No we didn't. Results were poor and SOME of the performances were dog shit but the majority of performances were pretty good. We've been decent far more often then we've been shite.

Results don't lie , nor did the table for 6 months

So we can agree that it doesn't lie now either then so we must have been at least half decent. Hence peoples optimism for next season.

I'm not saying we were great because we weren't but anyone could see we weren't getting the points we deserved and then it clicked. What matters is what the table says after 38 games.

Arent you a stoke fan though

My thoughts exactly. Seen nothing to suggest otherwise since he joined the forum around the time we played stoke. Seems to be trying to masquerade as a Leicester fan all of a sudden but I doubt he's watched us all season. Hence results is all he's got to go on...

I believe that we won't spend much but we will make 2-3 improvements that will guide us to 10th place finish. We have the class but some players like kramaric need to perform better and take every match like the last

You will love the fact it seems we are looking for a new manager as Jokanavic seems likely to reject a new contract.

Dispute over wages and length of a deal it seems is the issue.

Very disruptive - took a bit of time for us to get going after all the upheaval last season!

Strange situation to be in

Ah that is a rubbish situation to be in, especially after such a good season...

That job has got Gus Poyet written all over it.

Frankly your owners must be mad. He's done a fantastic job and is surely worth the extra cash. Still I expect you'll be getting most of the Granada and Udinese teams next year all on loan as there are no restrictions in the Premier League as far as I recall.

Reserves from bottom half of la liga and serie A will get them easily relegated.

Results don't paint the whole story, if you were a leicester fan, rather than some Stoke Trollope disguising yourself with all the skill of a blind rhino, you'd have seen that, while the results november - March were poor, the performances regularly warranted more than what we got. Naievity was the problem more often than a lack of quality in that spell

It's alright. We didn't play well against Spurs (twice), Liverpool, Everton, Palace, Arsenal or Man City during the middle part of the season so we've managed to fluke our way to safety.

Not sure if sarcastic because we were good in those games or sarcastic because even if we weren't it wouldn't be a fluke...

Think you can only have 2?

Anyway local paper say talks still going on.

I'd imagine you'll get some of the better quality players. Watford as a PL team will be the biggest money-maker out of any of their clubs, so I'd imagine some money + better Players from Udinese and Granada.

Maybe but Granada have stayed up now and there are limits on how many overseas players you can have aren't there (or you have to have a certain number of home grown players in a squad)?

Mind you Man City etc seem to pass with their 2 or 3.

Seem to remember it's 4 academy graduates, 8 players who played at an English club for three years between 16& 21 (can't remember if it includes those 4 club grown players) then whatever you want for the rest.

Its just 8 home grown players, the 4 academy graduates rule only counts for European competition. It doesn't really have a positive effect on the England football team as you can be from any nation to qualify as "home grown" as long as you play here for three years before your 21st birthday. For instance Cesc Fabregas is classed as "home grown".
