David Hankey Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 This is a 'Good News Day' and a great day for football around the world. This announcement is long overdue and I, for one, am glad to see the back of him. Celebrations await!!
AKCJ Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 So does Price Ali get it? They've clearly just uncovered hard evidence on the senile ****. Hope he gets locked up.
Corky Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 With that length of time in charge he'll be the perfect choice for next Watford manager
Ross-Kemp Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 Cheerio you scumbag. The hard work starts now, let's have some transparency and a full investigation into the dodgy dealing and claims. I suspect a lot more heads are going to role now and there is going to be a lot of twitchy arseholes (so expect to see Mr Hopper).
Xen Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 Does this mean that his rival for the presidency will take over? I imagine that because Blatter resigns now, rather than before, then it'll probably pass to someone he delegates himself, which is fraud in and of itself. Makes a mockery of the supposed 'election'...
Haydos Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 Possibly in the shit? Press conference was called on very short notice, reports form BBC journo that there was only 4 journos there and lots of people rushing around with power cables and stuff.
yorkie1999 Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 The real work starts now - complete investigation into all allegations of corruption and bribery, please! Probably already has and he's been tipped off
Wymsey Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 The worry is, is that he might be some 'whistleblower' now; telling the FBI etc of illegal activities within the organisation - and try to convince them that he has been innocent/is innocent.
ramboacdc Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 i told you that there was a press conference coming up! makes me wonder what will come out in the papers tomorrow.

ramboacdc Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 Champagne all round in the Alton Towers PR department right now haha!
Webbo Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 Wish I could believe there'd be someone less corrupt taking over.

Guest ttfn Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 Sepp Blatter: “We need a limitation on mandates and terms of office. I have fought for these changes but my efforts have been counteracted.” This is a man who just stood to be elected for a fifth four-year term in FIFA's top job at 79
I am Rod Hull Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 He will be replaced by a clone. Same shite, different face.
Carl the Llama Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 Maybe just a cynical ploy to stop a UEFA revolt on second thoughts.
