Yea i guess you are right if he feels settled at Sunderland and they make a bid then he go's their, but If he want to play for a real club then he should come here :P

Let Pearson show him the Leicester good life and he'll be committed in no time! I doubt they serve ostrich burgers in Sunderland.

Wes, was, huth, morgan, moore and Coates would be enough Cb cover, hopefully moore will go out on loan to the right club this time.

Can't wait to see Wes and Morgan playing in a back 3 together.

Its a bit of a strange bid really, he has been on loan at Sunderland all season then we try and buy him, how would you feel if sunderland suddenly made a bid for Huth? You would think we loaned him we get the first choice to put a bid in.

 

 

Well if you dont pay the money and get that 1st refusal clause written into the loan deal then you can't complain...

And his passing is atrocious apparently. Morgan's passing is piss poor as well and Stoke fans say the reason Hughes didn't select Huth was because Hughes wanted his defenders to pass the ball from defence and Huth didn't cut the mustard.

I'll take Coates for £3m. He's 6'5 and can defend.

Sunderland could blow 3m on him then the new manager comes in and dosent rate/want him then that's 3m down the drain, the fact our current manager wants him at our club would possibly make us a better option for the lad over sunerland

His play at Nacional and for Uruguay and his play during the last 6 games of the season when he had a decent run would say you're wrong. I guess the Liverpool scouts would too.

So Coates, huth and Thorpe in, Upson and Moore out?

 

I'd be happy with that.

 

Huth, Wes, Was, Coates, Thorpe with RDL as a backup seems a decent CB stable to me.

If he's been good for all of that then he really only has a few poor games against his name.

As was Wes until someone else came and took the lead in terms of decision making responsibility (Huth). After that he looked like a quality PL defender.
