RedSoxUK Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 Happier we're expected to be relegated tbh rather than have enormous pressure when we're sitting inevitably in 16/17/18th place near Christmas. Think it's down to the manager change / loss of Cambiasso, but they really shouldn't underestimate us that badly. Would be more detrimental to West Ham, Crystal Palace, Aston Villa if anyone.
Simmo86 Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 Norwich and QPR fans have't got a good word to say about him. Anybody know the reason? Is it just because he can't be bothered to get back into shape? Dodgy knee. He also failed a medical at Everton before signing for Norwich.
Master Fox Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 Is there a single player from any of the promoted teams who would get into our starting 11? I don't think so. Maybe Maxi but that's it.
Big_Nige Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 Is this your go to online site for sports news? Haha, no never heard of it. Stumbled across earlier. Don't think I'll be using it again.

Possibly Capoue Redmond would be nice to have available. Whether he would get into our team im not so sure. Deeney knows where the net is too.

No but apparently Bournemouth's front line could see them top half... "But a front four of Gradel and Matt Ritchie out wide and Tomlin in behind last season's 23-goal top scorer Callum Wilson will cause every defence in the Premier League problems." http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3185797/Bournemouth-finish-half-Premier-League-players-manager-emulate-Reading-Ipswich.html

Leicesterpool Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 I think Bournemouth maybe this years surprise team, I think they'll play some attacking football and treat every game like they've got nothing to lose. A bit like when Blackpool came up, they may score a few but they may take a few hammering's here and there. Watford I think may struggle and will be this years rock bottom club, while Norwich I think may just about stay up, mainly down to the experience they've got in there current squad, but surprised they haven't made much transfer business in this window. 18th: Sunderland or Villa 19th: West Ham Utd 20th: Watford
MC Prussian Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 Palace sign Bakary Sako. If all their signings click they could be a force this season... Thank **** - I'm just glad that's another tedious transfer rumour off the table.
Big_Nige Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2015/aug/05/premier-league-2015-16-season-predictions Nearly all predict us to go down in this too. I'm not expecting many pundits to sing our praises but a lot of this really does smack of lazy journalism and major generalisations.

The Horse's Mouth Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 I'm not sure why you're all surprised, after the nature of the summer it was obvious were were going to be there and the nature of how we stayed up. The new three are by far worse than us, but no journo would seriously suggest all three would go down.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 Actually I take that back "Unlike last season all three promoted clubs have the potential to thrive, which hopefully will lead to a closely contested relegation scrap that will never see one side marooned on the bottom." most hilarious thing I've ever read, considering all were predicting that the two who went down were going to thrive and stay up
Wymsey Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 I think we've got a stronger squad, overall than Swansea who did quite a miracle last season and season before. I predict they'll be below us, and Newcastle be above us. It's going to be a funny season
Leicesterpool Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 What I think will be vital to Bournemouth's survival is if Eddie Howe stays.

A bit like when Blackpool came up, they may score a few but they may take a few hammering's here and there. Think Howe is a bit better than that tbh. I can't see them abandoning the attacking philosophy that got them here but i doubt he'd allow them to go completely gung-ho all year.

Stevosevic Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 We were bottom for 5 months, even if Pearson was still in charge there would still be people tipping us for the drop.
Big_Nige Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 We were bottom for 5 months, even if Pearson was still in charge there would still be people tipping us for the drop. It's not the fact that people are tipping us for the drop, I'm not surprised at that. It's the manor they are saying it, Ranieri had the best of it in his first interview. I can't remember the exact quote but it was along the lines of 'He wants to find out the true Leicester City, the last 10 games or the bad middle period' That sums us up, we are still somewhat of an unknown quantity and our season could go either way. If you read most of the so called pundits we'll be down by Christmas. It just shows a lack of respect for a team that competed in every game last season.

Donut Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 Winning the champ with a point is the greatest feat ever achieved for the phenomenal amount of time that is 1 fricking season. Someone shoot that author! This is exactly it, i dont get the love in. If it hadnt been for a 90th minute equaliser in the Watford v Sheffield Wednesday game, they wouldnt have even won the league. They got nowhere near our points total and went on runs of multiple defeats in a row last season.
