stripeyfox Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 Should be a great day out. Not sure my nerves could have stood it if we needed a result. So just relax and enjoy. As an aside, would be nice to see Rio Ferdinand put in an appearance. I'm sure he'd get a nice reception given what he has been through. But I suppose it would entirely depend on the player as to whether he wants to return to work so soon after his bereavement
Babylon Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 It will be a bit muted... jobs done, everyone will be relaxed and slightly drunk / hungover.
kingcarr21 Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 fancy dress anyone? Ive got a Captain America outfit and ive got 'The Mask'. Wondering which one to wear.
ozleicester Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 If someone is bringing a ball we can have sk1 and the east stand v family stand/west stand. I' ll play up front if that's ok, 15000 per side Couldnt we have the kop and L1 playing together...
Dennis118555 Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 Up at Sunderland, I retrieved a large football in my semi pissed state, threw it up in the air and whacked it as hard as I possibly could. The ball then flew into some poor sods face two rows behind! I felt a right c**t (apologies again if your reading this). So beware the alcohol/inflatables combo!
LanguedocFox Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 Will we all feel sorry for the QPR fans Sunday I will be full of admiration for any of them who turn up.
melrose Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 This will be my first time experiencing this special atmosphere that I have been hearing all about lately! Very much looking forward to seeing the the ground bouncing!
Strokes Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 fancy dress anyone? Ive got a Captain America outfit and ive got 'The Mask'. Wondering which one to wear.Well wear the captain america outfit with the mask over the top. Obviously.
AndWhat? Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 Will be going for it all game like I have every game this season!
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 If someone is bringing a ball we can have sk1 and the east stand v family stand/west stand. I' ll play up front if that's ok, 15000 per side I will play in the Cambiasso role for the Kop.
Lasty Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 It'll be a glorified friendly. Chill out, drink lager, watch football, no stress. Lovely.
VLC86 Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 Will we all feel sorry for the QPR fans Sunday I agree, I think we should spare a minute for them. Such a tragedy whats happened there, signed a bunch of overpaid nob heads and its somehow gone pete tonge. Gutted.
MrSpaM Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 The clappers can do one now The clappers are going to be there every home game next season
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 This will be my first time experiencing this special atmosphere that I have been hearing all about lately! Very much looking forward to seeing the the ground bouncing! Plastic
melrose Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 Plastic I thought new season ticket holders were "plastics"
ithuriel Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 Peeps going on about the clappers or whackers as some call them but thinking about it, they are a modern day replacement for the old rattles that you see in those olden day matches for noise making. I'm just going to chill and relax and enjoy the game.
Vlad the Fox Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 I thought new season ticket holders were "plastics" Ha ha yes, and weren't they going to contribute nothing to the atmosphere?!
Babylon Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 Someone has posted a picture of the pitch for Sunday... I think the groundsman has been let lose with his mower it's fair to say
promised land Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 Someone has posted a picture of the pitch for Sunday... I think the groundsman has been let lose with his mower it's fair to say pitch.jpg They always do stripe it slightly differently last home game, last seasons was very similar but at 90 degrees, not diagonals and straight stripes. It will be cut a few times more between now and Sunday though so might not look like that. Personally I prefer circle stripes starting from centre out, Mexico 86 springs to mind.
Weller in Tights Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 Family Stand bring inflatables and please remember it's the Family Stand, they need to be appropriate. We don't need some poor parent having to explain what the purpose of a particular inflatable is. Let's have a fantastic atmosphere to finish the season off. I was so happy at Sunderland, a brilliant atmosphere again by our travelling fans. The team has achieved an amazing Great Escape. Let's raise the roof with noise and create a fantastic visual effect with inflatables, Ticker Tape and balloons. Spread the word amongst your mates, use Twitter, Facebook and good old WORD OF MOUTH!
Vlad the Fox Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 I've been into the new party shop (let's party) in Syston today and got myself some fine blue and white balloons. Let's make it look like we used to at Filbert street and Wembley with thousands of balloons and a huge paper storm. Come on City.
