lgfualol Posted 12 June 2015 Posted 12 June 2015 Apparently Carlos Gil is not wanted by Sherwood. Anyone think he is good? I remember he scored a good goal once.
Spence Posted 12 June 2015 Posted 12 June 2015 everybody wanting us to bring in more winger… CRAZY. Schlupp, Mahrez and Albright all very good wingers. what we need is another midfielder and two decent defenders. McGeady and Jarvis no better than any of our current wingers imo!
Guest Posted 12 June 2015 Posted 12 June 2015 Francis Jeffers. Striker with premier league experience at Everton and Arsenal. Played in several leagues around the world, one of them very close geographically to Serie A. Also played for England alongside Rooney. He is getting up there in years and has had a slight dip in form recently, but reckon he's about to turn a corner. $80k a week. 20 goals a season. Bargain.

bovril Posted 12 June 2015 Posted 12 June 2015 Looked up Jeffers on wiki just to have a look at his stats. Has he really scored only 52 goals in his entire career? Bloody hell.
Wymsey Posted 12 June 2015 Posted 12 June 2015 Looked up Jeffers on wiki just to have a look at his stats. Has he really scored only 52 goals in his entire career? Bloody hell. Probably one of the 'most famous' footballers to have been forgotten by many?
Guest Posted 13 June 2015 Posted 13 June 2015 Probably one of the 'most famous' footballers to have been forgotten by many? I was pretty young at the time, but i do seem to recall him being hyped up to the heavens and the next big thing and the saviour of English football etc etc. He may have featured quite heavily in an argument I had with a Brazilian friend as to why england were bound to win one of the next world cups.

Bluearmyfox28 Posted 13 June 2015 Posted 13 June 2015 I've just seen that West Ham are keen on Corluka, wasn't we linked with him in January?
ronnup Posted 13 June 2015 Posted 13 June 2015 surprised we've not been linked with more Hull players, also expected us to be linked with Trippier too.

Dan Posted 13 June 2015 Posted 13 June 2015 I like ya Dan, but it's this kind of comment I find frustrating bud. I see us as a progressive club. A 'big' club if you like. We aren't short of a few bob now. We've retained our status in the top division in the world, IMO. Why shouldn't we now try to properly kick on? If Pearson wanted to go out and sign Mirallas, why not? He could come to Leicester and possibly be a star for the club. We have great fans. The love of Cambiasso is surely unrivalled across the whole of the Premiership. As I've stated before, almost edging on cult-like status. Mirallas could come here and have a bloody good time, being well paid and playing for a gem of a club. That's my opinion anyway. Not only him either. There's more who, in my humble opinion, could now be seeing LCFC as a good option. We aren't going to attract Everton first team regulars. I absolutely buy into us being a progressive club, but I must be missing something with Mirallas, has he been told he can leave or something? Funnily enough I think we should go in for Cabaye if the likes of Villa & Palace are.
Charnwood Norris Posted 13 June 2015 Posted 13 June 2015 Selcuk Inan Joel Veltman Roberto Firmino Shinji Okazaki Lasse Schöne
kingfox Posted 13 June 2015 Posted 13 June 2015 Yussuf Poulsen linked last month I think. After seeing him tonight I would take a gamble, looks a decent prospect.

And if he does we'll probably be competing with Athletico Madrid, Dortmund, Liverpool and Tottenham. There's absouletly no way would we be able to sign him and anyone who thinks we can are deluded.

LCFC FOX Posted 13 June 2015 Posted 13 June 2015 What about a cheeky loan bid for Jovetic? Could be ideal for Man City
shen Posted 13 June 2015 Posted 13 June 2015 Surely we'd have no chance? It's a very long shot admittedly. It's not unimaginable though. I didn't expect Huth or Cambiasso to join us either, but they did. One can dream...
Charnwood Norris Posted 14 June 2015 Posted 14 June 2015 What about a cheeky loan bid for Jovetic? Could be ideal for Man City Would be great for us (we need an offensive MF player badly) but I'd guess he'd opt to be loaned abroad to a champions league qualified team.

Callabinho Posted 14 June 2015 Posted 14 June 2015 Alan Dzagoev? He doesn't seem to get the look on he deserves, at both club and country level. He's increadible.
