 - had absolutely no impact in half an hour, 2/3 of which was against 10 men. Lawrence 4 - looked like he had no idea what he was supposed to be doing out there. Looks years away from a premier league player. Nugent 6 - did ok in the scandalously limited time he was afforded.
Leicesterpool Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Cambiasso won the MOTM for me didn't put a foot wrong 2) Schwarzer pulled off a cracking save at the end 3) Vardy worked very hard, one or two things he could of improved on but a decent performances from him Most of the squad got a six from me, highest was seven which was of course Cambiasso and Schwarzer. Lowest points went to Ulloa and Lawrence came on and didn't do anything to impact the game, Ulloa isn't a type of player that can come on and change a game, if you want to get the good stuff out of him you start him. Lawrence came and seeing has he hasn't played many games, this was extremely difficult game for him.
Lettsy Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 I'm really looking forward to seeing what the vote is on Pearson after this.
Monsell1976 Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 I'm really looking forward to seeing what the vote is on Pearson after this.If reading the post from his most harden fans is anything to go by, I would be surprised if he gets 40% saying stay.
kingfox Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Schwarzer(7) - Decent, key save against Hernandez De Laet(7) - Never thought I would say this, but it was good to see him back, solid display Morgan(5) - Slightly better but keeps pondering on the ball for too long Huth(7) - Class above defensively, swept up well Upson(6) - Solid enough, good in the air Schlupp(5) - Mixture from Jeff, some good play followed by bad play Mahrez(3) - Seriously bad, played like a fairy James(4) - Poor, lack of drive & aggression Cambiasso(7) - One of a few who tried to get the team going Vardy(7) - Our biggest threat yesterday, 100% effort but decision making at times could of been better Kramaric(3) - Looked out of his depth, probably cause Pearson kept switching his position
foxinsox Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Vardy gave his usual display of running about with no end product. Better on the wing than through the centre. Both Mahrez and Schlupp got pulled in centrally to plug the midfield gap. Kramaric did quite a few good touches and has some real skill but was played out of position. I can see him being a great player, hopefully for us. Lawrence was surprisingly good when he came on, but far too green for the prem and Nugent should have been on at that point, not when too late. I think that Lawrence will develop well next year. Ulloa was fine, but is easily marked. Looked far more threatening in the centre than Vardy. Cambo was very good. My MOTM. James had his poorest game for us in recent times. He should not be taking free kicks when Cambo or Mahrez is on the pitch. Huth was far away the best defender. The other two need pensioning off. Schwartzer had a good game, but we need to get Kasper and Ben Hamer in goal again. They are the future, and we need to get Moore back for the same reason. It was a rubbish afternoon but the season was not lost yesterday it was lost in October to December.
bovril Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Schwarzer 6 RDL 6 Morgan 5 Upson 6 Huth 7 Schlupp 4 Cambiasso 8 - I thought he was excellent, I'm amazed how low some of the scores are. James 6 Mahrez 3 Vardy 7 Kramaric 5
LAprice_ Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Tom Lawrence, the LW/CF was playing at RB, so any rating he get will probably be slightly distorted
chris_lcfc_85 Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 I don't see how anyone can rate players higher than 7 for this game..... The back 3 all did ok but not difficult against a poor Hull attack. James and Cambi always try their hardest but get outnumbered, Mahrez was poor but he can always create something from nothing, Schlupp and De Laet ok but lacked support, Vardy worked hard and Kramaric was wasted out wide, another poor piece of management there
stillwater Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Cambiasso MOM hardly puts a foot wrong and is always talking to the players around him, should be Capt IMO. Vardy runs well but again has no end product karmaric seemed scared to put himself about didn't see him challenge for one ball, maybe he saw the size of their defenders and thought fook this., he does has a touch of class but NP knows how to snuff this out of players. Huth head and shoulders above the rest of our defenders, Pearson clueless inept and completely out of his depth,
burleighfox Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Pearson: 3 - Strange choice of tactics in a home game against a fairly average side, amongst other things. Schwarzer: 7 - Probably the best he's looked for us and made a very good save towards the end from the quick free kick. De Laet: 5 - Still a better option than that clown Simpson but defensively naïve; showed some good touches going forward. Morgan: 4 - I'm lost as to how he still merits a starting place when you see just how poor he's been of late. Summed it up with the random flailing of limbs to prevent the ball going over him. Upson: 6 - A steady Eddie but gave away a couple of silly and lazy fouls, especially the one that led to Schwarzer's save. Huth: 7 - Solid and didn't really look troubled by the Hull attackers, been a positive addition to the backline; should be him and Wasilewski playing alongside each other. Schlupp: 5 - Tried to break out on occasion but seems unsure of when to use the pace he has. More elephant like first touches let him down massively. Cambiasso: 8 - Head and shoulders above this side. Can't understand the ratings he's had on here but I though he showed class and calmness when in possession as ever. James: 5 - Lightweight and ineffective. Played some wayward passes, broke up play at times but offered very little going forward; a rugby-style shot in the second half summed his afternoon up. Mahrez: 6 - Made some good link-up with De Laet but struggled to get by his man for most of the game until one great turn in the box late on which led to a rare half chance. Vardy: 7 - Ran and ran and ran his backside into the ground. 100% for endeavour as usual, created some opportunities through his runs into the channels. It's a shame he hasn't got anymore goals to his name. Let himself down by diving to get Huddlestone his second yellow. Kramaric: 5 - Stuck up front on his own unfairly by Pearson, not strong enough to battle with Bruce and Dawson who eventually sent him further back, showed some decent touches again but was offered very little support.
ADK Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Pearson 1 Schwarzer - 7 De Laet - 6 Morgan - 7 Huth - 8 Upson - 7 Schlupp - 6 Cambiasso - 8 James - 6 Mahrez - 5 Vardy - 7 Kramaric - 5 Ulloa - 3 Lawrence - 5 Nugent - 5
artursteppe Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 I feel sorry for Jeff. Definitely one of the better players yesterday alongside Vardy, Cambiasso, Huth and Schwarzer. Had a lonely job on the left, very little help and support from anyone on the left, so had more pressure than any other player. Richie, who also had a decent game had help from Mahrez and James ( neither of whom had good games ) and Wes gave him assistance as well. Jeff made breaks going forward, and although I really like Kramaric, he gave Jeff no support at all in the first half so Jeff had to do it all on the left, pretty much on his own. I thought he was valiant.
sdb Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 I don't think anyone played below a 6. We just didn't show enough bravery in the final third.
Bettsj2 Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Schwarzer 5 - Good save at the end. Passenger for the rest. RDL 4 - REALLY GLAD HE WAS BACK Wes 5 - Crap defender against a crap attacker. Riveting stuff. Huth 6 - Didnt look as good as previous games Upson 5 - See Wes. Schlupp 4 - The black version of that 'Super sub' advert with the special needs kid. Cambiasso 6 - Looked ok but nothing amazing. James 3 - I dont believe for a second he works on his set pieces in training. Mahrez 2 - When he's good he's good, when he's bad he's FVCKING SHIT! Kramaric 2 - Bosco Balaban MKII Vardy 7 - Bright without having any quality. Pearson 0 - Do us all a favour and fvck off Nige.
Dickov22 Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Schwarzer 7 Great save late on De Laet 5 Did ok Morgan 6 Looked a bit shaky on the ball but did ok Huth 7 Best defender we have Upson 5 Saw him win 1 header all game. Got outmuscled AGAIN against their forward late on that resulted in a one on one with Schwarzer. Struggling to see the point in him Schlupp 6 let their winger get 2 crosses over far too easily in the first half. Got forward pretty well Mahrez 4 Poorest game in a while Cambiasso 6 Some nice touches but looked a bit off the pace James 5 Very average game from him and he can't bloody shoot Vardy 7 The only one who showed real desire. Some good runs and showed he can be a threat at this level Kramaric 5 Poor game from him Subs Lawrence 6 Wrong sub but showed some promise. Such a tough ask for a kid to come on in a game like that Ulloa 5 Meh Nugent 4 No threat whatsoever Pearson 0. 5 defenders at home ridiculous.
TOMBlcfc Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Huth MOTM for me but Vardy played well when he got on the ball (which wasn't as often as i'd have liked hence not motm). I don't quite get why Lawrence was on the bench instead of Albrighton or Knockaert (although isn't Anthony in France or something?)
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Schwarzer 6 - Couple of decent saves, good gather in the first half when he was smashed. Took ages to distribute the ball, and when he did it wasn't great. Still our best GK RDL 7 - Good going forward, linked up well a few times and not really tested defensively. Having watched that performance I wonder why the fvck Danny Simpson has been playing. Morgan 6 - Solid defensively, won fair few headers. Had the standard odd bombscare moment in possession but no clangers. Huth 6 - Didn't have much to do. Won aerial dual easily. Distribution not great. Upson 6 - Pretty much same as Huth, poor distribution for an ex England international. Schlupp 4 - Wasted lots of good attacking positions by terrible decision making and slowness of though. Doesn't make the right runs going forward. Defensively allowed their winger to get far to many deliveries in the first half. Caught out of position woefully when they missed in the first half and completely switched off from the quick free kick. Cambiasso 6 - Did well in the first half, played some nice balls and looked tidy in possession. Anonymous is the 2nd when we tried to be direct to Ulloa instead of him getting his foot on the ball. James 5 - I rate James, but I think Drinkwater deserves a chance in their now. Some nice touches but a little ponderous in moving the ball and lacks any sort of composure in the final third. Average set pieces but need more whip. Mahrez 4 - Bad day at the office for him, tried the same thing almost every time he got the ball but just too predictable. Surprised he lasted the 90 minutes. Vardy 7 - (MOTM) - Ran the channels well, didn't give their centre halves any peace and looked our only attacking threat. Never had a sniff at goal though. Kramaric 4 - Pretty poor performance, can't remember him having a positive touch in the first 30 minutes. Easily muscled off the ball and didn't show much in terms of quality or desire. Bemused how angry people sitting around me got when he was replaced considering how incompetent a performance he put in. Ulloa 3 - Starting to get on my nerves. For a big lad his hold up play is terrible and the ball bounces off him too much. Can't remember the last time he had any sort of impact on a league game Lawrence 3 - So far out of his depth, bemused he was on the bench, and even more surprised he came on for RDL who was looking alright going forward. Rabbit in headlights. Nugent N/A - Should have came on as soon as they went down to 10, didn't have time to get anything going although could have done better with our only chance. Ref 4 - Let alot go. Bruce's challenged looked awful in real time but wasn't even a foul after seeing a replay. Bought Vardy's dive to get Huddlestone sent off. Hull 4 - Just as bad as us, but they have 10 more points somehow. Would go down if the bottom 3 weren't so shite. Nige 5 (Stay but first time all season my faith has faltered) - Was a more attacking line up, but why Lawrence was brought on was ridiculous and wasn't brave enough to go for it until 10 minutes too late. A point is as bad as a loss so we should have chucked Nuge on as soon as the red card. If Simpson is brought back for Spurs then serious questions to be asked.
theessexfox Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Individually we were alright, just bottled the game collectively. Schwarzer - 6 - Largely a spectator but saved our blushes at the end Morgan - 6 - Didn't do much wrong, slow on the ball but why should he be on the ball so much? Huth - 7 - Dominant Upson - 6 - Not noticeable RDL - 5 - Players seemed reluctant to pass to him, poor touch James - 6 - Tidy on the ball, just don't shoot please Cambiasso - 6 - Did alright, not enough Schlupp - 5 - Worked hard but unintelligent Mahrez - 2 - Abysmal Vardy - 7 - Worked hard, only threat Kramaric - 5 - Misused and poor Lawrence - 5 - Tried, showed some bravery but not quality Other subs - N/A Pearson - 4 -Stay (only time I've had to consider it), set up was better but we were so flat and it has to be mainly down to him Ref - 6 - Better than many we've had Hull - 4 - They're not very good
ScouseFox Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 mahrez, Schlupp and kram the worst of the lot for me. ulloa was pathetic in his cameo too, we clearly brought him on to give us more of a presence up front, so he spends about 20 minutes at right wing back. joker. schwarz 6 - alright. one boss save. RDL 6 Wes 6 Huth 6 Upson 6 Schlupp 4 James 5 Cambiasso 5 - never involved as much as he should've been Riyad 4 - nothing worked or happened Krama 4 - see riyad Vardy 7 - motm, put a lot in and looked a threat. Ulloa 4 Lawrence n/a Nuge n/a Hull 2 - awfully bad Ref 3 - pretty much as bad Nige 4, clicked go for the first time ever, cos based on that performance alone I can't defend him really.
