Guest Col city fan Posted 6 August 2015 Posted 6 August 2015 That's an embarrassment from West Ham. I'd be absolutely furious if I were a fan. Then again it would have been even more embarrassing if their first team had gone over there and got turned over, which was very possible given the first leg. Why the hell rest so many players for ARSENAL AWAY at the weekend, a game which they will lose whatever XI they put out? They're going to look fvcking stupid on Sunday evening having lost 3-0 at the Emirates and thrown away their only chance at European football, losing to the third-best team in Malta and the fourth-best team in Romania en route. Bilic at 10s to win the Sack Race - I'll be having a bit of that action personally. Not often I say this (if ever) but I may well join you in some of that action.
Guest Col city fan Posted 6 August 2015 Posted 6 August 2015 I'm making it a 3 way lads Only if Scouse joins in too..
EnglishOxide Posted 6 August 2015 Posted 6 August 2015 I can't see Brendan Rodgers being a success at Liverpool, don't know what exactly but something doesn't seem right there. I always had him down as quite a progressive manager who gets some unfair stick. He says some cringeworthy things but that's the least of his worries. He is lucky to he in a job still and he is on thin ice. He mismanaged Sterling to make him want to leave. He failed miserably to adequately replace Suarez. And he failed to get the team winning without Sturridge. He made some shocking signings and wasted silly money. He failed every test last season. However, he does like to play pretty and attacking football, I don't know what he has done to improve the defence, if anything but Ings, Firminho and Benteke is infinitely better progress than Lambert and Balotelli up front. They need to hit the ground running or he will be out of a job IMO.
TheSomersetFox Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 Just saw a Dyche interview on ssn, fvck me thank god we don't have to listen to that bellend talk at us anymore, only just properly sunk in how good a feeling that is. Shouldn't even really be posting this in this thread, the championship no-mark prat.
EnglishOxide Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 I can't see Burnley challenging for top 2 this season, I think they've failed to invest enough cash in the playing staff and Derby and Boro will certainly be ahead of them.

Donut Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 Interesting listening to the fountains of knowledge on Five Live - Wright, Savage and Fletcher. By interesting of course I mean boring. Apparantly we're down, so lets all not bother and look forward to next seasons championship campaign. The tripe these idiots come out with though. Really fed up with the Faroe Islands card being played. Greece lost to the Faroe Islands in the corresponding fixture with the next coach also getting sacked. Its like saying Sir Alex must be a shit manager because he lost 3-0 to York City in 1995. And the cock sucking of Bournemouth is getting very tedious. Couldnt have said it better myself. Robbie Savage is one of the worst pundits ever. In history. Ill never forget the embarrasing cringeworthy cock sucking he gave Mancini during the Man City Fa Cup tie, or tried to and looked an idiot. Its astonishing how little anyone fancies Leicester. I fancy with a good season, the business weve done, and the manager we have, we can possibly threaten 12th, 11th place. Certainly not 20th. Bournemouth are the BBC's favourite, Bournemouth Bumming Corporation that is. Seriously, seriously hope that club gets utterly smashed to pieces this season so everything surrounding the charm of "little old Bournemouth" can be absolutely ruined.
FrankieADZ Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 is it just me or are loads of journo's kissing bournemouth's a**e or something?, actually really starting to dislike them now they seem more Holy then God to some
Fox92 Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 is it just me or are loads of journo's kissing bournemouth's a**e or something?, actually really starting to dislike them now they seem more Holy then God to some It's alright, once they've lost a few games I'm sure it'll all evaporate. (I'm hoping so too anyway).
lgfualol Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 Bournemouth will no doubt start strongly. You'll see all the newspapers saying "see, we told you they're best team in Britain cus they won the champ by one point" then POW goal drought, leaky defence relegation zone forever.
Fox92 Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 It's like they all talk about Howe doing all of this on no budget too. Wilson cost £3.5million last season.
filbertway Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 Such as? Mahrez ripped sides like arsenal to pieces last season and if we'd not lost the ability to finish our dinner in that October-March spell he'd have notched plenty of assists with his work. I like Matt Ritchie, but mahrez is light years ahead of him. Erickson, Countinho, Sigardsson. Tadic and barkley are pretty boss. I love Mahrez but you cant tell me you think he's better than these guys. On Ritchie, if you could combine Ritchies striking.of a ball with Riyad's everything else. You would have a hell of a player.

The Horse's Mouth Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 It's alright, once they've lost a few games I'm sure it'll all evaporate. (I'm hoping so too anyway). it usually increases, they've got Burnley's image with actual finances

Tbf I've not heard Fred's band, but if that's the bar you're setting then they probably are.
EnderbyFox Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 Wtf West Brom are signing Rondon? That's a serious signing
Donut Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 At least Lawro (of all people) talks some sense about Leicester on the results predictor column: Leicester v SunderlandIf new Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri can get his team playing with the passion they showed under Nigel Pearson in the last couple of months of last season, they will be absolutely fine. It is the same for Sunderland boss Dick Advocaat, who only took charge with nine games to go. The Foxes will play good football under Claudio Ranieri and I am expecting Sunderland to do the same. But Advocaat made the Black Cats hard to beat at the end of last season to get them safe and getting the basics right will be his priority at the King Power Stadium on Saturday. Lawro's prediction: 1-1 (i fancy the narrow win personally)
Dan Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 Wtf West Brom are signing Rondon? That's a serious signing A very good signing for a team like them. Fair play if that's true.
sdb Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 A very good signing for a team like them. Fair play if that's true. Blow for us. I'd say currently their squad and ours are pretty much on a par.
filbertway Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 Blow for us. I'd say currently their squad and ours are pretty much on a par. They could have Ronaldo and Aguero up top, boring Pulis is boring. They'll still just lump the ball up to him and hope for the best.
ScouseFox Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 Wtf West Brom are signing Rondon? That's a serious signing he'll be competing with berahino for the first left back spot
MikeJT Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 I am getting so annoyed with pundits saying we are going down. We have a veteran manager, Made some great signings and have a great 12th man. People like Michael Owen probably can't even pronounce Okazaki. I mean thinking we would come 19th. WHAT A FOOL!
