Tbf anyone on this forum could have told the FA putting Mike Dean in charge of a match like Chelsea-Arsenal was dumb.  It's almost like they wanted to encourage controversial talking points from the opening game of the day.

I only said last Sunday that Dean is renowned for spotting nitpicky small things (I don't mean Gabriels offence but in general) yet misses or misjudges the blatant things. Costa earlier did the card request gesture, gives one swing, one slap, two slaps, uses chest with force, third slap, petulance yet gets one yellow card. I was shouting "Be brave ref" at the TV, but it's the home side, Mourinho has spent two years suggesting an anti Chelsea conspiracy, so he bottled it and if it affects the result another big game is ruined by the incompetance of the officials. I haven't had to say that this season but last season they ruined many a game, Dean in particular. And people wonder why Chelsea are unliked, can't wait for Mourinhos defence of the scum.

Costa may be cheeky but when will thick headed opposition players get it that he is a cvnt and purposely draws you in. I almost cant blame costa for being a bell end cuz clearly referees dont see it that way and its a great tool to win a ganme with. Players have got to ignore costas antics.
