sylofox Posted 22 May 2015 Posted 22 May 2015 Based on the fact they think our game last week was at the KP I would say it is total bollox. If they don't have a clue where we played last saturday why would we think the story had any truth.
sylofox Posted 22 May 2015 Posted 22 May 2015 Couple of decent game doesn't hide the fact that he plays for Sunderland. But he is a professional footballer more than can be said for people on here.
AKCJ Posted 22 May 2015 Posted 22 May 2015 But he is a professional footballer more than can be said for people on here. Yeah but he does play for Sunderland.
4everfox Posted 22 May 2015 Posted 22 May 2015 Yeah but he does play for Sunderland. He plays for Liverpool.
Wymsey Posted 22 May 2015 Posted 22 May 2015 He seems to lose possession a lot when he's under pressure; think he's more suited to the Championship.
cityfanlee23 Posted 24 May 2015 Posted 24 May 2015 I've only seen Sunderland fans saying he's shit really. He hasn't looked too bad when I've seen him but I'm not sure how I'd feel about this.... playing along side Wes brown and John oshea anyone would look shit. Give this lad a decent partner and he will be decent, there must be a reason that liverpool have kept him on, they obviously see something in him. I'd have him no doubt, easily replace upson for example.

Soar Fox Posted 28 May 2015 Posted 28 May 2015 Yeah but he does play for Sunderland. He plays for Liverpool. lol!
Tuna Posted 28 May 2015 Posted 28 May 2015 http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/580488/Nigel-Pearson-Leicester-Liverpool-Sebastian-Coates-Transfer-News-Gossip This is the same gossip column that thinks Vardy to Villa for 15 million and Schlupp to Arsenal .
Stevosevic Posted 28 May 2015 Posted 28 May 2015 "The Uruguayan was sent out on loan to Sunderland this season, but failed to break into the first-team until after the appointment of Dick Advocaat as boss." I trust Dick's judgement over Poyet's
LCCFox96 Posted 28 May 2015 Posted 28 May 2015 "The Uruguayan was sent out on loan to Sunderland this season, but failed to break into the first-team until after the appointment of Dick Advocaat as boss." I trust Dick's judgement over Poyet's Yup this is the main positive to glean from the article. The fact his breaking into the team coincided with their good run of form is a positive when assessing whether he'd be good enough for us.
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 28 May 2015 Posted 28 May 2015 I would imagine it's bullshit but would be happy if the rumour was true.
MPH Posted 28 May 2015 Posted 28 May 2015 "The Uruguayan was sent out on loan to Sunderland this season, but failed to break into the first-team until after the appointment of Dick Advocaat as boss." I trust Dick's judgement over Poyet's And yet Dick has gone now so he'll be all " oh no where do i go and what do i do now" and we'll be like " come here, son we'll ave yer you are well good" and he'll be like " yeah yeah wicked, it's nice to be wanted" Happens just like that for every transfer.
lgfualol Posted 28 May 2015 Posted 28 May 2015 So if he and huth sign we'll be looking at Coates-Huth-Wes hm
gurru991 Posted 28 May 2015 Posted 28 May 2015 I think he would be a great signing for us. Our back three are all 30 plus & could help a younger player progress.
conLAD logan Posted 28 May 2015 Posted 28 May 2015 Wes, was, huth, morgan, moore and Coates would be enough Cb cover, hopefully moore will go out on loan to the right club this time.
Callabinho Posted 29 May 2015 Posted 29 May 2015 Coates would be a good signing. Similar to Huth, good potential. Possibly one of the reasons Sunderland stopped conceding so many goals?
FrankieADZ Posted 29 May 2015 Posted 29 May 2015 id be surprised if we got him...the form he showed towards the end of the season was brilliant....this moment in time hed alot better than Lovern imo

Freesolo Posted 29 May 2015 Posted 29 May 2015 Its a bit of a strange bid really, he has been on loan at Sunderland all season then we try and buy him, how would you feel if sunderland suddenly made a bid for Huth? You would think we loaned him we get the first choice to put a bid in.

You would think we loaned him we get the first choice to put a bid in. At the end of the day, I doubt the club would worry if it made the Sunderland fans a bit sad. If his loan contract didn't have the option to buy then Sunderland are unlikely to get first choice. It's just about where the player would prefer to play. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
