Tielemans63 Posted 26 May 2015 Posted 26 May 2015 Tom Huddlestone? The guy has been utter gash for the last 12 months and looks a stone overweight. Maybe a move back to the East Midlands might bring out the best in him but I had a butchers at their forum during the run-in and he was one of the main scapegoats, there weren't many defending that's for sure. Biggest complaint was that he basically didn't give a shit.
goose2010 Posted 26 May 2015 Posted 26 May 2015 thomas rosicky?? on a free transfer ok he is 34 but he could still cut it for us I have no doubt about that!
Bettsj2 Posted 26 May 2015 Posted 26 May 2015 thomas rosicky?? on a free transfer ok he is 34 but he could still cut it for us I have no doubt about that! Just signed a 1 year extension brah.
MGLCFC Posted 26 May 2015 Posted 26 May 2015 Not sure Cambiasso is replaceable. A unique player. I just hope we can keep hold of him for another year, make progress (maybe top half) then we may start to be able to attract real quality. If Pirlo was available for a season he could be a suitor to fill Esteban's boots.
enmac Posted 26 May 2015 Posted 26 May 2015 I'd be happy with Pirlo provided he's willing to go for the complete head shave.
FoxLAD Posted 26 May 2015 Posted 26 May 2015 I this we should sign jedinak regardless if estaban goes or not. More as a replacement for James. Maybe try sign Nathan chabolah? Young with bags of potential
Asherz Posted 26 May 2015 Posted 26 May 2015 Your all over reacting slightly ..before cambiasso came to us I had a soft spot for him for years since his immense debut ( have every Argentina top since 2002 World Cup have always been a massive fan of the team) but he is replaceable in a long term since the scouting team have just got to be savvy about who there looking at and a player that has already been mentioned on here is a mirror of a young cambiasso which is Lucas Romero still very young but bags of quality and potential . Monaco are cutting back due to there finances so I would strike while the iron is hot and have some of that Thai gold spent on him! Obviously in foxes talk fashion I will be shot down for having a audacious opinion but I would rather have anyone over huddlestone who for the rest of his career is just going to be a pay cheque mercenary
casablancas Posted 26 May 2015 Posted 26 May 2015 Kavlak? He's Austrian. Nah. We were linked with a Turkish lad but can't for life of me remember his name. International experience and looked almost as hard as wasyl !!!
Soar Fox Posted 26 May 2015 Posted 26 May 2015 Nah. We were linked with a Turkish lad but can't for life of me remember his name. International experience and looked almost as hard as wasyl !!! Selcuk Inan
Vicki Vixen Posted 26 May 2015 Posted 26 May 2015 Can't understand why people are saying they wouldn't have Jedinak! Him alongside Cambiasso would be class. People moan that we don't have enough steel in the midfield department, well he would be a great target. Chips in with a few goals too & would add to our aerial presence when it comes to set pieces. I personally would go for Jedinak if he isn't wanted. I agree, Jedinak is exactly the sort of player we need. One of the strongest midfielders around and a beast at set pieces at both ends of the pitch. Proven at PL level too.
ealingfox Posted 26 May 2015 Posted 26 May 2015 Leon Goretzka of Schalke. Signed him and Oskar Hiljemark of PSV for us on FM and they were both integral to our Champions League winning sides of 2016, 2018 and 2019. Get them in. And as Im sure many Hull fans will confirm, Huddlestone's been doggo for quite a while now.

If we're signing players based on football manager then we MUST sign Alvarez Balanta, Lucas Romero and Berardi!
wattolcfc Posted 26 May 2015 Posted 26 May 2015 It's called WISHLIST so I'll go for Messi or Ronaldo, I'm not fussy.
Unabomber Posted 26 May 2015 Posted 26 May 2015 Personally, given all things considered, Id be happier to be linked with a player like Lee Cattermole. Hows that for fence sitting?
My Nads Posted 26 May 2015 Posted 26 May 2015 I'd be happy with Pirlo provided he's willing to go for the complete head shave.
My Nads Posted 26 May 2015 Posted 26 May 2015 I can only think of 3 players that could possibly fill Cambiasso's boots, Pirlo, Xavi or Iniesta, but they just aint as good!
Long Eaton Fox Posted 26 May 2015 Posted 26 May 2015 Was impressed with Jonjo Shelvey when Swansea were down recently as an attacking midfielder.
Guest Bilo Posted 26 May 2015 Posted 26 May 2015 Leon Goretzka of Schalke. And as Im sure many Hull fans will confirm, Huddlestone's been doggo for quite a while now. He's been touted as a serious talent since he was at Bochum, and is still only 20. Capped for Germany as well, I'd love him here as one for the future.
Scotch Posted 26 May 2015 Posted 26 May 2015 If Cambiasso stays,we still need a CM, if he goes, we will need two. Finding one player to add what he adds to the team would be tough but adding two would do the trick. My direct replacement for Esteban would be Michael Essien. He has more of an engine on him whilst still pocessing experience. Along side him, I would want a box to box CM with a bit of creativity, someone like Steven Davis for me. Full of running, good in the tackle and can create chances. Not sure how much he would cost or if he would come though but if you ask me, Essien should be a major target, even if EC stays.
4everfox Posted 26 May 2015 Posted 26 May 2015 XAVI We've got two hopes of signing him, bob hope and no hope.
