filbertway Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 Nice. Hope Huthy boy is back for Saturday.Looked like a twisted ankle so hopefully a few days rest will sort it. Going to be dreaming about that cambiasso pass tonight, shame it wasn't Kram on.the end of it. Classic Morgan defending for that second haha.
Webbo Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 We looked knackered last 15 minutes, the 2 early subs ruined our chances of freshening it up towards the end. Hope we're all alright for Saturday.
Fox in the North Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 Game of two halves. Mourinho changed it up at half time and again showed how exceptional he is tactically. First half we were brilliant. Second half, it was like men v boys. The injury to Huth is VERY worrying. He's crucial. DeLaet etc are not in the same league (metaphorically) as Huth. Hopefully it's not too serious.
Sunbury Fox Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 2 things killed us. Losing 2 players to injury in the first half meaning we ran out of steam in the 2nd half as we only had 1 sub left. And that goal straight after half time.
pazzerfox Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 Think we still have a huge task ahead of us. If Sunderland win their extra game it's out of our hands again. I have to admit I'm concerned by how tired we looked. I will feel very relieved if we beat Newcastle. It will still be in our hands as we have to play Sunderland still.
Larry_LCFC Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 First half they were dross. Second half they upped it several gears as expected.
Foxfromburbage Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 We could have all predicted the score, but scoring before 88 minutes was never going to help us. I hope Huth is OK for Saturday !
Master Fox Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 Scoring at the end of the first half really fired them up to come out and play full on second half. Shame
shailen Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 We gave a good performance tonight and not many teams in the world could stop Chelsea the way they played second half. Pleasing thing is that we gave a good performance.
lgfualol Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 Proud of the performance from the team. It was a bit like when we played Chelsea away, we gave them a good match but they just were too good. And the fact we had to use two subs so early didn't help things. Willian's pace caused us no end of problems. Pray that the team is all good for Newcastle, it will be a tough match.
Corky Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 Chelsea turned it up after the break, took a lot out of us. Our display in the first half was excellent, need to do that again on Saturday. Hope the injuries aren't too serious and we have more players to pick from with Nugent and Schlupp back. 3-1 I think was a little harsh but that is what champions do.
JonnyBoy Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 Tippy tappy football around the box was another level. Deserved champions. We can hold our head high after that.. Shouldn't knock their confidence fingers crossed
EdinburghFox Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 I must have missed a goal somewhere Wasn't 1 of their shots counted as the header which led to a rebound which went in? That's what I was counting anyway
JadeFalcon Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 Drogba can ****ing rot in hell for all i care, dirty cheating bastard screaming like **** cause he's injured then goes and scores with the same foot that had just recently been ****ing chopped off
Tuna Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 Absolutely no shame in losing to them, they are the best team in the division by a mile and we were simply outclassed as many team have been all season. We gave a great account of ourselves but looked very jaded in those final 15 minutes losing Huth and King didn't help in that regard. I'm not disappointed, we are good enough to stay in this division and we go again against Newcastle. The pressure is back on though and we must get a win on Saturday. Hopefully Southampton will do us a favour and beat Sunderland for us.
justfoxes Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 Well done lads you played a blinder now to pick it up and beat Newcastle !! Is it just me or when you see John Terry's face you want to slap him sideways ?? COME ON LEICESTER LETS KEEP POSITIVE !!
m4DD0gg Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 Any word on the huth injury yet, he is crucial to survival.
mundella boy Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 1-3 not the end of the world. Bring on the toon army
Tielemans63 Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 No shame but after 75 minutes I somehow thought we might just hold on for what would have been a brilliant point.
justfoxes Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 JOHN TERRY IS A SMUG LITTLE C***T THO I JUST CANNOT STAND THE LITTLE DWEEB !!
fuchsntf Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 We rested , King and Huth tonight, nearly worked!!!!
