Premier League 2015/16 Stuff it in here.

Everyone loves the little old Bournemouth shit.

Its mainly because of Howe who is a likeable manager as opposed to their play on the pitch to be honest.

And £15 million for those two players is outrageously bad business.

Sean Dyche v2.0 No team gets to the Prem without money anymore.....

why are Bournemouth suddenly the team who it's cool to hate?

Everything about them is a bit too Burnley. It's alright to be small and poor as long as you don't mention it. As soon as the manager starts banging on about being the underdog with pennies to spend you just gotta wish failure on them

For being stereotyped without any foundations for their opinions would be one, the bleating about money when theyre spending a lot of it another, the fact that they scrambled through the championship by the skin of their teeth yet being likened to Brazil 70 as another. A flavour of the month "fad" manager another.

Watford have hardly had a mention this summer and admittedly, they could and probably will go down. But they play equally as good football, score as many goals, and with players like Vydra, Deeney, Behrami, Anya, Capoue, Holebas, theyve got the makings of a squad that is equally, if not better equipped to make a fist of staying up as Bournemouths and yet people brand Bournemouth as the plucky ones and think Watford are certain to go down.

Nothing to do with football, just because Bournemouth are unfashionable, have a little ground and have had a big rise to fame.

Fad manager? Or maybe they have a good manager whose taken them from League 2 to the Prem, in between that he pretty much built the Burnley squad that Dyche inherited. We think Nige was a top manager for taking us from League 1 to the Premier League, when Howe did it from a League below spending similar amounts. And yes he had money to spend, but it was probably the average a challenging side would look to spend on the right kind of player, like Wilson from Cov. People make it out as if they spent like QPR or us circa 2012.

This board ain't half embarrassing sometimes. We see a club getting a bit more coverage than us and pull the daggers out. I don't give a sh!t about Burnley, I don't give a sh!t about Bournemouth, but they earnt their place in the league like we did, so can we just stand back and enjoy our own club for a minute? People go up in arms when bigger clubs call us tinpot or a poverty club and then we do exactly the same to smaller clubs! lol

You're completely right (whistle)...

I'm sure you would love what stoke have achieved in the last 7 years in the Prem for Leicester;FA final, reaching the Europa league knockout stages narrowingly being beaten 1-0 to Valencia, And not to mention steadily improving season after season to become an established top 10 team..

But you're Leicester city, you belittle every team in the leauge based on absolutely nothing and act like your the only team in the league with ambition.

Thumbs-up though. .

Edit: stoke are actually receiving rave reviews from the majority of the media, especiallyw now we have 4 soon to be 5 ex barca players.

I wish all the best for Leicester in the upcoming season, thoroughly likable team ( apart from the deluded few on this board)

Exactly where we're looking to be. Fair play to Stoke, they dug in for a good few years under Pulis and whilst not playing atttactive football they became hard to beat.

Now under Hughes it seems like you're trying to alter your image somewhat. I don't think it really matters if your new players are ex Barca or not to be honest as they didn't really do much there (Robbie Savage came from Man United lol )

I think once again you'll finish around midtable and will take a couple of scalps against the bigger teams

I think it's Eddie Howe's Sean Dyche impersonation, "we've not got as much money as everyone else", after spending £19m this summer, bankrolled by the wealthy owner.

Hes probably referring to wage structure. Not sure why people get so emotional about a club being small and mentioning it. Especially during a point in the season where transfers are happening.

Too right!

12 months ago we were being written off by PL fans that had no idea about us or the championship. We were all buzzing and talking ourselves up, only natural when you've just seen your team promoted

Whether they have the quality or luck to stay up is another matter but it won't be won or loston who's the 'bigger club'

just like to say I hated them before it was cool

I like Bournemouth, always refreshing to have a new side in the premier league and a nice rise from the lower leagues

Me too.

Seem to have gone about things the right way and have a young and upcoming English manager. Hope they stay up out of the promoted teams (obviously not at our expense)

i dont mind them but unfortunately if them getting relegated means us being safe then i couldn't care less about them.

I've nothing against Bournemouth, must be fantastic to be a fan of theirs and I can only image how excited they must be for Saturday. I love a good rags to riches story, even if they aren't as poor as they make out.

However, it's a little bit embarrassing they haven't been able to send their season tickets out in time for the first game and they haven't got any replica kits to sell. Bit tin pot.

I've got a feeling the media love-in will start to do our heads in as well, they will be this years media darlings, a more fashionable Burnley if you will. No fault of the fans or club but let's see how they equip themselves first before claiming they'll easily stop up (Durham and Gough on talkshite)

Surprised Sako's gone to Palace.

Obviously chose London over Birmingham / abroad or has gone where the money is.

Not in a million years is it 'footballing reasons', quite a blatant agent grabber.

Leroy Fer failed his medical at Sunderland

lol Norwich and QPR fans have't got a good word to say about him.

Anybody know the reason? Is it just because he can't be bothered to get back into shape?
