ARM1968 Posted 15 September 2015 Posted 15 September 2015 Stoke will be ok but Villa will struggle whilst managed by Mr. Flappy Bird.
Master Fox Posted 15 September 2015 Posted 15 September 2015 I really hope other clubs keep appointing rubbish managers, it only helps with our progression. I do worry one of these Premier League clubs down the bottom might appoint Nige and then he'll come back and destroy us by stealing all are back room staff / Shakey / Walsh. I just wish Nigel would disappear forever.

The Blur Posted 15 September 2015 Posted 15 September 2015 Shrewd move making payet my fantasy football captain tonight as he's the only player I have involved. Good tactic that, I haven't thought of that before!
ScouseFox Posted 15 September 2015 Posted 15 September 2015 at us having the oldest squad. wonder what the average age of our first few starting elevens was. kasper 28 rdl 26 wes 31 huth 31 jeff 22 riyad 24 drinky 25 king 26 albrighton 25 vardy 28 shinji 28 schwarzer fu cks our average haha.
Dan Posted 15 September 2015 Posted 15 September 2015 To be fair, the atmosphere at West Ham really is good. As for Newcastle..The wally doesn't seem to be turning it around just yet does he. He should do..They have a far better squad than this time last year. It really isn't. I couldn't believe how silent they were last year. Better this year though in fairness to them.
EnglishOxide Posted 15 September 2015 Posted 15 September 2015 If McClaren can't get Newcastle going I can see Nige taking over there.
Steven Posted 15 September 2015 Posted 15 September 2015 If McClaren can't get Newcastle going I can see Nige taking over there. Nige has been sacked once from there. He would never go back to where he was sacked before ......; oh wait.
STUHILL Posted 15 September 2015 Posted 15 September 2015 If McClaren can't get Newcastle going I can see Nige taking over there. Don't think Nige's next job will be a Prem one. Championship or somewhere abroad most likley I reckon
Fox in the North Posted 15 September 2015 Posted 15 September 2015 Have you seen Jose's response to a reporter's question? If that was Pearson last year...
Jimothy Posted 15 September 2015 Posted 15 September 2015 at us having the oldest squad. wonder what the average age of our first few starting elevens was. kasper 28 rdl 26 wes 31 huth 31 jeff 22 riyad 24 drinky 25 king 26 albrighton 25 vardy 28 shinji 28 schwarzer fu cks our average haha. Reckon we'd be about 27.5 without Schwarzer in the squad.
Soar Fox Posted 15 September 2015 Posted 15 September 2015 Have you seen Jose's response to a reporter's question? If that was Pearson last year... They would be slating Pearson. But to be honest Mourinho was right with what he was saying to the reporter.
Guest Col city fan Posted 15 September 2015 Posted 15 September 2015 Can't agree with those saying the Boleyn isn't generally a good atmos. One of the better ones in the Prem I've been to.
Guest Col city fan Posted 15 September 2015 Posted 15 September 2015 When did you last go? Went a few times last season (not v City). Mate lives in Shoreditch and gets us tickets. I've been to most Prem league grounds over the past few years and West Ham definitely one of the best for atmos IMO.

Probably makes a huge difference if you're sitting with the home fans, in the away end you just can't hear anything from the home support.
Captain... Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 Reckon we'd be about 27.5 without Schwarzer in the squad.27 years and 11 months without SchwarzerI'm not sure how they count the under 21 players, I'm guessing they are using the match day squad plus any u-21 that have played, but surely that would include Dodoo and he would be our youngest player instead of Jeff.
Jimothy Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 27 years and 11 months without Schwarzer I'm not sure how the count the under 21 players, I'm guessing they are using the match day squad plus any u-21 that have played, but surely that would include Dodoo and he would be our youngest player instead. Good point about Dodoo. Maddison has made a squad too. That would bring our average down a bit.
Captain... Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 In fact those figures look wrong to me, I'm pretty sure our squad was 24 players, including Hamer with a call back option. You look at some of the bigger clubs under 21 players and it includes players that have never played for the club, Matt Macey, Baba Rahman. We've had Dodoo play and Madison on the bench but apparently we have no u21 players. Neither do Bournemouth, I know it is a old folks town, but do they really have no U21s or is it just lazy research.
Finn Claw II Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 We have Chilwell, Barmby, Dodoo and Lawrence all close to the first team squad. We also have Hamer as a backup keeper. CB is my only real concern in terms of aging squad.
ScouseFox Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 we've got a core of our squad at the perfect age (22-28) with experience at the back and the occasional flash of brilliance from a youngster. great position to be in, instead of relying on some 19 year old to be the best player in the world or hoping some 36 year old is fit enough to play every game cost we'd be fvcked without him.
Wycombe Fox Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34249318 Love the league table lower down
conLAD logan Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 I was thinking after the dross shown by the English teams in the champions league last night, how brilliant would it be if someone was to disrupt the usual top 4 and a team not usually in the champions league finished in the top 4? In the spainish, German and Italian leagues it seems to change every year. How brilliant would it be if teams like palace, Swansea and Southampton did what we probably would all think is impossible? Id like to think they show a lot more passion, of course the dream is to eventually build Leicester enough that we get there to, but let's not rush things as we could easily crash and burn. The only teams from England I've liked watching in the champions league in recent years are arsenal and Tottenham, as they were by far the most daring and entertaining, they went out to play and weren't held back by this tactical b*llsh*t that is popular in today's game.
