lineker10 Posted 22 June 2015 Posted 22 June 2015 In Korea, some newspapers reported article as follows. "LCFC want Shinwook Kim." Is it just rumor or really? Shinwook Kim is Korean striker and a member of 2014 worldcup team. He solved the problem of army service in last year. He is very tall striker (1.96m) and has good talent of header, finisher and passing skills. I really want that he will be LCFC player. ^^
4everfox Posted 22 June 2015 Posted 22 June 2015 Really tall South Korean striker. You're having a laugh mate.
lineker10 Posted 22 June 2015 Author Posted 22 June 2015 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBTjROVxaZY&feature=player_detailpage Shinwook Kim's Youtube video. He is faithful player.
Bagworthblue Posted 22 June 2015 Posted 22 June 2015 hey he is tall - that's the only criteria needed isn't it even if he has 1 gammy leg a very long neck and eats leaves off trees, height is all that matters!
lineker10 Posted 22 June 2015 Author Posted 22 June 2015 Many Korean football pans really love him. He is very sold and dedicated player. He recored many goals and assists in K League (Korean football league). His height is big advantage. Furthermore, he has good passing skills, defending skills and so on. If LCFC signs him, it is very good choice.
Aus Fox Posted 22 June 2015 Posted 22 June 2015 hey he is tall - that's the only criteria needed isn't it even if he has 1 gammy leg a very long neck and eats leaves off trees, height is all that matters! Nah mate, because muzzy was really small and he could play for Real Madrid now and no one would care innit.
MPH Posted 22 June 2015 Posted 22 June 2015 It could indicate that chris wood is on his way out on loan.... It would probably appease the owners too...
Fox42 Posted 22 June 2015 Posted 22 June 2015 In a way I'm happy for us to be linked with an Asian player after all the ruckus last month...
Bagworthblue Posted 22 June 2015 Posted 22 June 2015 being serious, (temporarily) this would be both a footballing and commercial signing so I would imagine the potential for this to be true being reasonably high.
4everfox Posted 22 June 2015 Posted 22 June 2015 Since the Okazaki rumour seems to be dead maybe this guy is the alternative. On his wikipedia page it says he has been linked with Real Madrid in the past.
sylofox Posted 22 June 2015 Posted 22 June 2015 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBTjROVxaZY&feature=player_detailpage Shinwook Kim's Youtube video. He is faithful player. He seems to be another player that only scores goals after watching the you tube
lineker10 Posted 22 June 2015 Author Posted 22 June 2015 Frankly speaking, His speed is not good. It is his disadvantage, but he has many good talents for striker. (his record of 100m run is 12 sec) : I think that it is not satisfied but, he is not slow runner.
dorsetboy Posted 22 June 2015 Posted 22 June 2015 i think you may be playing on the tall aspect a bit to much bear in mind he is playing in a league with a lot of smaller players
Guest Posted 22 June 2015 Posted 22 June 2015 i think you may be playing on the tall aspect a bit to much bear in mind he is playing in a league with a lot of smaller players He's bigger than every CB in the prem.
MPH Posted 22 June 2015 Posted 22 June 2015 Never been a prolific goalscorer in the k-league... he did score 22 goals in 2012 but that was with 52 games that year..... Then again the K-league never had christian Fuchs whipping them in from the left and Albrighton from the right... I'd take him as an option.....
ALC Fox Posted 22 June 2015 Posted 22 June 2015 The South Korean market has potential. They do love the Premier League and many other sports like baseball, basketball and volleyball. I'd be more than happy if we exploited the market, as well as gaining a foothold in other Asian markets whose people love the game. But, we shouldn't be signing these players purely for that reason. They have to give something to the team and improve the squad overall, just like with any other signing of any other nationality. I'm sure Pearson wouldn't go along with signing someone purely to exploit a market, especially as they would have to be included in the 25-man squad and actually play in order to successfully garner interest in that country. I know nothing about this guy specifically but if we bring him in, I'm confident it's because Pearson and his staff think he's good enough AS WELL AS having the benefit of increasing our profile abroad.
Babylon Posted 22 June 2015 Posted 22 June 2015 If he took Chris Woods spot it would hardly be the end of the world.
Swiper Posted 22 June 2015 Posted 22 June 2015 I'm assuming this won't be on a free, will it? I'd take him for sure if that was the case. He doesn't look bad based on the youtube clips. Wouldn't be bad to have Ulloa go all out for 65-70 minutes and then bring this guy in. It would be nice to have a constant aerial threat in there.
