Next season who would you like to see come in?

As if Cabaye's going to Palace. Sickener that. He'd have been as close to a Cambiasso replacement as we could get, unless it's just the Pardew factor of course,

Dragovic is more aspirational I guess. Brooks would be doable and it was probably me mentioning his name on this thread aha - I've always been impressed when I've watched Hertha play and in the World Cup for USA he was brilliant. He's valued at around £4-5mil online and Hertha Berlin are a mid table outfit so I'm sure they'd sell if we came knocking. Rekik on loan is both realistic and low risk. A permanent clause wouldn't be out of the question either I'd imagine.

As a part time follower of Hertha, I have said this before Brooks is wildly inconsistent and he's only just begun to keep his place in the team regularly.

I'm sure I read somewhere Palace were letting Jedinak go. He would be perfect for us.

The Daily Mail recently stated that Palace may offload him, with Pulis being interested in securing his services for West Brom.

If they're letting go of Yacob or Mulumbu then that would make sense.

I'd really like to see us go for Nathan Dyer.

I believe he would really fit into our style of play.

It's probably a completely unrealistic suggestion but I seen that Lucas Silva is available for loan from Real Madrid, looked a quality player the few times I seen him play last season

So ironic you mentioned him because just before I came on this thread, I signed him on football manager for £5m. He has quality stats in my game.

I haven't played it for ten years but it's not the craziest idea. Time and time again I'd know someone only on FM and you'd hear of them a year later getting a big transfer in real life.

Alex song anybody? Barca are willing to accept offers around 8-10million for him. Been linked with a move back to West Ham & recently Southampton. Can we compete for a player of Song's quality yet or am I being to optimistic?

His form tailed off a fair bit in the second half of the season but overall it was a good loan signing for Wham. If we could get him for around £8-10m then it could be good business

I still think Mark Noble would be a stellar signing

For the squad and 3-4-3 (or 3-4-1-2) we need 3 GKs (complete), 5 CBs (potentially two needed), 3 right sided players - RB, RWB, RW (RB needed, assuming Simpson goes), 3 left sided players - LB, LWB, LW, (with Konchesky we are complete but could be improved), 4 CMs (please stay Cambiasso), 2 CAMs (one needed), and 5 strikers (with Nugent, we just need one more).

I wouldn't mind Sako and Okazaki, I can't think of the other players we should bring in though...

  1. CB - Huth??
  2. CB -
  3. RB -
  4. CM - Cambiasso??
  5. CAM - Sako
  6. ST - Okazaki

I don't know anything about Matip, but a quick google reveals 23 years old, 6'4" at Schalke, Cameroonian international... sounds like he has potential. Newcastle interested for GBP10m.

Trippier, seems alright. Could we do better? Only 24 though, and if has the right attitude to listen to Nige he could progress.

Yeah hopefully we could compete with Newcastle for him.

Trippier could be hit and miss. After working for a managerial genius like Sean Dyche could he really respect a lesser man like Nige lol

Rod fanni is a free agent this summer, would add experience to our squad which is vital if we want to solidify our place in this league, mind you I've never watched him but with champions league experience like wasyl has shown us he's got to be good no?

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't he on trial with us last summer? Transfer never happened for some reason.

Was on trial last summer and Nigel wasn't happy with his "attitude and motivation". Aka wanted a lot of money and that's all he cared about.

I see Liverpool have signed Ings.

Would anyone take a punt on Lambert?

Can't see him starting for Liverpool and would be available for not much I guess.
