What reasons do you support the team that you do in NFL? Is it just vibes?

Got family in Georgia so for some time 'supported' the Atlanta Falcons. But I can't say I'm that bothered if they win or lose, which is fortunate because they usually lose in the most painful way possible.

Caleb Williams looks a bit gash so far

This is going to age as well as when I questioned the Chiefs' drafting of Mahomes.

Loved the idea that the Packers were a publicly owned non-profit corporation. They were terrible in the late 80s (had been since they won the first 2 Superbowls in '66 and '67) so I liked the underdog vibe. Was in Wisconsin for a wedding in the early 90s, went to Green Bay for the day on a match day even though we didn't have any tickets, but the atmosphere outside the stadium pre-match was amazing. The Holmgren-Favre years were just about to begin and I haven't looked back since!

A family member got me a Vikings souvenir when they were on holiday in Minnesota when I was a kid because they knew I like Vikings from learning about them early in primary school.

And so begin supporting the Spurs of NFL ever since.

Can't believe the Bengals have just blown it with the holder dropping the ball on that OT field goal attempt

Happened to a few teams tonight.

Ravens should have been punished for that Jackson mistake.

Weird season this year

My nickname at school was Howie, at the same time NFL first came on channel 4.

The Raiders had a player called Howie Long and won the superbowl that year so being the glory hunter I am, I supported them.

And they’ve been shit for the last 40 years since.

I think the Raiders picked up a fair few UK fans at the time. I remember Marcus Allen being the main man. They've probably lost a few over the years considering, like you said, how crap they have been since!

Legend has it, amongst Raider fans, that recording and releasing this abomination in 1986 put a curse on the Raiders. All your favourites are here Izzy - Howie, Marcus and co. with some of the worst rapping this side of John Barnes

Best mate is a Seahawks fan so got more into it when I'd watch NFL with him and a few other lads.

I certainly remember Howie.

My nickname at school was Archie. There was a QB for the Saints at that time who shares the same last name as me(along with two of his more famous QB sons).

Luckily for me, I didn't take them on as my team. Those years they were referred to as the "Aints" and even their fans wore paper bags over their heads to games.

I've mostly supported the Bills since they are the closest team and all our American TV stations are out of Buffalo.

Went down to the games a lot in the late 80s and early 90s. Was a fun team to watch at that time, except when it came to the Super Bowl lol

When the highlights used to be on Channel 4 John Elway was doing crazy stuff so the Broncos were always the team I would select on the 90's Madden games. Always watched the super bowls but didn't get properly into the sport until 2011 which was the miracle Tebow season with all the crazy comebacks and Von Miller being awesome. They dumped Tim and Peyton Manning joined the following season and he is probably my favourite non-Leicester City sports person ever so seemed natural to keep following them. We have been frustrating the past few years so hoping for some success again soon!

If you've ever watched The X-Files, you'll know why the Bills never have and never will win the Superbowl! 😄

Liked the raiders as a kid playing madden, asked for a jersey when my family travelled to the US.

Came back with Giants gear, overall a good decision!

The NFL was always huge here in Canada.

Kids in HS basically picked their team on who's colours were the coolest, or just by a favourite player.

Raiders of course were always well supported.

Cowboys and Steelers from their 70's success

Niners also, from the Montana era.

Bills and Lions are the border cities to us here in Ontario, but we're never the "cool" teams to support, although I remember seeing quite a few Barry Sanders jerseys.

It’s something ridiculous like the Broncos only had about five losing season in history before the last Super Bowl and they haven’t had a winning one since.

I got given a Broncos shirt when I was really young and had no idea what it was. Then happened to get into NFL about 30 years ago when it was on Channel 4 on Saturday mornings.
