Nalis Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 I think we've got a stronger squad, overall than Swansea who did quite a miracle last season and season before. I predict they'll be below us, and Newcastle be above us. It's going to be a funny season Re: Swansea just
Danno Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 Why do people predict bournemouth to do better than us than they predicted for us last year? We were better than them in every single way when we got promoted.
Master Fox Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 The Borunemouth wankfest has begun. I hope they finish bottom with 6 points.
whoareyaaa Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 Bournemouth will start well but it won't last long I don't think, weakest team in the league and will get stuffed imo.

Guest ttfn Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 What?!?!?!?! Probably only Mahrez would make their starting XI and even that I'm not sure of. Huth, Vardy and Schmeichel in the 18?
ScouseFox Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 bournemouth will finish bottom by a distance. i'm having doh on that big time @ 9/2. should pay for 2016's holiday.
ScouseFox Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 Probably only Mahrez would make their starting XI and even that I'm not sure of. Huth, Vardy and Schmeichel in the 18? mahrez would be first name on the team sheet for anyone outside the top 4
Guest ttfn Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 mahrez would be first name on the team sheet for anyone outside the top 4And Man City.Edit: except King at Leicester.
Finnegan Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 mahrez would be first name on the team sheet for anyone
Guest ttfn Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 mahrez would be first name on the team sheet for anyone Would probably keep Bale out of the Wales team.
BlueSi13 Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 Prediction time: Based on what I've seen of Premier League teams this pre-season, I predict that for the second year in a row, not a single English team will make it to the Quarter-Finals of a either the Champions League or Europa League. Somehow we've all managed to spend over £500,000,000 on players this transfer window yet I can't think of a single WORLD CLASS player the league has brought in with that money. Embarrassing really.
st albans fox Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 Two things - our squad is not better than Swansea (and neither is our football atm) And Bournemouth will be found out quickly. the big difference between the champ and the bottom half of the prem is the quality of the defending. They have brought in distin - not good enough IMO. Howe's abilities will be tested and even though I expect him to come up short with that squad, I think his reputation will survive.
Corky Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 Howe's got a free pass this season- the press will target Ranieri, Flores and Advocaat out of the strugglers.
Guest seanfox778 Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 I quite like Bournemouth. I think West Ham will really struggle this season for some reason, I think they'll feel a lot more pressured to win at home as It's their last season there. They haven't really had a break and they don't seem to be doing all that well in the Europa League qualifiers. I really hope they do qualify though as I imagine it'll put a big strain on their season.
cocksylcfc Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 Come on you fellow foxes get involved in the LCFC dreamteam league... £5 entry and top 3 pay I've created a private League: 8123130 Password:qwerty1 https://t.co/IBy6T7jCB3#lcfc
The Bear Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 Is there a single player from any of the promoted teams who would get into our starting 11? I don't think so. Maybe Maxi but that's it.Matt Richie would. Leroy Fer failed his medical at SunderlandProbably for being a lazy bastard. Bournemouth annoy me because even last season they were banging on about being little old Bournemouth with no resources. Their owner is minted!
The Doctor Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 Matt Richie would. Would he? He's no wing back, you'd be looking at him vs Mahrez, and Mahrez wipes the floor with pretty much everyone in the division outside the top 4.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 In each of the past five seasons, the eventual Premier League winners have started their campaigns on a Monday night. STATS N THAT
The Bear Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 Would he? He's no wing back, you'd be looking at him vs Mahrez, and Mahrez wipes the floor with pretty much everyone in the division outside the top 4. I think that's overstating him somewhat. His output isn't THAT stellar. There's plenty better at left wing or behind the striker outside the top 4.
MC Prussian Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 Why do people predict bournemouth to do better than us than they predicted for us last year? We were better than them in every single way when we got promoted. Because they have a young English manager the media can bum all the way and one that doesn't tend to speak his mind in public.
Danno Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 Would he? He's no wing back, you'd be looking at him vs Mahrez, and Mahrez wipes the floor with pretty much everyone in the division outside the top 4.I'd have Mahrez, Albrighton and Schlupp over him anyday.
ScouseFox Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 i'd play with 10 over having to choose someone from bournemouth
Monk Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 BBC: Mourinho's Chelsea eased to the title last season, finishing eight points clear of runners-up Manchester City. But the Portuguese cited Bournemouth's signing of Max Gradel as evidence this season will be tougher. "Gradel could play for Chelsea," Mourinho said. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33796997 Oh how I laughed
Donut Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 The 5 live show from Bournemouth was an embarrasment too. When they were talking about Leicester and Claridge was bleating on about "wheres the CV? wheres the CV?" about Ranieri getting the Leicester job. How thick do you have to be not to see what he's done in the game? What a complete tool
