TJB-fox Posted 4 August 2015 Posted 4 August 2015 I just saw a quote from Tim Sherwood saying Gestede has the best heading/aerial ability in england In fairness, there isn't many players who would out jump him. Not jealous of Villa for signing him but he is a ****ing animal aerially.

FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 4 August 2015 Posted 4 August 2015 glad we can roll out the Maxi Gradel song again this year!
MC Prussian Posted 4 August 2015 Posted 4 August 2015 Berahino congratulates himself on his birthday: Well odd.
lgfualol Posted 4 August 2015 Posted 4 August 2015 Berahino congratulates himself on his birthday: Well odd. He's not even that tall IRL
Sharpe's Fox Posted 4 August 2015 Posted 4 August 2015 Does Berahino regularly go out on the streets in his kit with a leukemia strikken crippled child?
RedSoxUK Posted 4 August 2015 Posted 4 August 2015 Does Berahino regularly go out on the streets in his kit with a leukemia strikken crippled child? Yes.
Dan Posted 4 August 2015 Posted 4 August 2015 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33774010 Would love to see what Themistocles has to say about that one
MC Prussian Posted 4 August 2015 Posted 4 August 2015 Does Berahino regularly go out on the streets in his kit with a leukemia strikken crippled child? He's an avid Christian - even though he's been arrested on the suspicion of drunk driving once and inhaled some laugh gas in the past. But his escape from Burundi certainly is a fascinating tale.
Wymsey Posted 4 August 2015 Posted 4 August 2015 Hope most of Stoke's fans are brought straight back down to earth, battling relegation.
Jimothy Posted 4 August 2015 Posted 4 August 2015 Would love to see what Themistocles has to say about that one My favourite bit was the "I don't think they're that far from the top three" Seriuosly, is he mental. I was impressed by Stoke last year, but to think they aren't far off Chelsea, Arsenal and Man City and will finish ahead of Man Utd, Spurs and Liverpool is crazy. That's before you even think about the teams that are of similar ability to them, like Everton, Swansea, Southampton. They could easily finish behind them and even Palace.
Fox92 Posted 4 August 2015 Posted 4 August 2015 Wow, Bournemouth have £3.5million bid accepted for Lee Tomlin.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 4 August 2015 Posted 4 August 2015 Haha Tomlin is well overweight, £2 million of that money is paying for his substantial gut.
daddylonglegs Posted 4 August 2015 Posted 4 August 2015 Tomlin is a good player. at championship level that is. Premier League is so much faster, paying 3 mil for him is hilarious
themistocles Posted 4 August 2015 Posted 4 August 2015 Would love to see what Themistocles has to say about that one Think he had a few sherbets when he wrote that did old Al. Stoke will be top 10 again this season like the previous two seasons, however it'll be a whole lot harder with other teams splashing the cash ( west ham, castle, palace ect) and our lack of investment..

Who will be your number one GK now, I'm guessing Butland? That other new one seems a good prospect, too.
The Bear Posted 4 August 2015 Posted 4 August 2015 Butland had the shirt at the end of last season. Can't see that changing
ScouseFox Posted 4 August 2015 Posted 4 August 2015 bournemouth with their best george boyd impression here. relegation certainties.
AKCJ Posted 4 August 2015 Posted 4 August 2015 Cant be the only one who rates Tomlin. He ran the show regularly for Middlesbrough.
Reg Vardy Posted 4 August 2015 Posted 4 August 2015 Cant be the only one who rates Tomlin. He ran the show regularly for Middlesbrough. agree intelligent footballer....slimmer Gary TF......
Guest MattP Posted 4 August 2015 Posted 4 August 2015 Great to see Tomlin given a chance at this level, hope he is good enough as he's a top bloke. Huge City fan as well, he'd play for us for free if offered.
Guest Col city fan Posted 4 August 2015 Posted 4 August 2015 Cant be the only one who rates Tomlin. He ran the show regularly for Middlesbrough. Overweight and overpriced IMO. The Prem is completely different.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 4 August 2015 Posted 4 August 2015 Great to see Tomlin given a chance at this level, hope he is good enough as he's a top bloke. Huge City fan as well, he'd play for us for free if offered. I agree MattPGood luck to Lee
Nalis Posted 4 August 2015 Posted 4 August 2015 Hope most of Stoke's fans are brought straight back down to earth, battling relegation. They tragically wont unfortunately. They will maintain their role of being midtable with those barely recognising twhether they are even there or not. To me, Stoke are a bit like the guy in work who tries really hard to improve himself and impress his co-workers when in reality no one would even notice if he quit.
AKCJ Posted 4 August 2015 Posted 4 August 2015 Overweight and overpriced IMO. The Prem is completely different. The Premier League rewards players with a footballing brain and those who require a bit more time on the ball. He'll do well. Overweight? <laugh> If he was overweight there is no way that he'd be playing Premier League football. Looks can be and are deceiving. My best mate is as skinny as a rake and can't run up the stairs without getting out of breath.
