4everfox Posted 16 May 2015 Posted 16 May 2015 A Crystal Palace type second season bar the managerial change will satisfy me. The third season is when we should look to really push on in this league and go for a top 7 or 8 finish. Next season will be just as, if not more difficult then this one.

We're in a healthy financial state, Pearson seems to have learned as much as the players and there are definitely some weaker teams than us. Reach 40 points asap and take the cups seriously, Villa have showed that it can pay dividends.

Need to sign the right players and keep that spirit that has created this amazing run. Sign Huth, extend Cambiasso's and Wasi's contract and bring in some quality. Best thing is finishing this season on such a high, the players will believe they can compete at this level and go on winning runs again!

If we can confirm we won't go down much earlier on, we will have a lot more time to prepare for the 2016/17 season, and REALLY make a go for it. Basically if we're 10th in March and 16 points clear, and finish up 15th and 8 points clear, I will be happy as Larry
