Stadt Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 never stop what you're doing bro he never responds to other people's comments, he just makes weird remarks all the time hahahaaha
Wymsey Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 Being investigated: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-32986950
David Hankey Posted 3 June 2015 Posted 3 June 2015 Well my guess is Blatter will be too ill to stand trial when the investigation has been completed. It'll be another situation akin to Janner.
Mike Oxlong Posted 3 June 2015 Posted 3 June 2015 Would be amazed if it's a European who replaces him. Africa and Asia will blame UEFA and the US for ousting their sugar daddy.
Wymsey Posted 3 June 2015 Posted 3 June 2015 Think this guy should be given the presidency: Popular in Africa, and will certainly need the 'goodluck'.
Nick Posted 3 June 2015 Posted 3 June 2015 Get the Fuch out - two great bits of footballing news in two days.
Kitchandro Posted 3 June 2015 Posted 3 June 2015 Just switched on SSN - FIFA whistleblower Chuck Blazer admits he and others took bribes in relation to the 1998 and 2010 world cups. http://www1.skysports.com/football/live-blog Part of me thinks 'Chuck Blazer' has been fabricated by the Americans
AndWhat? Posted 3 June 2015 Posted 3 June 2015 'Blatter admits he facilitated acceptance of bribe over 1998 world cup' What the **** does that mean?
Kitchandro Posted 3 June 2015 Posted 3 June 2015 Fifa crisis: Ex-official Chuck Blazer details bribe-takingThe guilty pleas of former top Fifa official Chuck Blazer have been detailed with the release of papers from a 2013 hearing in New York. He says that he and others on Fifa's executive committee agreed to accept bribes in conjunction with the choice of South Africa as 2010 World Cup host. Mr Blazer says he also accepted bribes over the 1998 event. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/32998735
Callabinho Posted 3 June 2015 Posted 3 June 2015 I'm convinced he's only left because he's left because he knows one of his allies is stepping in. The re-election needs to be done properly.
The Doctor Posted 3 June 2015 Posted 3 June 2015 'Blatter admits he facilitated acceptance of bribe over 1998 world cup' What the **** does that mean? That he didn't take a bribe, he just set up bribers and the person being bribed as a middle man
AndWhat? Posted 3 June 2015 Posted 3 June 2015 That he didn't take a bribe, he just set up bribers and the person being bribed as a middle man Surely he can go down for that??
Jordan Posted 3 June 2015 Posted 3 June 2015 'Blatter admits he facilitated acceptance of bribe over 1998 world cup' What the **** does that mean? Are you sure you don't mean "Blazer" instead of "Blatter?"Blazer seemed like a very insecure person, so I'm not surprised he sang like a bird when the Feds grabbed him. Blazer's rise and fall are both absurdly spectacular. The guy has limited football knowledge outside coaching kids near my neck of the woods once, and seems to have even less business acumen. The only things he seemed really good at we're spending money and telling people what they want to hear. I'm sure he's doing a little bit of the latter with his confessions and stuff, but most of what he's alleging seems plausible. I used to think Blazer was just an eccentric, but he's well beyond that. The stories of things like his antics at strip clubs (all on CONCACAF credit cards), having an apartment for his cars at Trump Towers, his travel blog, and a trillion other things... The guy's a complete--to borrow an Anglicism--mentalist. It's half-mind-boggling, half-the-Most-FIFA-thing-ever that he got where he was.
yorkie1999 Posted 4 June 2015 Posted 4 June 2015 I think there's going to be a lot of rats trying to weasel out of tight corners over the next few days. Fifa will fall like a pack of cards. I still can't get over the fact africa and asia can near enough rule world football because of the amount of votes they have.
ramboacdc Posted 4 June 2015 Posted 4 June 2015 what are the honest chances of them taking the 2018 and 2022 world cups away in all honesty? i don't think russia will by any stretch of the imagination. Qatar on the other hand i think there will be a major stink. sadly if this does happen it means all those migrant workers died in vain.

There's probably a huge chance Qatar could lose the world cup, though I don't think Russia will due to it only being three years away and I don't think they'd many nations that would be prepared to host it in that short time... well maybe England could, due to the fact many of our stadium's are already built and as they kept saying "We could host it tomorrow!", though of course unlike the original bid we made they'd have to re-select some of stadiums that were picked for that bid. Nottingham for one, originally planned to build a new stadium. If they did have it they'd probably have to redevelop the City Ground. Plymouth I think would kinda be impossible. hopefully Milton Keynes aswell (still can't get over the idea they were picked!).

ramboacdc Posted 4 June 2015 Posted 4 June 2015 i don't get warners game here. he denied it for years. got convicted now he came out claiming he was innocent still and now says he will spill the beans now the deck has finally stacked against him?
act smiley Posted 4 June 2015 Posted 4 June 2015 By becoming a witness in a case against the Trinidad government and whoever at FIFA it is that he points at, he can avoid getting extradited to the USA.
Jordan Posted 4 June 2015 Posted 4 June 2015 Can't wait for Warner to spill the beans on how Brazil tried to sell all its World Cup stadiums on Craigslist.
The Doctor Posted 4 June 2015 Posted 4 June 2015 By becoming a witness in a case against the Trinidad government and whoever at FIFA it is that he points at, he can avoid getting extradited to the USA. More likely a plea bargain with the FBI - he gives up all he knows about other members wrong doings if they push for a lighter sentence.
