GeorgeTheFox Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 I love reading this thread. So fickle nowadays
Guest ttfn Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Ulloa should have finished that, but all-round play has been good, caused problems for them. Played Ok, matched them for most of the game. Atkinson is a complete and utter cheat - 2nd, well... looked out, Dawson looked offside and was arguably interfering, Huths penalty appeal - it's not ****ing Judo chap, definite pen. Think if we get the next goal, and early on in the second half, we'll win, but we need to start actually turning the threat from Vardy into goals. 2nd was definitely still in play. I don't think Dawson was interfering but he was bloody close to it. Huth obviously should have had a penalty but they're never given.
Brooksy Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Why does he play schlupp, the blokes absolutely ****ing useless
TJB-fox Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Big opportunity in this second half, one point I would be happy(ish) with, but maximum points are clearly there for the taking. Come on Leicester
bovril Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 I like this Canadian half time analysis. "Aston Villa haven't had much to shoot aboot this year".
shailen Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 These are awful. We are playing just as bad. Step it up in the second half and we can take the points. Need to stop conceding soft goals, although our goal was pretty soft tbf.
Legend_in_blue Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 We are carrying far too many Championship players in the team. I'd struggle to put one or two of them in a top Championship side to be fair. They were shown up last season. Nothings changed. Only the mistakes are made even more obvious as they normally end up as goals against us rather than missed chances.
Guest kristianity77 Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 45 minutes to win this. If results elsewhere stay the same, we've got no choice but to turn this around. 7 point gap is too much.
wolfgang amadeus Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Aside from our defending there was nothing wrong with their second Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
KFS Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 You're all berating Schlupp... The man we have in reserve is Paul hoof Konchesky
Nalis Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Why does he play schlupp, the blokes absolutely ****ing useless Because the alternative (Knochesky) is worse...
Guest ttfn Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 I'd struggle to put one or two of them in a top Championship side to be fair. What?! (Ok maybe Jeff).
justfoxes Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 We're allowing th far too much space not closing them down quick enough giving them too much space to play and kasper needs to get back to his earlier season form before he stubbed his toes
Guest ttfn Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 You're all berating Schlupp... The man we have in reserve is Paul hoof Konchesky Konchesky is a way, way better full back than Schlupp. He did a better job at wing back than Schlupp too to be fair.

I would say any of the players in our starting 11 would be good enough to get into Bournemouth or Watford's starting 11 (the top 2 in the championship atm). Other than maybe Schlupp as a left back, our starting 11 is a class championship side but a rather inadequate premiership side. Our problem is the players we bought in January should have come in the summer, with 2/3 more experienced players coming in January.
