Mon May 5th - Open Top Bus Tour

Recommended Posts

So then lads where's the singing section going to be lol

Mr Soulsby has stated he will only allow singing if we respect the ethnicity of the City if we chant/wail/hum and include some Bollywood smash hits.

I'm taking bets on Keith Vaz jumping off his usual band wagon and onto this bus.

Odds?

Can't they have it in nottingham instead as their town centre is much bigger and grander looking plus the locals will be pleased as they don't care at all about us as rivals

They don't have open top buses in Nottingham they got rid of them all as they haven't had much use for them recently.

Where will the section be for the true fans to sing 'Loyal Supporters' & 'Where were you when we were shit?' at everybody else who turns up? lol

And is this date confirmed anywhere official yet?

Shouldn't be long before the LM print details but heard Soulsby announce it on RL and they mention it in their news broadcasts.

City mayor Sir Peter Soulsby has confirmed that a parade will be held for Championship winners Leicester City.

Speaking to BBC Radio Leicester the mayor said the open-top bus tour will be held on bankicon1.png holiday Monday, May 5.

Would it actually be in town or around the KP area? Shutting the roads of on town could be a nightmare lol

Gotta be around town, it's a massive occasion. They bugger up the routes in and out of town for a whole day when 40 people want to cycle about, I think they can set up a few diversions for an hour or two while our heroes have a parade!

It went from Filbo to town round the clock tower and ended up on Viccy Park before.

Obviously can't go around the clock tower now in fact the City Centre is pretty much off limits due to the pedestrianisation.
