RedSoxUK Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 Its actually Rose, who hits Nugent if you look closely. Danish telly did some super slow thingy and concluded that it shouldn't have been a penalty. Still Nugent should have dealt with the situation better, but that is our season.... Refs reason was the pace at which Rose was running beyond Nugent at, Nugent tried to cut in front of the ball, which is 99 / 100 times no foul just protecting the ball a la defenders holding players off for the ball to roll out for a goal kick. Nugent's touch + Rose's pace and content made the referee act. In all fairness to Rose / Mike Dean, we've seen them given to us before thanks to Vardy. That was enough for it to be a penalty, and unfortunately it was... Nacer Chadli's clear dive should be a red card though, I hate seeing that, any simulation which is clearly aiming to win a penalty and get a player booked is deserving of a red card IMO. Would like that rule to change.

Tuna Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 Overall it has to be encouraging. Disappointing result of course, and almost certainly too little too late. Was nice to see us give it a go and all you can really say is why could we not do this earlier in the season. We should have about 10 more points by now and coasting to safety.

Play Albrighton as Mahrez will be gone also get Knocky involved if Mahrez is going and start Nuge and Vardy up front again!

It does make you wonder if we had spent the 18 million on defense and defensive midfield what would have happened this year.

Hate this stupid season. Kind of miss the Leauge One fun these days... WTF? Did you miss last season and personally would rather this season than a winning one in div1 ffs wish we had never been in it.

Well are they any better than Vardy and Nugent I would say not, so maybe not awful buys but they haven't significantly improved our squad
