Surely he has 5 assists since the turn of the year?

One at Liverpool, two at Everton, one at Spurs and one on Saturday.

Think you're right. Forgot about the one at Liverpool.

He's really upped his game again in the past few weeks. Ever since Everton he's looked like the Vardy of 2013/14.

Long may it continue! He's a real asset to us when he plays like this. He was the catalyst for many an attack last season. The return to that kind of form now is a promising sign.

On form I literally think he is a top class premier league player. The problem is off form he really can offer little to nothing.

I like him, I agree he's often a threat, but let's consider his goal tally this season!

He plays tomorrow that's for sure

Meanwhile in the middle of the week's Match! Magazine my son was excited to see this.

Exalted company indeed.

Don't get me wrong, he's a decent player when on top of his game,

But this is a little too far, sticking him next to one of the best forwards of our generation?

He isn't that good and will probably move from Barca in the next few years.

Didn't see that one coming

I can see a swap brewing. They get Vardy and we get Messi. Get some architect from Barcelona to do up Leicester Cathedral like the Sagrada familia and it's a done deal!

His work rate is enough for him to be in the team. Even if he doesn't score/assist he is a pest and gives defenders a tough time every week. Why I would have him in the team atm, is when players are direct it causes problems, and he is actually a very good crosser of the ball.

Forget Eden Hazard, Mesut Ozil and Michael Carrick... the best player in the Premier League this weekend was Jamie Vardy, and it's nothing new from the Leicester striker
