shen Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 We were never going to get anything from the game. We have to keep going, two wins will do it for me! Come on lads. Had we not been forced into early substitions, I think our chances of getting something would have increased a bit. We weren't too far away from a draw.
shailen Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 I think Chelsea showed today why they are so special. They just went up the gears almost at will. They were poor first half and looked unplayable at times in the second half. I don't understand how people don't think they are the real deal. Yes they were poor against PSG, but apart from that one performance they have been ridiculous. Not to mention PSG are no pushovers. They can literally play any game. Whether that is to be on the front foot and outplay the opposition or soak up pressure and hit teams on the break. This team will carry on winning things for a few seasons imo.
john doe Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 All this terry hate. Best defender this season by a long way
Callabinho Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 Difference was £££££, at the end of the day we did bloody well! I'm proud of the lads....
ADK Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 And still the Chelsea arselicking carries on. They were one of a number of teams who beat us comfortably by 2 goals.
Big_Nige Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 can't believe people are only just realising how far ahead of anyone else defensively jt is though. remember when people were genuinely celebrating his retirement from england lol best defender we've had in my lifetime and even now still the best we have by an absolute distance. This. All day long. Class act on the pitch.
Guest bss9401 Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 I still think that we may well have held out for a draw if it were not for the reshuffling after the injuries. As soon as the confidence was put to the test in the second half we were done for as they sensed it.
Dynamogoon Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 Proud of em all. They had undoubted class, and ultimately it shine through in the second half. But I salute all the boys tonight, we gave em a run for their money. On to Saturday
Stadt Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 Injuries ruined a potential surprise win (or draw) ordinarily Vardy and Ulloa get subbed imo
Robin JD Popley Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 Okay, if I am being over critical - our defending for each of their goals was back to our old sub par selves but Huth was off at that point. What made me proud tonight though was the togetherness when we went 1 - 0 up in the crowd. Come on Lads. Let's turn over Newcastle!
Kitchandro Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 I'm very surprised people came out of that game thinking how good they were. I came out thinking they have spent millions, almost billions of pounds on their team under Abramovic yet they spent 45 minutes with men behind the ball trying to scrape a 0-0 against then side 4th from bottom. The whole club is the shit of the footballing world and their manager probably the most overrated of all time. They were superior to us in the second half but frankly I expect a lot more from a team who has spent as much money as they have.
Kitchandro Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 They played like champions in the second half. Every time Willian came up against Konch I cringed. We gave it a go and am proud of them. I cringe when anyone comes up against Konch. Willian is good but he's not world class, Konchesky is just shit.

You what do you expect more from the 18 million we spent on ulloa and kramaric then? I cringe when anyone comes up against Konch. Willian is good but he's not world class, Konchesky is just shit. Willian isn't world class? Are you on drugs.
ScouseFox Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 most overrated manager of all time just a few days away from league title number a lot (I'm drunk) after winning champions league number quite a few and treble a few also innit? shite that la
elvis f kennedy Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 And still the Chelsea arselicking carries on. They were one of a number of teams who beat us comfortably by 2 goals. Yeah but we haven't always played well and got beat by 2.this is football got to give some credit for teams that deserve it.
Leicesterpool Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 Leicester were excellent first half and deserved the lead. Chelsea were actually quite poor in the first half, they looked like they weren't quite prepared for leicester, second half it wasn't quite the same for leicester. Chelsea came out and managed to kick start themselves, got to say you can see why Chelsea are going to win the league. I agree that Chelsea are little bit of overrated at times, but next year I do think it's going to be a much tighter race for the title. There was neither any negatives or positives, we weren't expecting to get anything out of this game anyway. Lets to just treat this like a friendly match, prior to this game we've been excellent and lets just remember that. Bring on the Newcastle I'll say! Oh and one more thing, Konchesky was shocking tonight. He looked so slow up against Willian. A new left back needed in the summer!

Shit manager are you on drugs? Name a club he has not picked up a pot at. Would take him in a heart beat.
Benguin Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 Think it's harsh to criticise Mahrez, was probably the wrong player to come on. Are you an Ostrich?

Your posts are getting more bizarre by the day and are so far off the mark it is untrue Think you need to go and see someone and quite quickly I'd suggest
Monsell1976 Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 Got nothing from the game, expected nothing. Chelsea are a lot, lot better than us, and it showed, but credit to our lads, they gave it a go.
Babylon Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 Not many individual performances that have impressed me this season, Pienar (spelling?) for Everton and Willian being the two that stood out. Ok the left hand side was non existent, but he still stood out.
Vicki Vixen Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 Difference was £££££, at the end of the day we did bloody well! I'm proud of the lads.... Yep, and we've been written off 57,000 times this season, but our will to win is one of the highest in the league.
Guest ttfn Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 Chelsea were great in the second half. Mourinho is absolutely unbearable. The Kurt Zouma default sub is so painfully predictable, so painfully simple and so painfully effective and professional. The brilliant boring bastard. Thought we played ok and that 3-1 was fair - didn't really think we were anything to write home about which was understandable considering injuries etc. Drinkwater and Albrighton I thought were very good for us. We might as well have had a traffic cone playing left back for all the use Konchesky was today. Then again he won't be marking £30 million wingers every week and Willian played very well for Chelsea. Like most people I'm more disappointed with the injuries than the result.
ImBlue Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 I reckon I could have been man of the match playing on the right going at konch..
Karljohn Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 Don't care about Chelsea. Just hope Huth is fit for Saturday and Konchesky is nowhere to be seen. Vardy and Kramaric for me too, Ulloa not a goal threat at all tonight. Have a feeling that Newcastle may be the toughest game of the last four. Its a must win.
